Currently only Palmer is the best purchase in the last 2 seasons because the rest I think no one can really be said to be stable until now. Hopefully, there will be a new initiative for Chelsea although looking at what they did in the current friendlies it is still difficult to expect Chelsea to change quickly in terms of performance.

I agree with you. In the last two seasons Chelsea have spent more than a billion euros on player purchases and the only successful purchase is Cole Palmer. It can be said that Chelsea have bought Palmer worth hundreds of millions of euros because many other players have become their failed purchases. Their pre-season match results are not so good. But like other pre-season matches we can't see the results as a reference for the strength of each team when the season starts. But it seems that Chelsea do have problems in their squad. Enzo Maresca must be able to find the team's weaknesses to get a solid tactic.

Chelsea played poorly in the pre-season games. The match against City showed Chelsea's weak defense and poor form. These are their main problems.
They never really replaced Thiago Silva and Rüdiger. Signing an elite CB needs to be their priority this window; none of the ones they have are good enough.

Also, Chelsea conceded four goals against Manchester City. This was due to their failure to transition back to defense after losing the ball in the buildup. This is a drawback of the inverted fullback system.

I never expected the deal to work out for both teams. Arsenal has the money to pay after selling two players and loaning out one. How will Arteta think that getting Isak this summer will be done, without Isak Eddie forward play won't work as it did last season. if Eddie agrees to the deal who will score their goals. But wait what did Arteta need again when he had Kai Harvers, and Gabriel Jesus on his forward line, is it that they are not capable of scoring the goals he needed?

Man UTD are making things hard for them ahead of next season with how they are going about their preparation I don't see any reason why ETH should be thinking of playing either Sancho (seems they're on the same page now) as a false 9 or Bruno Fernandes, like what is he thinking? The squad is facing some little injury crisis but that doesn't stop him from going back to the market to get a back up striker since the guys he had hope on are out due to injury and a new striker can be of great importance to the team.
I used to remember back then when UTD have about 3 strikers in one team without any confusion on who to start ahead of who but now the club is just scared of spending to save the image of the team, look at Arsenal it was lack of goals that cost them the title and the Red Devils are still not getting it while the ball is in their court to make things better next season. Seeing that Arsenal have finally given up in their chase Aleksander Isak I don't think is good news to the supporters of the north London club considering their performance of last season and how they seriously need a sharp like Isak complete their near perfect team. I understand that Arsenal do not want to overprice Newcastle for the services of Isak but I think it would've been better for them to table a high fee that would've helped convince Newcastle to let go of their striker. Newcastle only found their bearing last two season and they have being in a good performance due to the commitment of the players and the coach. The club is trying to build a strong team and we saw how they were able to qualify to UCL last two seasons.

I don't see any reason why Newcastle will sell Isak, a brilliant attack with great potentials and when he is on the field he contributes tirelessly to add impact on the match. Newcastle is a rich club and I don't think that they have plans of selling any of their main man because they also want to win the title and selling Isak will not be the best for them.

Of course Alexander Isak's performance has improved tremendously, he is one of the major player that has helped contributed to the growth of Newcastle, so somebody like that, I doubt Newcastle will easily let go of him. However arsenal are not serious in looking for Sharp striker, if you want a top 9 that has great caliber, they need to break the Bank and get out good money for transfer window.

Mikel arteta needs to understand that he doesn't need to manage a bad situations, the arsenal team doesn't have much problems, except for a regular scoring striker, so the arsenal Board need to come to the realization that, releasing good money will certainly get a good catch in the market,  the transfer window is still open so there is still ample time, arsenal should make hay while the sun is still shining.

Chelsea's performance against Manchester City was poor, the attackers did well, but the defense was very weak, if a team concedes more than it scores, it's absolutely nothing because they can't get any points in their games. So, despite all of the players Chelsea has signed, they can still concede many goals in their games. If Chelsea continues to perform like this next season, they cannot finish among the top four Premier League teams.

Joshua Zirkzee is a good enough player. But will he be a worthy replacement for Hojlund? I don't think so. Joshua Zirkzee played last season at Bologna. Adapting to the Premier League is a bit time-consuming. It is unlikely that he will fit into Manchester United's squad very quickly. But if Joshua Zirkzee can quickly adapt himself to Manchester United's players then he will surely become a worthy replacement for Hojlund.

At this stage, I believe we can only be concerned with adapting to the club, as some players struggle to get used to the Premier League in their first season. Joshua Zirkzee's stats for Bologna's previous season were not bad; he scored 12 goals in 37 appearances for Bologna. Despite the fact that the Premier League is difficult for some players, Hojlund managed to score 10 goals in the Premier League last season. If Zirkzee quickly gets used to the league and the club, I think he will be a perfect replacement for Hojlund.

There are still many weaknesses in Manchester United's squad. And I would say coach Ten Hag has yet to take the necessary steps to strengthen his squad. We don't see good performances from Manchester United players in friendly matches. I don't even see the possibility of this team doing well next season. Manchester United cannot be in the top four of the table.

