I think this is the right momentum for Arsenal to be able to compete again for the title, Indeed the victory against Manchester City was only one match but this had a big impact on the mentality of the players so that they could be even more enthusiastic about the match.
On the other hand, facing Chelsea at this time will be another challenge even though there are still many who doubt Chelsea now but with their successive wins and the new formation with 3 strikers it makes them a little different and quite worthy of being wary of later.

Arteta sometimes finds it difficult to maintain their consistency which is something that is very important to do because if not then this will hinder their journey (back) but indeed even though this match against Manchester City is only one match it would be great if they are more motivated by this victory and use this as their momentum to make some good changes at the beginning of this season.

Asides from the game between Chelsea and Arsenal, another game I'm anticipating to be exciting and tough is the Liverpool Everton game( Merseyside derby). In a total of 242 meetings, Liverpool have won 98, drawn 77 and Everton has won 67. Judging by Liverpool's previous performance, this game may be an easy one but Sean Dyke's men have been known to create upsets too because in their last five games, they have won three important ones and the game won at Brentford ground sure boosted their confidence but they will need more than confidence to help them in that game because as it stands they are at the 16th position; and a win will be needed if they hope to get a little breathing space from the relegation spot.
 Liverpool have been known to come from behind to win a game and Brighton stopped that from happening before the international break. Will it happen again when they play hosts to Everton or will Alison Becker keep a clean sheet this time?

Liverpool have always been the better side in every Merseyside derbies. I don’t know but they’re always in a good form going into the derby and right now they’re in a very good form despite their draw with Brighton. Liverpool will try to extend their good start to the season. They have few injuries and suspension but I think these challenges won’t stop them from getting the 3 points.

Somehow I feel Everton will be looking to build on momentum generated by successive wins over Brentford in the league and Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup. They’re gradually picking form and Sean Dyche seems to be getting it right at the moment. They have improved and it’s i evident from their previous games. They will want to maintain this form and I’m sure they’ll give Liverpool a tough game even though they’re far from home .

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and although Liverpool seem to be favorites, Everton can still turn the game around. You made a fine observation on them being spurred by their win against Brentford and I feel they will want to capitalize on the fact that some of Liverpool's players are out due to suspension and injury. The game will be tough and I'm already seeing the game as a first half draw, who knows who might win full time?

Onana is having hard time at United but that doesn't make him a bad goalkeeper, plus after having a few bad games, players tend to get worse because of lack of morale and he may have lost his focus. When you try to go "this game I am going to be better and not screw up" the chances of you screwing up increases, because you are too focused on not making a mistake and that makes you make a mistake even more.

The new goalkeeper signed for the purpose as David de Gea replacement is having struggles to fit into his new team's system. It's usually normal for every goalkeeper in their first season but André Onana own seems to be worst because he's not showing or making any important improvement. Erik Ten Hag still believes in him to do a better job. André Onana is already screwing things up in his first season at Old Trafford. It's very important he bounced back to actions because he can't continue making significant blunders on the pitch which often leads to his team conceding irrelevant goals.

Since Onana has had a rough start at Old Trafford, I dont think its time to write him off just yet. Like wine, goalkeepers need time to get used to a new team and learn how they work together. He might not be at his best right now, but remember that even David De Gea had bad days at the start? I do understand why the fans are upset, though. This is especially true when the team keeps giving up goals. Okay, maybe its not just Onana. The defence should also play a little better. Manchester City isn't as strong as last season, which also contributed to Arsenal being able to beat them. It also was a home game for Arsenal. Chelsea is showing some positive signs as well, which means that I wouldn't be too sure if it will be any easier for Arsenal to beat Chelsea at Stamford bridge than beating Manchester City in their home stadium. They will be well advised to take the game as seriously and not expect a weak and erratic Chelsea.

Manchester United was not in poor shape last season despite qualifying for UEFA Champions League competition, they've failed to meet up in the present two games played in UCL, it's a big slap on the faces of the Red Devils. However that's not our current concerns now, we points out to the Englishman. Harry Maguire messed up last season, he couldn't fit in so good in the position entrusted to him. Erik Ten Hag tenure have surpassed two seasons and we are yet to noticed any changes in the Red Devils. We are watching the exact same Old Trafford playing football again and again, with absolutely no new pattern. The only change observed are the players but things will fall in place in due time for Erik Ten Hag who's also not relenting as he concentrates completely on a new team. The only mistake committed by Erik is making inappropriate signings and also having issues with players, which is regarded as a very bad behavior as headcoach.

Last season he went all the way in the four competitions he was involved in and won 1 and went to the knockout stages of 2 and then finish third in the league which was considered a success considering Manchester recent performances. This transfer window I would say I expected Erik Ten Hag to have gotten some better players to add to his squad but he didn’t, something that I wouldn’t want to blame him for but the management. The Glazers have always been a major problem to this Manchester United club since they bought it, they even got worse when Sir Alex left and this can be seeing by them rejecting a clear sale after a potential buyer bid an amount almost 2x the worth of the club’s valuation and they opted for a serial business partnership.

As for Ten Hag having issues with his players, definitely there is no manger that doesn’t have a problem with certain players regarding most especially the biggest ones in the squad. The problem with him is how he ousted them from the squad which in some way wasn’t professional but was certainly needed if he actually wants to control the dressing room

Ten Hag wanted the club to spend a lot of money. If he was actually able to bring in the very expensive players that he actually asked for, I have no doubt that Manchester United was going to end up as the club that spent the most in a season. And to be honest, some of the players wouldn't have been interested in coming to Manchester United just because of the recent performance.

And I also do not think that if he got those very expensive players in the squad, he would have been able to bring in good results. He did spend a lot of money still. The results are not there anyway.
