With just under half the games left to play this season, I think the next few matches will make it clear how serious Arsenal are, let's look at their consistency. But don't forget about Liverpool too, they are very strong now and will fight for sure, since they managed to secure the first place even in the middle of the season

The truth is that, this Season have not been the best season for Asernal unlike the last season when the club almost won the title of the premier league and was able to stay at the top of the league's point table for a very long time before the eventually lost it to Manchester city but still was able to finish the league within the top 5 club's but in the current season, Asernal have struggled to come close to the top 10 and within the top 5 but still yet have hard alot of missed matches which have affected the clubs performance for the entire period, then also e may still be optimistic that their going to change the face of things as time goes on and seeing that their position is gradually getting lost in this Season.

Gabriel Jesus and Nketkiah contributions can never be denied but I think last season when Jesus went for Injury, Nketkiah prove himself as a good center forward for Arsenal, even this season has been incredible result as well because he has 6 goals for the season while Jesus has 7 but priority is always given for Jesus to start matches. For example, their last match against Newcastle, they started Havertz and then later replace it with Nketkiah in 88 minutes, isn't that a bad balling.

The second leg is going to be a motivation for Arsenal seriousness, I think there is going to be a big battle, the losses they have had over the weeks is enough to do well and better. If Arteta is able to bring new players as the match progress, it is going to bring a lot of PR and will help to win matches. I just hope even if we don't take the first place in Premier League this season, we should be able to finish among the top 4.

Not letting this Opportunity bass them by is one thing I'm very sure Arsenal will want to do, because they are very much aware of how much this Three points can help them to regaining their confidence back and also helping their morale to getting back to their form which they were at the beginning of the season, crystal palace hasn't been really brilliant in their performance and for a team like Arsenal who has got a better squad dept, I'm expecting they will not be able to win them but at most a draw will be to the advantage of crystal palace as a point wouldn't help Arsenal that much.

Reading the penalties of FFP cases in the EPL, Everton should be ready for a second punishment, and maybe Nottingham Forest too. But the Man City case has no new news that I have received. It seems slow, but apparently the hearing schedule has been set. Maybe even the 114 cases charged make the investigation more complicated. This is the talk of the EPL because Everton could get a second punishment after being deducted 10 points. Everton in the second case was charged with violation of profitability rules.

The conversation now is not about a violation of the FFP from UEFA, but a violation of the rules of profitability and sustainable development from the Premier League. But the essence does not change. If Arteta continues to improve his team, I believe Arsenal still has a chance to move to the top.

It will be very difficult for Arsenal to get back to the first position in the standings. I have noticed this with Arsenal since last season, when they were very good, but at the end they didn’t perform well when the season was about to end. However, as of this season, seriously, I don’t think Arsenal's performance will decline to this extent. They are currently, because how can  a team topping the standings at the start of the season and coming back to the top 4, which is a very bad result for them. I also thought they would manage to be the favourites this season due to the way they started the season, but in the end, they failed to do that. However, I think what happened to Arsenal last season will still happen this season they won’t top the standings again.

It's rumored that Karim Benzema will go to England. Benzema said Saudi Arabia is not a place for me. He scored 12 goals and made 5 assists in 20 matches, and his performance was quite good there. But he wants to return to Europe again. Benzema, who earns an annual salary of more than $100 million in Saudi Arabia, showed that money is not everything.

I am not surprised why Arsenal will lose their place in the top 4 of the standings following the poor way they ended the match. So far Arsenal have collected 40 points in 21 matches, 4 of which were losses and draws. Of course Arteta needs to think of a solution so that Arsenal can compete closely at the top and try to win the title, but I think they still have a chance to do that.

Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa and Arsenal are the 4 teams currently in the race for the title. Liverpool and Manchester City are more likely to end the season as title winners, but I wouldn't discount the chances of two other teams as well like Arsenal and Aston Villa. Currently, Arsenal is preparing themselves and their team to host Crystal Palace tomorrow, 3 points are very important.

