Do you trust Active telegram Groups?

Hi all , I'm a newbie in bitcointalk but not in Crypto field. I have about 6 Years of experience about this field.

As an Investor , Still i have a doubt with some active telegram groups. I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.

So far I have analyzed 500+ projects before investment  

My analysis Results are here

A)  9%      successful projects with an Active telegram group
B)  6%      unsuccessful projects with an Active telegram group
C)  25%    unsuccessful projects
D)  60%    scam projects

But Now I have decided to invest for a projects having an Active Telegram group , But tell me your openion about these type of projects.

No, I don't trust Telegram activity. Maximum are fake activity. There are many scam projects in the crypto field, currently running many scam projects. We see many member of the telegram Joined many scam projects, all are Account is bot and Scammers team always have conversations among themselves.So that people understand it is an active project. In fact, it is a scam project.
If you want to invest in a project, check these project all documents are original, see if their work is going according to the roadmap. And invest your own experience in verifying the truth.

Don't decide for the number of active people in the telegram talking about the projects because maybe it is a way of scammer to attract the investors to invest to their project. Maybe they created a lot of telegram account na join tot he group to make a legit project because they have still project who successful even the nunber of active people in the Telegram groups is little just focus on the project not in the participants.

In my humble opinion, that project is a scam.  they conducted Airdrop but failed too pay people. also they the requested for KYC For interenational not from their region. something smells fishy. they might look real but i don't think they will last.Also the project has small attention in the group where people are been kicked out.

I never trust active telegram groups. I think everyone I don't know is a cheater. They are just advertising and shilling coins anyway. I could not see any benefits for me. need to be careful.

If the Telegram groups are active, then this is good so that everyone, by asking questions, can eliminate their fears and find out whether this project will achieve successes or not, if any project group is active on Telegram and they answer people's questions, this does not mean that they may fulfill their promises, and we must not rely entirely on Telegram groups in making an investment decision.

Not because the telegram is active it means that it is good already. There are instances that the telegram being active is just an act to take advantage of the member of the group. They will always try their best to look like a legit project even without the goal of succeeding the project.

Most telegram groups whose members are active are paid people or agencies, so be careful especially on projects that are not yet famous,

Not everyone you don't know is a scammer, but you are right if you have to be careful with people you don't know, increasing awareness is necessary especially when you are researching cryptocurrency projects.

If the admin interracts with the community and help with regulating all sorts of issues then the project is more likely to be trustworthy.

I am not very happy with interactions on telegram because it seems that what we say is sometimes ignored when it comes to problems that they themselves cannot answer and solve. so it doesn't solve the problem and it's useless to hold a telegram for interaction. what is asked is only a simple matter and even then it is sometimes not done and delays, even has to be asked several times, so it is annoying. It's better to have direct interaction on the forum so there is attention.

You really can't tell these days. there's some groups with 120,000 members which are just "bitcoin mining" investment scams.

The only groups on telegram that are active and can be trusted are the groups of exchanges, as they delete every post that advertising other projects or members that posting referral.

By the way there are so many telegram groups nowadays, named like "defi moon", "gem hunting" bla bla. After collecting some fishes to their group, they request money from teams to shill their projects without caring if they are scam or not. so be extremely careful about such telegram groups.

try not to easily trust such project groups, and have to think logically that the telegram line is a communication channel that is easy to use and has features that even anyone can create some kind of fake bot via telegram. If you are an investor then don't trust the tens of thousands of project group members. most of them are fake bot Members, paid members to attract new user sensations.

I don't like joining telegram groups of new crypto projects unless I have no choice, you can't judge the capability of project because of their activeness on their groups, if a project is scam the group might be handled by pro admins that will autoban any FUD and questions that could reveal the real aim of the project, instead of looking at how active the telegram group is better look more into the project and team

 As for telegram groups I have 0 trust for them, because in some ways telegram support scamming. For example, someone can chat with you, after then the individual deletes the entire massage, change username, and still chat with you again, without you knowing.

Lol there are so many shill in telegram in which being paid by the company or member of the team,i had been there for many times thats why i leave it now and stop joining groups.
and look majority of those telegram group created by the team are scams,and they don't care about us so lets assume that Never trust telegram groups unless their company prove being legit and paying.

For me telegram groups are great way to stay connected in the community world and receive news on a daily basis. However, we don't always know the people behind these groups and who is posting the news. So it might be good to sometimes double check the news we are getting from telegram. It could be the case that people are self promoting their own projects and coins without giving the full information.

Some project, I’m in the telegram group to be able to get news and updates from a certain project. Stay active in the telegram group could help especially if you invest in their project. Also, there some people personally message you so do not trust those people. Legit group and admin will never message you first and ask for your details. So some group I trust and some I don't bother to join.

More active telegram groups are available for regular updates from different cryptocurrencies. In recent days I myself joined the yearnify finance telegram group. Within few days time yearnify finance is going to conduct their presale and airdrop. This is modelled with more features as the yearn finance. Similar to this quite often used to join telegram groups.

For q active project telegram groups are  very much important. Cause most of the time Dev's were needed to talk to the project holders or sometime this type of communication needed. Excluding this a communication between dev and normal people is always needed what they want in the project.
But it's hard to judge a project by it has a telegram group or not. Many good projects don't usr telegram for communication they got for discord or something. So I would say check other aspects when you are judging a project.

At least, administrators of active telegram group will be able to give us information about the project.
We can follow AMA ( Ask me anything ) on active telegram group which is very good to know more of the project.
But we still don't know the quality of the project only from their active telegram group, research toward the project is the only way to know of it is real or scam.
