If the management at Chelsea has not learned the importance of being patient with coaches from last season's failure, then they learned nothing. Alonso is building this team from the scratch and he needs time to perfect his strategies, if they go ahead changing coaches like that this season, the result wouldn't be any different. I believe Alonso would make a difference, he's hired both experienced and talented players to lead the campaign. Again, citing that Chelsea is not playing any external league this season, it will help the team remain focused, rest better and get good results.

Any coach or manager that will do well in a team do not have to stay for a very long time before he will start manifesting, and the reason why Chelsea won't waste time to sack any manager that will not do well is because they do not have all the time in the world to be waiting for the manager to start doing great. Even if a manager is trying to build a team at least his wins should be a bit more than the loss and i am sure Chelsea would not have sacked any of those manager if their wins was more...

Arsenal are doing well and we will see if Mikel Arteta is the next Pep Guardiola, it will be difficult but anything is possible. It was normal for Pep to leave a lot of space and it's not easy to fill it, Maresca is a good coach but he still has a lot to prove, i hope for him that he won't be sacked straight away.
Any coach that is doing good can't be sack if Maresca didn't do well in this season he might be considered to finish another season again if the team couldn't get what they needed he will be sack but the truth is no coach that Manchester city will buy that will do half of what Guardiola did in Manchester city. Arteta has also build a good team with Arsenal and this actually took him time before he won the title with Arsenal.
Basically,, we don't know what will happen to Manchester City this season. Although Manchester City lost to Arsenal yesterday, that still doesn't mean Manchester City will perform poorly this season. Besides,, I don't think there's any need to discuss whether Maresca will be fired this season. As I said, the season has just begun, so we don't need to think too much about it. Although many of us underestimate Maresca,, it's understandable that he's having a bit of a hard time in his first season as Manchester City manager. He clearly needs time to execute all his plans well. So, nothing is instant in football; everything takes time and a process to become good. That's why I'm very sure that if Manchester City doesn't win the Premier League this season, I think if Manchester City is still able to finish in the top four, I think Maresca will definitely be safe.

It is not the signing that will determine but their performance on the pitch will tell us that,  Bruno Guimaraes in the midfielder and Christos Tzolis and two others those were the summer addition to the team. They are not bad but even the best will be known on the field. As Arsenal is signing players from other clubs, others teams are also signing. Chelsea now is massively signing players and that shows that there will be a tough competition in the next season. Arsenal team and Arsenal fans will experience different football tactics this time.
You understand football very well, although signing good players is part of the process, which is seen as a good move by any football club, but the output of the players is what matters ans what makes the team formidable, let me say this, Arsenal fans should wait for the league to start and run for atleast 2 months before they can start making conclusions, I don't know why they think that all other teams in the English premier League are under them, I wanted to say more things but you have helped me to finish it up, this seasons English premier League title might not be as easy as arsenal fans thinks that it will be for their club.

The result we saw against Arsenal in the carabao cup final wasn't a good one, man city has lost some special dignities in the team, pep Guardiola departure and Rodri moving to Barcelona will definitely have a side effects in the man city team and we have already seen on Sunday against Arsenal. It's going to take Enzo Maresca time for him to build his own team so what ever plan he has he should bring it up now as man city may not be patient to allow him stay if there is no positive results from the team.

Definitely not the best start for Maresca, but we must still understand that he arrives in a club that has remained with the same coach for ten years and that has built a personality based on him, on the team. With Maresca all this must start again and i hope that the players can give him what they gave to the last coach.

Arsenal are on the verge of finalizing a deal to sign Enzri Konsa from Aston Villa in an undisclosed fee.  It is reported the player has told Aston Villa he wants to go to Arsenal, and could be set to replace injured William Saliva who could be out for upto to two months or more.
This deal will be one of the best  deals Arsenal would do this Summer. Enzri Konsa is an aggressive defender that will definitely suit the profile of Arsenal, and if this deal can materialize, then Arsenal will again possess the best defense in England and even in Europe. All they need now is a winger and an attacker that can take on players  and score goals.

Arteta is still chasing his goals, while Pep Guardiola has already done it all by winning trophies at the highest level.Winning the EPL for the first time as a manager gave Arteta a massive boost. Now he’ll be gunning for bigger ones, especially the Champions League that slipped away from him last season.
Let’s be honest, the gap in experience and trophies is still massive. Comparing them right now isn’t even close to apples to apples. Arteta has time and a solid foundation to catch up. However, Pep is already at a level that most other coaches are striving to reach. Until Arteta actually wins the Champions League, this debate will always lean toward Pep Guardiola.
Why will anyone compare Pep and Arteta, aren't you seeing the big difference. Arteta is Pep boy that didn't finish learning from Pep before he left to Arsenal as their head coach and that's why you see that Pep always whip his ass whenever, City and Arsenal clashed. Pep even went as far as snatching the title from him twice before Arteta finally won it. Arteta is a baby when talking about Pep.
You are right that comparing Arteta with Pep Guardiola is never logical. You also said that Arteta is a child compared to Pep. And this is the most logical thing to say considering how much success he has brought to the team while being the manager of Man City and in comparison, Arteta's only success was winning the EPL title last season. Also, he has no record of winning major trophies yet this gentleman has been continuing the manager of Arsenal for 7 long years. And Pep Guardiola has achieved a lot in the last 10 years and he is a true legend.

