Hopefully Man United won't play that bad when the season starts. And actually in the pre-season match against Rosenborg we saw that Man United did not play with their best squad completely because in that match Man United also gave the young players the opportunity to play. So I really understand these results. But if ten Hag is able to make a good strategy then even with young players he should be able to show a better game than that.

Also, I don't know why you all are taking pre-season results too seriously. It is common for games like this to end in draws or defeats, since they are not playing a full-strength XI. Rather, the objective is for the manager to figure out what tactics will work and not work at the beginning of the season, and which players he should use for that.

Same thing i thought too, the philosophy of Ten Hag will not change anything at Old Trafford that’s if he even has one because since the beginning of his time we have not noticed anything different and it even seem like their performance is depreciating every year. He doesn’t seem to be teaching the players anything and the same thing is still happening at the pre season games.

Preseason games are meant to workout the best strategy and best players to use ahead of next season and so preseason games are not to be taken seriously as some strategy will fail but Ten Hag should be trying things out with more experienced players instead of trying out a whole bunch of youngsters who still need time to develop. It’s not bad to give youngsters chance but you shouldn’t rely fully on them so they can learn from older players.

what do you expect a coach that saud he will be fighting for fourth position this season,  don't expect anything from him he will still cause more problems in the dressing room, I dislike him,he's not fit to manage a club like Manchester United, have not seen any good players he has brought to the squad this season. I'll be be watching more of Real Madrid matches and Alnassr this season.

I second this, but i don't think Ten Hag is the sole problem, even if Manchester United had fired Erik Ten Hag and employed a new manager, i would not still have high hopes for them next season. There is quite a lot of things wrong at the club, though they have started fixing some of it, particularly from their hierarchy, there've been good appointments lately and with Sir Jim Ratckliffe now a part of the club, there could be some progress for them next season.

Do you guys watch this game? I watched it, and yeah, Ten Hag's team needs time to build their chemistry. The result wasn't bad. But, they were against a mediocre team. It's part of Ten Hag's process of rebuilding his club. And absolutely nothing wrong with this result achieved by Manchester United in this game. The first and youth team squads needed minutes, and that’s all. United played so damn well in the first half, but the second half was boring enough to watch. I can still understand it. This is the first pre-season game, and I shouldn't have big expectations for Manchester United.

Glad to see Ten Hag is trying to give minutes to so many young players of Manchester United. It seems Ten Hag is trying to identify which young player will be able to step up into the main team. I consider this game is about a fitness for all young players of Manchester United. Vitek showed whether he is worthy enough to be considered. I actually did not watch the game but going by your analysis of the game, I actually do not see any difference from Erik ten Hag. I'll try and see the highlights of the game later so I can have the visual knowledge of the game. The talk about giving young stars of the club minutes to play is not something new when it comes to preseason games if you ask me because that's what most managers do in other to know the young players in the team that are worthy to play first team football.
Rosenborg though isn't a bad club in terms of performance as they're the most successful Norwegian club but against a club like Manchester United who happens to get the record winner of the English Premier League title, losing against Rosenburg I think is a bad result.

It looks like Manchester United's center back duo will be eagerly awaited and with the arrival of Leny Yoro they should be able to increase the strength of their defensive line to become even stronger. There was Lisandro Martinez who was known to be very fierce even though his body was not very tall, but his anticipatory instincts were always mature and he always did not hesitate when dueling with opponents who were bigger than him.

I think Erik Ten Hag has found the right formula with the arrival of Leny Yoro and Manchester United should not be in trouble next season. In the friendly match played by Tottenham against Hearts, Son and his friends managed to win with a fairly landslide score in the match. I was quite impressed with Tottenham in this match, because the game shown by the Tottenham players was very good in that match. Even the new players brought in by Tottenham, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall, also played in this match, and the two new players showed very good performances. Lucas Bergvall was even able to provide one assist for Tottenham in that match. So by looking at the composition of players and also the strategy that Tottenham currently has, I am sure that Tottenham can definitely become a tough competitor in the Premier League next season. Because I see that Tottenham's defense, midfield and front line are currently arguably better than last season. So with these facts, I predict that Tottenham will most likely be a team capable of competing in the top 3 of the Premier League.

