Based upon this discussion and the cryptocointalk thread, I am in agreement with the MM strategy so long as the reward structure of no inflation stays exactly in place. Also, we need to make absolutely sure that it's a smooth transition.

I like the idea of them, and they don't sound like a problem.
But I agree why beta test this on UNO.  Show that it works on a coin with $3000 in market cap.

Yes UNO halves in May, but I think we can keep up the Hash at least until the next half.  
In fact between Genesis and steady UP price trend we'll likely do just fine until R=1.7 UNO/day.

In the meantime we can get all the details right ... whatever needs to be fixed, whatever needs to be added ... this would be it ... never again is the fork an option.

Guys, we have waited and waited and waited to get an answer from Well-Known Western-Australian Bullion Dealer about a pilot project for Btc/Uno.

Sick of waiting! Hit the phone. Found a little place in Perth that's willing to give it a go.

Simple Fact: we'll start with Bitcoin -- but we can integrate this business into Un-Ex. We can rally Oz Dogecoiners and Uno folk to (somehow?) 'translate' one crypto into another to give this project some depth.

It will be months before we throw the switch, but this is an excellent opportunity to learn-by-doing about 'national chapters/bullion' and liquidity for merchants.

The Bullion Thing is gonna be organised over at Un-Ex. It's a national-chapter initiative.

And I am re-thinkificating it so we can not 'base' ourselves in Doge or Bitcoin, but be the crossroads, and buy the 'incoming' cryptos for fiat.

The charts are once again forming a triangle which means the volatility is dropping again.
This is a good sign in my opinion.
It means there are markets for UNOs and for bitcoins now which is a healthy situation.
Just a few days ago there was markets only for bitcoins and a severe shortages of Unobtanium. Of course while we buy the UNOs away from the markets little by little we will see another similar type of pump.
Unobtanium is meant to be very expensive coin and I am convinced it will be.
If you have spare cash that you can afford to tie up for a few years, I think UNO is an alternative which need to be seriously considered - at least. Do not go all-in but buy little by little like I am doing: nibbling from here and there.

Is volatility a good thing?

UNO has very low inflation, but as price rises there should be a fair share of miners selling at market spot (say 5kg/day).

So that is the only real supply at any price.

The ASKS will be high. (hodlrs)
The wall/large BIDS will be conservative based on MA.

This leaves for a wide spread and constant volatility.
And this trend would likely widen as rewards drop to near zero.

UNO maybe perfect for both traders and investors.