At least let's give Enzo Maresca a lot of time to see how he's going to perform with Manchester City, this early attacks are not proper because this is just his first game and the kind of opponent they played against are no just ordinary team, so we should not put too much blame on him because the result was not his fault. Pep Guardiola is a great coach which we all know but I want you to understand that there was a time when things are not well for him and the management told behind him and also the fans, so the only thing Enzo Maresca need right now is the support and that will go a long way for him.

Despite pep Guardiola is not in charge I still respect Manchester City's performance because they have great players who are still capable in moving the team forward most especially they are striker. Haaland is still in better form and can do a lot for their team because that is what he does even in the World Cup.
I feel it’s not just about a first game and the kind of opponent they played, besides it wasn’t even a friendly match, it was a community shield. The Manchester City we used to know wouldn’t played really bad like that to even lose with that kind of goal margin. It’s quite obvious that Manchester City has lost quality players and haven’t gotten a balanced replacement for them, it’s definitely not going to be easy for Enzo Maresca because this very Manchester City is looking like Newcastle already.

The void of Rodri, Bernardo silver and kelvin deybrune is a serious one and it will take time to get over them until those void are filled Manchester City and Enzo Maresca will definitely not find it easy like they use to.

Manchester City doesn't look competitive anymore if you ask me because this is no longer the formidable Manchester City under Pep Guardiola. Alot changed and we knew exactly the problem of the team. Enzo Maresca first professional match in charge as Manchester City headcoach, He was humiliated by Mikel Arteta and Arsenal in the community shield final. This is not just the proper way to enchance a team like Manchester City, there are what we called standards and the only way to kick off is get prepared and know exactly what you're doing. Does Enzo Maresca seem to know what he is doing?

Manchester City still have a formidable squad and Enzo Maresca  has got what it takes to atleast maintain them, his stint at Chelsea wasn’t all that bad, he won titles and played good games… he just had a problem of staying consistent.
Arsenal are still the best team in the premier league, a lose against them is not a big deal.

When comparing managers, Guardiola is clearly ahead. Considering his achievements, it might take Arteta ten years to even come close. That's why Guardiola left England with his successes, and I think he's the best manager England has ever seen. Thinking about what he achieved with Manchester City makes me think this again. Arteta led Arsenal to the championship at the end of last season, but he's still lacking a lot of success to reach Guardiola's level.

Mikel Arteta is doing pretty good for a manager his age and considering how this is only the start to his coaching career. Remember that Arteta was an assistant coach under Guardiola from 2016-2019 so he definitely had a lot to learn from the coaching legend.

Arteta would be dominating the Premier league now, especially after the exit of Guardiola who has being the main opposition for the league title. He still has a long way to go in comparison with coach Guardiola but I believe he would perform better in the coming seasons.
Arteta will definitely perform well in the coming seasons now doubt, and what has helped him to this extent is the fact that he was given the right support he needed to grow and develop the team in the right way which several teams don't have. it took him a while to get to where he is now and he was able to be consistent and continue till he was able to get here. He deserves a lot of applause for that consistency in improving the team and also improving in working on their weaknesses every season. Several teams in the premier league are still a challenge to Arteta, Pep Guardiola to me, is just the major opponent to him but we have other teams that are improving every season to play their best. Just that, he will need to also not relent and continue to improve the team to be better and stronger.

Every football fans want their team to have good players and every teammates want good players to be with. But those good players might encounter another players that good which will give them tough time to penetrate or even score goals. And there three major areas need good players. The goalkeeper, the defend, and the midfield so the area the players are signed to also important. And the .ot effective area among the three I mentioned is the defense. If the defense is good then, the striker will be happy because ball will reach him always. Therefore the striker is to prepare himself and score. Yes as you said, Arsenal should observe themselves for the first two to three months before saying that every team is under them.

Pep Guardiola has won numerous trophies, while Arteta is still building his managerial career and needs more time to reach Pep's level.
Arteta needs to build a strong setup so that in future seasons, he can deliver more titles for Arsenal especially the Champions League.

That’s right, his work at Chelsea wasn’t bad, but it really wasn’t good enough for Chelsea to make significant progress and compete for the Premier League title, that’s why he was sacked. There’s no need to make a tragedy out of one match, Maresca still has an entire season ahead of him, and I think City’s management will give him time to adapt anyway. But if he can’t keep the team in the title race and they end up playing mediocre football, like they did at Chelsea, then I don’t think he’ll keep his job for very long.

I didn't really want to compare but both have been in charge of the club for a long time and questions of competence sometimes come to the fore. Mikel Arteta is gradually becoming a competent manager, especially Arsenal won the EPL trophy last season and came very close to winning the UCL trophy.