And the Tottenham players who scored goals in this match were

I am glad to see these Totenham young players. They showed amazing skill in their first pre-season game. That's a result they deserved. Hearts was not strong enough to fight Tottenham. But, I really appreciate their performance. It seems Tottenham has very good young players as a part of their regeneration process.

Still, this Swedish boy (Lucas Bergvall) is my favourite, though he has not scored in this game. Bergvall's performance is so amazing in this game. He was showing an unbelievable performance. It was his debut with Totenham in this pre-season match. He was really versatile, and he is also able to play defensively too.

This is what Ange wanted from him, a versatile midfielder who is also good at playing defense. A complete package to be the future of Totenham's midfielder.

Unfortunately Son did not score a goal in this match, and I hope that in the next friendly match Son can score goals again.

That's bad for him, but it's time for young players to shine. But, I really appreciate how he gave young players a chance to prove their worth. He was a senior player, and he has done his job in the pre-season game.

Besides it would be too much if anyone took friendly matches seriously. Winning or losing won't have any impact, so I'm not interested in watching it and Manchester United is still in the adjustment stage, Erik Ten Hag also seems to want to experiment. Actually for now, sacking Ten Hag or letting him stay at Manchester United for at least 1 more season, both options have their own risks.

When Manchester United choose to replace Ten Hag, they will be new again where the club will definitely have to find a new coach and with the transition and re-adaptation, it will also not guarantee Manchester United to change quickly. But keeping Ten Hag for the time being is a risk, especially given his authoritarian attitude, which could result in the same situation as previous seasons.

Currently Man United are trying to change their squad by bringing in several players this is something Erik Ten Hag is doing to start the upcoming season, I don't expect so bad we will now judge like the previous season because of poor performance while to see this team we have to see the match later after the Premier League starts.

United's problem last season was so complex, the whole team needs to be improved, not only by having new players but strategy, mentality, and teamwork need to be improved alot.
Will they become better next season? I will not expect too much because even if they are improving their squad by getting new players I'm sure there is no instant effects.
If I have to predict. they will be still struggling hard next season just to be back on top 4 at the end of the next season.
They can get less loses next season compared to last season will be more than enough if you ask me, but of course I want to see them to be more competitive to make the whole league become more interesting to follow.

Pre-season games usually don't have any motivation for the top clubs to win the game. Yes, I agree that in this match both teams gave one hundred percent of their abilities. But this is not the first time a top team from the English league has lost to a mediocre team. I think Manchester United really made this a game to test a lot of different tactics. Rosenborg scored a goal late in the game so I think both teams played very well. But a defeat is still a defeat and Ten Hag also said that this was not the performance United should have.

As far as I Know, most big teams don't finding motivation in such preseason game's as this could bring injuries to star player's which could cost them big but it's also a great opportunity to try out new signins and new tactics for  managers if they choose to make good from this!

As of the loss, I had to look at which senior players featured for Manchester United and I can confidently  report that very few of Uniteds big names featured here and we shouldn't put much pressure on them as the result is on the youngsters who failed to deliver a win for lack of team chemistry, but come August ,Utd will not have excuses for failing to deliver wins as the league will be in full swing!!

The new season is by the corner and we might see something different or similar to what happened when Manchester City won the league with Arsenal struggling to get the EPL title and it got me wondering if Arteta can be classified as a failure for losing the chances of becoming Champions with the Gunners two time in a row? We know the Gunners was this close to snatch the title against the Citizens last season. To me last season was the best Arteta and the Arsenal boys have gone to battle with the Citizens and Pep wasn't too calm last campaign because the pressure of losing the title to Arsenal was too much but we know how it ended with some silly mistakes Arsenal made when they started losing games they were suppose to win that caused them the chances of winning the league.
So I'll ask because is still getting me worried about the Arsenal manager (Arteta), some fans will say he tried but trying isn't a trophy to me, is Arteta a failure to the Arsenal fans or he should be celebrated for trying to win the league title two times in a row?

