Do you trust Active telegram Groups?

Actually, in as much as Telegram group is very needed in knowing more about a project, getting close to the team and understanding what they are up to, but I do not think it would be wise using only telegram group as a yardstick in determining a project to invest in and/or how good a project is. To better explain this, a telegram group can be active, booming with activities during the starting phase or period of a project life but as they progress, finish public sale and list on exchanges, check that group again, you will realise most of the times that the same team that was active will gradually become less active, it is only few projects that you will see the team still active even after listing on exchanges. So, the activeness of a telegram group doesn't say it all, thus you need to check other factors like the use case, their team's social media presence and even the exchange they are listed on or planning to list on.

If the telegram channel is active for their coins, I could say the team behind the project is really serious about it.
But if none of the team are not active, I could say its not a good thing to stay there. But of course, their activeness must
always related to their coins because it is not relevant anymore, still not good of course.

It's good for a project to have an active telegram group where you can easily have good discussion about the project and also ask some questions too but there are few solid projects that are less active but the projects development are not been joke with anyways, that may probably be because the team don't have time for social media messages, they are busy with the project development

I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.

not necessarily mate, there are so many active telegrams but their projects are still difficult to develop, project success is not seen from an active telegram but seen from the team's performance, are they working well or not?

Telegram is prone faking out and even there are active account without any developments the project will turn to nothing.
The team needs to give updates and continuous developments.


Nowadays Investors are wiser  they are fully aware of possible scams, even the team seems so legit from their social media accounts it doesn't secure anything. there are still chances that failed projects might take place, investors are aware of that and the reason they are
very careful joining or investing out.

No, I don't and I won't trust a project because their telegram group is active, not like it bad to have an active telegram group infact having an active telegram group is what alot of investors look at before investing in a token cause you need community support in order for the token to succeed in the crypto sphere , but scammers have seen that having active telegram groups can help them gain the trust of the investors so they can steal money from them, so they have started making their telegram groups hoping for an investor to fall for into their trap, so looking at telegram group alone before investing is wrong, always carry out a proper research before investing.

Active telegram group is not always helping, there are admins in the group but they only tell what they can tell to others.
And the question from users is not always be answered 
The only thing we can get from active telegram group is, we can ask any question about the project but there is no guarantee that we can find the real answer.

Active groups doesn't mean they project won't scam you, active group doesn't mean the project won't fail, it doesn't makes a project to be successful either, this point is misleading, do not use the activeness of telegram group to invest in a project, you will have yourself to blame later

There may be some of the genuine group too, but I prefer not to use or be depend on it. Better to have own knowledge and research and act accordingly. Not that type who would recommends other to follow this group as they are there for their benefits and not yours. So, keep that thing in mind before joining it.

Based on my experience, Some of them are scam, with an active telegram group we get to know a lot of information about that project. But my advice is don't trust active telegram.

It is not telegram channels that are deceiving, but people. It's high time to give up these scammers. Of course, there are decent and honest administrators, but very few. First of all, you need to evaluate the manner of communication. Scam can be seen right away it's just someone else's copied text, obsessive sellers, low prices.

There are telegram groups that provide with good support and details about new projects and available bounties. Here most of the telegram groups just add more and more members to its channel and gives useless notifications regularly. When we go through the link there'll be nothing and it'll be a scam project thats been identified and accused long back. One should not believe much on telegram channels, it is good to have our own analysis before going for an investment or trading purpose.

An active telegram group is not the benchmark for the project to be successful, but at least with an active telegram, it will attract more enthusiasm, compared to a passive telegram group. Active telegram groups must also be of high quality and useful, discussing important matters in the context of the project

Don't have proper info about xfinance cause haven't heard about the name before but i think that, If a project is good by qualifications, then active or inactive telegram group doesn't make fact. although having active telegram group is basic condition of good quality project. Now good and scam, every project has their active telegram groups.so don't select project by seeing only its active telegram group, rather focus on each project quality, also try to know their team members & theirs roadmap

If I recall correctly every crypto projects have a active telegram group, even crypto exchanges have telegram groups too, you can't find out if a project is fake or scam by their activities on telegram group, it doesn't make any sense, you have to do your own research and ask good questions

But i think, most of those active telegram groups can still be bounty hunters who are carrying out their bounty task, to know how true the telegram group is, after bounty check it again to see the level of activeness, most times it drops badly but if the project is a very good one, the discussion and so on will still continue. on the other hand, I have not heard about the project before, and with Defi hype is very much around, I would suggest you carry out a good research about the project, look beyond the hype if any, focus on the team and their use cases you will be able to find out more about the project hence making your own decisions.

no doubt, having active telegram group is good for real project but i don't trust them at all.and I think your analysis result for Option B need to correction.cause i found around 20/25% even more scam project where their telegram group is active.they are open scammers but still they continue their telegram group and give fake hope to people and encourage to perticipate their tokensale and buy more token.even some of those have no lequidity on exchange but they adviced people to buy and problem will be solved.thats really disgusting

For real projects, yes it's a good medium to let its community know what are the updates and possible things that they might do. But it's already proliferated by scam projects. If that never changes and most scams are there, there's no way that you can trust any of them.
Much better to rely on this forum and check projects which are good to invest and what are good to avoid.

Actually it is not active or not that determines the scam project. it's more about the flow of conversation and what the team is talking about in a telegram group. I'm sure that most scam project telegram groups don't want to talk about their project development from a technology perspective, because they don't know what they're going to talk about, and most scam projects are just copycat projects

Maybe it could be said I would believe in the project if the crypto project had a thread on this forum. If the project only has a telegram,
how people will believe, where their road map, vision, and mission to  show  to  potential investors. It is very  dangerous  if  it  is  easy
to invest, especially only through telegram as an information center.