Despite performing well last season, the team has signed several players for the upcoming seasons, including midfielder Bruno Guimarães, young winger Christos Tzolis for the attack, and two players for the defense.

If the shadow of Pep Guardiola is in him, I think he will be able to take the team to a better position. Since Arteta once served as Pep's assistant. If the club can maintain the consistency of last season, it will not be too difficult for them to win trophies in the upcoming season.

Chelsea and patience don't belong to the same group, they're like opposite. Patience is one thing that Chelsea has been lacking since the time of Abrahamovic and nothing seems to change under the new management led by Todd Boehly. Arsenal is probably the only thing that understands patience in their system and their patience has finally paid off winning the Premier League title last season and reaching the champions league final too but were not destined for it yet.

Arsenal is still the favourite team to win this season again even as the league is yet to kick off. Manchester city and Liverpool that usually come close and make things tough for them are having uncertainty due to regime change. Everything they achieve today is a result of patience.

What you said is true, the ideas he'd brings to the club, rounding up the players, making them understand his style of play, if that happens we could be seeing the best of Chelsea under Alonso but when you talk about giving him more time they should but Chelsea is not a team that have patience, they need that result as soon as possible, even the fans can't wait for a whole season without winning a trophy, is like a taboo, they start to panic and complain about the coach or a particular player, so do you think Chelsea have that time to give to Alonso? No I don't think so.

Rosenior is a no but if you are referring to Enzo Maresca, Pochettino and Thomas Tuchel then I can say that the reasons they left wasn't because they needed more time rather they had limited quality of players and if Xabi Alonso doesn't ensure they get every players he needs for us to balance up and compete his time here may be short and less impactful than he ought to be.

We need to compete but our players often makes this looks impossible we lacks consistency,  we neec to learn how to fight, defend and utilize chances to get comebacks or win more games.

Yes we have spent fair this season but more is expected for us to fully compete again and lift a trophy.

Guardiola is a really successful manager compared to Arteta. Guardiola has won the highest trophies for many years. But when Arteta became manager, he won the FA Cup in his first season in 2020. At that time, he beat Chelsea 2-1 in the final, which was his first managerial trophy. Then, under Arteta, Arsenal also won the Community Shield. So, although Arteta's success is less than Guardiola's, it would not be right to say that he has no success outside of the Premier League.

With Pep gone, Arteta now needs to go all-in with the growth of the team and winning trophies. After the Pep/Klopp era, now his time has come, and he needs to put up a display of power already this season. They have the best team and the coach, so surely they can defend the title this year.

Arteta certainly has a chance to defend their title this season, as his one challenger in the Premier League, Pep Guardiola, is gone. But, this season could be a challenging one for him, as he'll also have to contend with other, equally impressive coaches.
However, Arteta's advantage lies in his already strong squad and extensive experience from last season, which could significantly strengthen his chances of defending the title this season. So, we'll see if he can do it.

Mikel Arteta time to shine have come and there's absolutely nothing anyone can talk about the Gunners this season, they've won big big games and also defending champion for the EPL and this season, they're going for the UEFEA Champions League trophy which have always been the top one priority. This season, Mikel Arteta and the boys will put in everything they have because winning it would be their first time in history and that's quite an epic trophy.
I totally agree with you that Manchester City might not be capable of competing with clubs like Arsenal and even Chelsea this season, Man city looks less competitive with even Rodri being one of their key player signing for Barcelona, and also the arrival of a new head coach. The coach have to adjust into his first new official role as the team's head coach, the players might also need time to adjust and blend into the new coach's style of play. Arsenal in the other hand had a very good season last year, wining the premier league after a long time and most of their players performing wonderfully at the just concluded FIFA world cup, Arsenal have a bigger chance among all top English teams to win the league again this season, as they have also make some good signings to strengthen their squad. I like the addition of Bruno G. He will be very useful to them.

Chelsea have made some good signings and are also aiming for the return of Mudryk, who arrived from Shakhtar. i think Chelsea can have a decent season.

Me don't know if titles will come, but it will certainly be a tough team to beat because of the type of play that the new coach will certainly give them. Wink

Finding their way back into the tour four clubs in the Premier League standing by the end of the season is something I believe that can happen. I stated before now that if Xabi Alonso can get his first team quick enough, he will be able to compete hard enough and win important game most especially these smaller clubs.

Mudryk?! He should be going out on loan.

Maybe the Carabao cup, who knows? But if it is the Premier League Competition, we can all hand it over to Arsenal already. Are we all paying attention to that massive squad depth.

With his tall stature, strong physique, and ability to build up play effectively, which perfectly matches Arsenal’s style of play, it’s clear that Konsa is a great signing for Arsenal. In fact, even though Arsenal signed Konsa as a short term solution while Saliba is injured, if Konsa performs exceptionally well when given the chance to play by Arteta, it’s not out of the question that he could replace Saliba as a starter in Arteta’s squad.