I also don’t believe in Ten Hag, he is not consistent in his performances and he do have internal problems with players which is not a sign of a good manager.
Last season, Manchester United’s performance was good in the beginning of the season, but towards the end of the season due to some wrong decisions, the team performance went down due to injuries as well, but with all the money spent to sign the wrong players in the team, I think they should have signed better players that will bring progress to the team, but Ten Hag prefer to sign his former players which the Premier League style of play has became difficult for them to adapt.

If Ten Hag didn’t perform well next season, I will suggest he should be sacked before the end of the season so that the team can get a better coach that brings glory back to Old Trafford.

I will also say that Ten Hag is not a good coach based on his record at Manchester United. Honestly, his performance is getting worse season by season. If it were not for Manchester United being lucky to win the FA Cup and even the Europa League, they would not have qualified for it. With the set of quality players that Ten Hag has under him, I don't expect these kinds of performances from him. The truth is not that Manchester United lacks quality players, but that Ten Hag does not know how to manage them. If Ten Hag were the type who knew how to manage players, Manchester United would always be competing with teams like Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool.

Many of the players that Ten Hag have signed and they are not performing as expected are quality players who were doing so well in their former teams and played beyond our expectations they was there. However, due to Ten Hag's mismanagement, many of them have declined since signing for Manchester United. If Ten Hag can change and stop having internal problems with his players, it will really help his career.

Ten Hag was not the only problem with Manchester United declining performance last season, but he was one of several sources that caused Manchester United to have difficulty competing in the EPL. Ten Hag will start the new season with the trust of management, he should have been fired due to his inability to improve Manchester United performance, but the FA Cup Trophy has saved him from the worst possibility in his career.
There is a lot that needs to be improved to improve Manchester United's performance again, the coach's strategy and approach to the players is absolutely necessary to maintain the unity of the players. In my opinion, this is the last chance for Ten Hag, if he fails to bring Manchester United to a better position, then Manchester United management will not hesitate to fire him.

Last season was quite an impressive season for Arsenal and Arteta because their were just one step away from becoming champions before inconsistency befell them at the end of the season, I think currently Arsenal are still in the process of becoming champions after previously they were only competing for a top four position in the league, but the arrival of Arteta who managed to change the philosophy and also improve the mentality of Arsenal players and made Arsenal in the last two seasons a contender Champions with manchester city, maybe some of us will still consider Arteta as a loser because he did not end the season with a trophy, but didn't Manchester City when Guardiola came also not immediately get the championship trophy in his first season coaching?
What happens to Guardiola certainly also happens to Arteta at the moment where he still needs time to make Arsenal better and can also get the Premier League trophy after more than 20 years of fasting for the title, Guardiola won the Premier League trophy in his second season but as we know if his job was easier at that time with the financial support owned by Manchester City, while Arsenal I don't think they have as good finances as Manchester City for support arteta job.

Manchester United must make improvements in almost all positions, from the back line, midfield and front line. Their back line still made a lot of mistakes which ultimately resulted in them having to be punished with a goal, their midline was not working optimally which meant that the balance between the back line and the front line could not work optimally. On the front line, they still have several problems, especially when they experience a deadlock when attacking.
This is a big job, interestingly they still have it after they have been with the coach for 2 seasons. it should no longer be seen in their team. Having some weaknesses may still be considered something normal, but what they have are weaknesses in almost all positions.

Ten Hag isn't the whole problem here. He's got that strict drill sergeant vibe, doesn't quite fit the United way, and that can mess with the players' heads. But getting rid of him isn't a magic solution either. New manager, new chaos, and we all know how that song and dance goes at Old Trafford. Fresh blood could bring fresh ideas, maybe shake up the squad a bit. But we've seen this movie before. New guy comes in, promises the world, then we're back to square one. United needs a plan, man. Not just a manager, but a damn vision. Build up that youth academy, make some smart buys, and for God's sake, stop throwing money at big names who don't give a damn about the badge. It's about time the Glazers (and even this Ratcliffe guy) understand that