I think arsenal are responsible for the outcome of their present ordeal and should rather look for a possible solution, you can't possibly loose out of the title race twice in two seasons after taking the lead for a long time, I think Mikel arteta should make some changes in his team and also see how he can strengthen his defensive line up, earlier this season they looked like a side that was ready to do the unthinkable but right now they look like a ship that has lost her way on the ocean, Mikel arteta seem to be preparing a team for only the first half of the season instead of the whole season that's why the same thing keeps reoccurring over and over, that I would advocate for him to get a second eleven or engage the rotation policy so he can preserve some players for important matches.

Arsenal need to move right now, I'm still not sure exactly what they will bring in this match but Aston Villa has just flipped them and now in 3rd place in the table while Arsenal are in the fourth place but if they win Crystal Palace, they will safely take back their place back else Tottenham might first them get that position quickly and it only makes it hard to return again.

There is no need to be pessimistic. Arsenal had a very good first half of the league, only stumbled in the last 3 games and looked like falling behind. But the points difference with the leader is only 5, a gap that can be closed very quickly. They need to add in this transfer window. Arteta also wants a bigger squad. Rotation players should be more solid. If they don't have good players to make moves when the game is stagnating, they can't unlock. It would be great if Benzema comes, but even if he doesn't, they need a good goalscorer. They don't have a player who scores 10 goals. That alone shows that they don't have a reliable goalscorer. Jesus needs to be given more time, he's just coming into his own. Ivan Toney is returning to football and has been linked with Arsenal. I'm not sure what a player who hasn't played for so long can do at Arsenal. Despite the cost, Benzema would definitely be a better option for them.

We are currently underestimating Arsenal, so what if they end up being the team to win the Premier League this season? I still have hope that Arsenal will win the Premier League title since they only need six points to pass Liverpool for the top spot. If they win the league this season, I won't be surprised at all because they are strong of doing it.

It will be a disaster if Everton were to get another points deduction this season, they have already been deducted of 10 points this season, another points deduction would definitely confirm their relegation from the EPL, we'll see what happens with Forest too and if they can defend their case.

True but since EPL can prove it then the better thing for everton to accept the guilty caused by it doesn't even matter how many times everton tried to take an appeal against it and i think the result will always be the same that if everton's point will be deducted.
Glad to hear that everton will not be the only one in this case. Nottingham forest has been also getting the same thing as everton. Im still wondering how much points sanctioned to the both of clubs. It's still remain unclear till this time.

City's case is somewhat different and that is why it is taking so long and the hearing will begin very soon, but i am pretty sure that City would put everything in defending themselves, because if they are found guilty they'll definitely get a heavier sanction than what Everton got.

But more than 100 charges were a lot and im not really sure if city would be leaving from all the cases. so many teams are raising city as become the main concern. It's still in the hearing and we will know what explanations gonna be given by city's representative.
I think that deduction points will be happened for the upcoming year and it's not for this year. Manchester city must have prepared for the worst scenario. The world is watching it.

Not only Benzema. A hand of stars moved to Saudi Arabia want to leave including Henderson and Firminho. It's the beginning of the end of the big Saudi football plans. The only thing the leauge offers is money. What it doesn't offer is quality, spectators (at many games in the first Saudi league there aren't even 1000 spectators in the stadium) and quality of life. Firminiho recently stated that they wanted him to eat with the left hand instead of with a knife and fork.
I think all the players who still have the quality will play in Europe again, even if only as supplementary players.

Until now Arsenal are still in the top 4 although indeed the performance is still not safe and they still have problems in terms of points but they still survive in the top 4 so far.
I don't think they will be too active for transfers because in the end for now even though they will definitely make movements towards player transfers but they will not be as active when transferring in the summer.
The reason is actually quite clear because we know that they are now aware that sometimes not everything has to be done with new players and currently Arsenal are still very well known as one of the most wasteful clubs in the EPL so for this January transfer they will definitely be more restrained.

It would be better if they maximise the situation by restoring the spirit of their young players who are currently a little eroded and look very lacklustre and Arteta's job now before their schedule gets busier is to do just that.

Their next match will be against Crystal Palace. Let’s see if Arsenal will be able to win them in their next match. I'm surprised to see Arsenal struggling to win their premier league matches. The 2-1 away defeat from Fulham was Arsenal's second consecutive defeat in the league. I will not say that Arsenal is out of the title race because the point difference between Liverpool and Arsenal is just 5 points and Arsenal might close the gap if they can win against Crystal Palace.
