Do you trust Active telegram Groups?

No I don't and to be honest I don't trust telegram groups no matter how active and how many people are in their group.
There are other ways to get information and we already know about this forum so why not spend time searching or asking about your question in this forum instead of being lazy and following what those group says.

But Now I have decided to invest for a projects having an Active Telegram group , But tell me your openion about these type of projects.
Project name --  Xfinance

Is it belongs to Which one ?[ A or B  ?]

I checked the Xfinance website, and I don't find any profile behind the project so I would be very cautious on this.  Aside from that it seems it follows the YFI strategy of having less tokens (around 50,000 total) so that is another concern for me since it looks like this project is created to ride the hype of YFI.  In short it is possible that it can be the D's, even if it falls under the bracket of A or B.


I still trust active telegram group but on selective basis.  Successful project have their telegram group active for news, updates, promotion, marketing campaign etc.

Even if the project have good active telegram group have you ask yourself how would a project launched last month (20 days ago) will have an active group if theres not something fishy about their social media activities?

So for 6 years you analyzed projects just by looking at the telegram? not looking at the product or team that is in the project? If that's true then I'll give you 2 thumbs up, and I'll ask you, how much money have you lost while choosing a project from telegram?

I dont trust his statement cause he might advertise the project on purpose and the last time i check newbies follow project base on news and current trend not through telegram activities.

to be honest I just heard about the Xfinane project, I don't know exactly how this project was released or how it was developed either. but if you've done some previous research on this project and feel it's right for the investment then go for it. However, if your choice is based on active telegram groups, this is not a guarantee. I know a little that one can create active telegram groups and have many users. need to be careful about this.

As an Investor , Still i have a doubt with some active telegram groups. I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.

Listen to a simple tip. You can't trust anyone to make money. Various groups and communities are created to show great interest in the project. In fact, all this is done artificially.
Scammers have learned how to create a professional hype around their projects. Don't trust anyone!

well, I really agree with what you say because when the project has many active users and is happy with the development of their project, it can be said that the project is very useful and useful for many people so that it has very good profit potential.

You sure are a newbie in this forum and on investing to come out with such a study, telegram forme and I guess all the here is never a parameter to check if the project is legit or not, there are so many services where you can add as high as 5000 new members and if you do airdrop people will come to your telegram, I'm not buying this.

A good project will more active/transparent or sahring more future plans and things that have been accomplished. Twitter is the source that I looked at after checking whitepapers and others. About the project you asked frankly I don't know and just heard from you, doing this in-depth research will help you a lot.

I also experienced this, i've been in a telegram group and they are somehow asking for a little bit of money to open something so that they can continue the project but of course real people doubted it so they question it but suddenly nee accounts have been added and then they immediately say that they have already paid, if you're a newbie and not careful enough you might believe that because a lot of them send money but in reality they're just bot accounts that helps the scammers in making the people believe them. And i also check social media accounts specially twitter because it is a more realiable one than fb because the scenario i just said earlier, scammers have their fb page so i really think its real but after some time they deleted their account so check carefully about what you're entering.

If a telegram group is active and filled with chitchats from members (even if in their thousands) without contributions from project developers and admins, that activeness means virtually nothing. Sometimes that busyness we perceive in the group could be a criterion for members to earn in bounties. The best observatory technique would be to watch out for the type of chats that go on among the members, sieve through to find out if the chats are promotional and hypocritical or developmental. If it's the latter, invest. But if it's the former, you obviously should use the exit.

Most of projects on telegram are scams. It's even easy to add 10k members on a telegram group so I think we shouldn't judge a group or channels by its members.

the act of a telegram group does not guarantee the success of a project, especially if it contains so many bots. believe it or not, it depends on the existing developments. sometimes, a telegram is active sometimes because the progress of the project is good, and sometimes the people in it are active because they are demanding something. You only need to look at the state of the telegram group to conclude.

Most of them are scams, the Real project gathers money without of them, Like Oin.finance , Or they set up IEO like FIS , but this telegram funding is shady and most of them are unknown and usually rug the pull, I know a few of them and I am not interested in joining them.

They do not collect investment via telegram. There they only conduct mass advertising like other projects. As a rule, these ads are shilling fraudulent projects. This is what you should remember and not trust such ads.

There are telegram groups that are completely legit and those are usually really transparent. You can usually confirm the identity of owners and admins in multiple spots like Linkedin, Twitter, Bitcointalk forum and such.

But there are also groups that are used to scam people with lots of fake accounts and members that are paid to participate and create traffic.

He is looking it in a wrong way I don't recommend his study even if he did his study for 6 years, active telegram channel should not be included in a criteria I have a worst experienced on Adab, they have over 20 k members and many are actively participating in a discussion but in the end the developers run away with 20 million dollars, everything is well planned they just want to make the project look legit in their telegram channel.

I dont fully trust them. After all even those project admins lie. I mean they dont flat out lie but they still make decisions without telling their investors first. But i find them useful when asking about stuff im confused with atleast.

I personally don't really trust active telegram groups, even though the project admin and team are always updating the project progress through the telegram group, but that doesn't mean that it's a green signal for you. I often find such a responsive team of investors + community, and that's just to convince its users. btw about Xfinance I don't know about the project,  just my advice to do a thorough research and don't always trust or rely on telegram alone.

Most telegram groups are created for the purpose of deceiving beginners or not very experienced traders and investors. These groups tell you what is best to buy and some people believe it.
Scammers advertise exactly the coins they own.

I don't think an active telegram group will determined if the project are succesful or not, and also it's depend on how an "Active telegram group" meaning for you. If a lot of people joined the group everyday, doesn't mean the group are active. If people talking each other like everytime, it's also cannot be suddenly determined as an active group,  it's depend on how the quality of the conversation itself, especially when the project have an active Telegram Bounty which is required people to be active on the group.
