I just wrote that Tottenham does not want to catch up with Aston Villa (since after the first half the score was 1-0 in favor of Brentford), but in the first 5 minutes of the second half everything turned upside down and the score was already 2-1.
I managed to notice that before the start of the second half the odds for Tottenham to win were 3.3 and now they are 1.23 - an impressive turnaround. And it’s also funny that it took Johnson 4 minutes to enter the field and score a goal - the coach made a good substitution.

It's now 3-2 and the second half changes everything but there's still time left, I think Tottenham can still hold on to the score until the end - the remaining 20 minutes of the game are still dominated by Tottenham.

Odds of 3.3 are big but before the second half Tottenham's situation was still losing, maybe many bettors doubted it, if the prediction was not wrong, I should take that opportunity but I don't like to start betting halfway through the match.

Like if the score is 3-3 maybe Tottenham's odds can rise above 2 again.

Tottenham has already gone above Aston Villa if the match ended like this, as they are already winning 3-2, but if they were not serious in defending their box, Ivan Toney will add more goals to them because Brantford looks very serious in attack after getting their second goal. It is too easy for Manchester City to win its home game tonight. Manchester City dominated everything over Burnley and so far Manchester City have a 2-0 lead over their visitors. De Bruyne and Nunez provided assists for Julian Alvarez's two goals, but considering Manchester City's game was too open, they also had the possibility of conceding.

Today Pep Guardiola probably wouldn't take a big risk to play Haaland. This is an easy match for Manchester City and there is a big possibility that Manchester City can win this match with more goals. I think Haaland needs to get minutes in this match, but this decision is really difficult considering Haaland has just recovered from a long injury.

There is actually no need to risk Erling Haaland in this match anymore because it looks like they have already won the match because Burnley did not look like they wanted to level the score as they were not making too much effort in the game. Pep can still play him if he wants to keep fit for another match; playing him for like fifteen minutes will not be bad for him to prepare for the next match.

Liverpool are now leading 1-0 against  Chelsea. Liverpool took the lead from Diogo Jota's goal. The  interesting thing is that in 35 minutes, Liverpool's players have made 12 shots, on the other hand, Chelsea's players  have yet to make a single shot.

Liverpool is becoming a nightmare to Chelsea, actually it really seems that the absence of Mohammed Salah is not really affecting the performance of Liverpool because they have not really shown any weakness but instead they have been very consistent since Mohammed Salah sustain  the injury, however Chelsea performance has just been the same since the beginning of the season till now no improvement, perhaps if Liverpool could trouble them this much on the absence of Mohammed Salah what if Mohammed Salah would have been on this match that means Liverpool would have scored more than 4 goals by now, however with the look of things Liverpool may likely score more goals on the second half.

One of the teams that is giving me concern is Arsenal, I was one of those who was dazzled by Mikel Arteta’s brilliance since he became manager of the club. They had a great last season, they looked more confident and took their chances. At this time last season, Arsenal were top of the table and their fans were sure of winning the league title. Now, all they are fighting for is top four position. I do not what they caused them to drop off, IMO with all the competitions Manchester City are playing, this is the season other teams have a good chance of winning the league title.

The pressure is too much for Chelsea who couldn't withstand it and it has led to 2 goals and a penalty kick that was missed by Darwin Nunez it would have been 3:0 in favour of Liverpool. The only surprising thing I can see is that Liverpool may likely get more goals in the second half if Chelsea coach doesn't work on their defense.

Despite the fact the Darwin Nunez was unable to convert a penalty kick which is supposed to place the Liverpool side at the invincible mood. Liverpool had enjoyed consistency throughout the first half as against the unstable Chelsea side. Chelsea which has been playing as if they have began to return to the good old days is unlucky to meet the side whose coach wants to give an English premier League title before leaving the club at the end of the season.

I don't think Chelsea will be able to pose a threat even in the second half of this game, because is as if Liverpool have conquered the entire midfield and mountain the pressure more on the Chelsea defenders especially in the goal mouth, a good example is the penalty awarded to Liverpool, though it was missed but hasn't changed the fact that Liverpool are in charge of these game. Tactically the Chelsea midfield and attacking force are not creating any impact on the game thereby making Liverpool play them half field, the ball is always on the side of Chelsea's end and is not good for the optics.
Mauricio pochettino needs to come up with the tactical idea on how to bounce back into this game because given the way things are, it not looking well for the blues.

The first half of the English Premier League game between Liverpool and Chelsea is over and Liverpool have convincingly been the best team on the pitch tonight and I don't think the visitors have a chance of coming back into this game. Diogo Jota have simply been the best player on the pitch as he was the one who opened the scoreline after his energetic run into the 18 yard box of Chelsea.

Liverpool would have been three goals up before halftime if Darwin Nunez have converted from the spot but he failed to score after sending the goalkeeper the wrong way. It's a very entertaining match for Liverpool fans in the stands and hopefully, they're gonna get all three points from the game.

Chelsea also got more yellow cards in the first half they seemed to play with emotion because Liverpool continued to attack Chelsea again, so the statistical difference is far from the shot the difference is far, I might be able to believe Chelsea scored one goal but Liverpool could add more goals in the second half, I think the score is above 3 goals.

Chelsea faith and place in the table is like a forever 10th place, it's like the more they struggle to live that place the more the place have them. I think they should just manage that place until the end of the season to come back next season, I don't think they are going to do much because even the manager didn't buy any player and the transfer window closes in the next few hours.