The community shield does not really count for much, neither is it an indication of much as well, City can lose it and have an unbelievable season, meanwhile United can win it and have a dismal season.

In all the games except game with America game they have conceded two or more goals, but on the other hand it is very difficult to focus on defense when the coach makes almost a complete change of the squad during the game. I think that friendlies should not be taken too seriously in assessing the team and the players' form, but the general opinion about the team can be obtained, and so far I am not very happy with the way Maresca has transformed Chelsea. Now there are rumors that they may let Gallagher go to Atletico, in my opinion this is bad news for Chelsea...

Last season, Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah both disappointed in the striker role. The choice of Kai Havertz is only effective in terms of playmaking ability because the former Chelsea star is not good at finishing. Therefore, this summer, Arsenal aims to bring in a world-class striker. But the obvious answer to the Alexander Isak deal is clear, Arsenal should give up on this deal.

Mikel Arteta could look for alternative options to strengthen his attack next season. Arsenal could make a return bid for Brentford's Ivan Toney. Napoli's Victor Osimhen and Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres I think are also quite reasonable for Arsenal.

Chelsea need to use the pre-season games to find a suitable strategy based on the players they currently have, the players also need to adapt to the style used by the new coach and some of the newly brought in players need to be tested while the pre-season is still ongoing. Enzo Maresca has a lot of work to do during pre-season, he has to be able to adapt the players to his playing style and choose the right players to fill the line up according to the strategy he uses.

Enzo Maresca must be able to prove his ability that he is worthy of handling Chelsea, this is still just pre-season, the real match will soon await him, so he needs to prepare the team thoroughly before the new season begins. I expect the same narrative as what happened last season. The narrative is about when Maresca will fail to deliver. Then, Todd is ready to fire him as head coach mid-season. Todd will then appoint an interim to fill the role temporarily.
This is pretty much the same as when Todd decided to sign back Lampard when Potter failed to deliver.

And so far I do not see that Maresca was able to attract any important players who would help the team achieve this, or any improvement in the game in friendly matches, everything remains the same. If Boehly wants to make Chelsea a top team, then he needs a top coach and very significant funds for transfers, these will be significant changes to the team, but without this I do not believe that Chelsea will be able to change anything.

About Chelsea rarely attracts top players to help the club. I think they have no interest in recruiting experienced players. And they have gone the opposite way when Chelsea is only recruiting young talent to join the squad. Imagine a team with no experienced players, and nothing to expect from Chelsea.
Chelsea had a top coach last season, and he started to deliver, but Todd fired him. Also, Chelsea has a large fund for the transfer season. But, the scouting team is a problem. Chelsea could never recruit a good player at a bargain price. Also, none of its transfers since Todd became chairman have been efficient.

I honestly can't understand Manchester United's management. They have a lot of money, they could sign the best players and they would be a strong team like Real Madrid or Manchester City, but they are worse than many teams that don't have the money Manchester United has. This shows that Manchester United's problem lies in the management and the coach. For this season, Manchester United's coach has two assistant coaches, but even so I haven't seen them making any major changes to the squad. They made some signings that in my opinion won't have a big impact this season.

Manchester United's forwards aren't doing well either. For example:

Marcus Rashford = played 3 friendly matches, but only scored 1 goal, which was a penalty.

Mason Mount = played 3 friendly games, but didn't score any goals

Jadon Sancho = played 3 friendly matches, but didn't score any goals

If Manchester United were a team that wanted to fight for the Premier League title and win European competitions, they would be signing great players from other leagues, for example they could have signed Victor Osimhen, if they offered the amount of money that Napoli wants or at least offered close to the amount that Napoli wants, then they would have Victor Osimhen, they could also have signed Viktor Gyokeres who is a good striker from Sporting. In the past Manchester United made good signings like Van Nistelrooy, Ronaldo... but in recent years Manchester United has been a team that does not have great players.

This is the first time Sevilla has faced Fulham and this match will be historic between the two clubs, The match will take place at the Estádio Algarve stadium. Sevilla have something to prove - over the last two seasons they have been thrown out of the list of serious clubs and apparently want to return there, so they will not lose without a fight to an ordinary club from the Premier League, for which the main task for the season is not to be eliminated to the Championship.

Smiled me when I heard about Manchester United. Their weaknesses are still visible there is no change even though lately Erik Ten Hag along with his asisten and Manchester United management is preparing the maturity of the squad to face the competition.

You are right that Manchester United coach Ten Hag has not taken any steps to strengthen the squad even though there are many weaknesses within the squad. At the same time, Hojlund's injury has weakened Manchester United's attack. Last season also we saw Manchester United's weak defense and weak attack. Ten Hag should have taken the necessary steps to strengthen Manchester United's defence. Manchester United needed to add talented and experienced defenders to the squad. If the defense is not strong, Manchester United will not be stable next season.

Also, without Hojlund in Manchester United's squad next season, the overall performance of Manchester United's attack will also be weak. So I don't expect much from this squad next season. Also, I don't see good performances from Manchester United players even in friendly matches.