Losing 2 goals in the first 2 minutes made Brighton's spirit falter and honestly they seemed to be down in this match when they were 2 goals behind very quickly.
TBH i didn't expect this from them because after all, even though their performance this season is not as good as before but I expected more from them in this match but the results were quite disappointing.
Currently the score is 3-0 to Luton advantage and i think its over for Brighton in this match because seeing from the game they are doing now, it looks like they don't have good motivation to continue the match and Luton is playing without burden now.
This is really bad and I'm not too happy about it.

I have no idea what is going on in the Premier League today, but this is quite exceptional. Aston Villa being two goals down in a spectacular way and Luton is destroying Brighton. This is probably two records at the same time or something. The highest win at home for Luton Town I guess and who knows where this game is heading, but it is certainly one of the most devastating defeats that Brighton had to swallow. If I had placed any bets this round, I would be totally lost by now. Even if it is still Newcastle, I didn't think they would take Aston Villa by storm in the first half.

But thats whats interesting because with some of the results that i think are unexpected such as the results of Brighton and Aston Villa this week prove that the EPL is not an easy place and once they get it wrong and determine the strategy in a match then it will definitely be very bad for the performance.
This week there were some unexpected and unexpected events that i didnt expect because it did interfere with the bet i made but the positive side is that this is a competition that cannot be predicted by looking at performance alone because in the end it can trap ourselve in the gambling that we do, So weve to be more selective and careful not to be fixated on the odds in the match because event like this can possibly happen at any time.

The reason why a big club like Chelsea cannot defend Liverpool to a draw is what I don't understand.Chelsea is totally a dead team compared to the Chelsea before when they used to be one of the strongest teams in Europe.They are giving Liverpool a free three points,and even if they will say it was a strong team that defeated them,it is bad that they will concede two goals in less than no time like that.With this win over Chelsea,it will be an added mumentum when they play against Arsenal next weakend,in a game Arsenal will termed a must win if they are to still have a chance in the premier league tittle,while Liverpool will make it a must win because they won't want Arsenal to win them and be in a position to snatch the tittle from their finger just like that.

I wouldn't say Aston Villa  lost unfortunately. The performance of Newcastle's players was good enough, and they deserved to win.

The performance of Aston Villa's  attacking players is quite poor right now. In the last 7 matches, Aston Villa managed to perform better only against Burnley. Villa's players performed poorly in the rest of the matches. Scored goalless draws against Chelsea and Everton. Villa team could not win against Chelsea in FA Cup match. And in the Premier League match, they lost 3-1 against Newcastle. However, if such performance does not improve, Aston Villa will not be able to be in the top four of the table. Villa are now just 3 points ahead of Tottenham.

But whatever it is, of course the end result is that they lose points and that is what becomes a big problem if Aston villa is really unstable in their performance lately. Well, the balance of a team sometimes decreases and this is what is happening with the Aston villa team currently where they have lost a lot of points in their last 5 matches in the Premier League. I admit that they previously performed quite well and even easily beat their opponents, but when their players are not in their best form, it will be difficult for them to win even if their opponents are not in good enough condition like Newcastle united.

So, they have to focus on what they need to improve in order to get points again in the next match. For Aston villa, they have a greater chance of remaining in the top 4 so they must be able to fix the weak gaps in the team in the upcoming match. Well, in the upcoming match when they face Sheffield united, Aston villa must be able to work to get points again.

I don't think it is an exciting match because Liverpool played too dominant in the first half. Liverpool could make 15 shots, Chelsea only made 1 shots during the first half. Liverpool also won the ball possession quite convincingly. I don't see it is a big match, but it is like Liverpool against a mediocre team. Chelsea gets difficulty to attack Liverpool because they have no strong attackers. Chelsea can't rely on Palmer only, it is too easy for Man City defenders to focus on stopping 1 Chelsea attacker.

Now, I see Chelsea has changed some players. Mudryk and NkunKu have replaced Gallager and Madueke. I think it is a good change, I even think these players must be on the starting lineup. I don't know why Chelsea prefer to play more defensively during the first half. Now, it is not easy to equalize the score because Chelsea is conceded 2 goals.

You're right, Enzo Fernandez gets frustrated. He doesn't have good partners in the midfield line. Chelsea midfielders look to have bad quality, Caicedo still can't play as expected.

Liverpool missed the championship by 1 point two years ago, but I think they will be champions this year.

Tonight game will be a tough game that will make many people to lost their bet because Chelsea will do something they have never done before since the beginning of this tournament and, this is the second leg and Chelsea will not allow what happened in the first leg to happen in this second leg.

Well are you surprised? It's no new thing that this club obviously needs an extraordinary force to actually move them back to their winning and former standard. The problem all started with their former owner leaving the club, well actually he was forced to sell it due to penalty given to all Vladimir Putin associates as punished for him not obeying the instructions and regulations of NATO and UN prior to the Russia and Ukrainian war massacre. Chelsea is just so inconsistent while Liverpool on the other hand is quite different.

Darwin Nunez disappointed me again today - he missed a great opportunity to add to his goals record this season. Of course - Darwin has scored 7 goals and 6 assists so far, but that doesn't compare to expectations. He has great potential to become one of the most dangerous strikers - but the way he takes advantage of every chance is not yet a match for some of the other top strikers like Haaland.

2-0 ahead of Chelsea at the moment is certainly fine - but Chelsea are also dangerous with all their players' abilities. I hope Klopp can instruct his players to finish the match with a clean sheet - that would be a good record for Liverpool.
