If Chelsea qualify for the Europa League and win it, they will receive the winning mentality boost that they have been waiting for after Maresca resigned. Rosenior is not capable of taking Chelsea forward, the team are not understanding his tactics. Are you really going to be surprised if Palmer is sold to Manchester United in the summer? If Chelsea lose their best players and sign incompatible players, how can the team move forward?

Tottenham have taken proactive steps to rectify their mistake, they have sacked Tudor. Will Chelsea do the same with Rosenior?

I doubt he will survive beyond this season unless he magically wins the league or the FA Cup, at which point he may be able to demand more time and patience from the fans. It would be a pity to start next season with a naive manager with no big club experience. 

The media is linking us to Fabregas; while I've always loved him, he's no different from Liam right now. The Chelsea job is enormous and requires an experienced manager to run it. I hope Fabregas avoids the mistakes Lampard and Gerrard made early in their careers. He's better where he is.

It is part attitude, part self-belief, part arrogance and part communication skills that drives the successful managers and coaches. Usually it is the best of the best that want to challenge themselves as they want to be the one that brought success and stability to a team that other managers could not cope with. Fabregas really needs more years of experience before he tries to manage a big club.

I believe Maresca resigned because he had enough of the issues behind the scenes. The idea they could replicate the effect Maresca had on the team by hiring Rosenior was a massive mistake. It is the sporting directors that should be replaced, not managers one after another.

The Sporting directors are well backed; go against them and you get sacked the next day - it happened with Poch and now  Enzo Maresca. The owners oblivious have eyes and they watch our games, they know the truth and obviously turning blind eyes trying so hard to justify their bad decisions.

If Chelsea had a perfect mix of young raw unproven talent alongside young proven talent as well as a mix of experienced and senior talent in their squad, they would be mounting a serious challenge for the Premier League. Unfortunately for them, they always had some pieces of the jigsaw always missing.

In the end they board will have to learn because when there is a wholesale departure from the club because of the way they treated Maresca (and maybe Pochettino before him), they will realise the number of players willing to sign them for the right reasons are maybe quite small.

Brighton fans used to be satisfied with Pedro scoring 5-6 goals a season - at Chelsea we're not even satisfied at 20 goals.

Manchester United seemed to be given a fresh start after Carrick was installed as their manager. They should qualify for the Champions League by finishing in third place. It will be good for football if Aston Villa finish in the top four but Liverpool are chasing them (and I think we can agree Chelsea will probably play in the Europa League).

As Newcastle United hosting Bournemouth, you cannot go against Bournemouth after they humiliated Arsenal with that win. I think Bournemouth will probably win.

I told you guys that the "near success syndrome" would kick in in April, same time last season, they called me a mad man  it's happening guys.

Newcastle are battling injuries again- DNB on Bournemouth at 2,70 looks too generous after what I watched against Arsenal

There is no reason for either of them to stay at the club when the board are making fools of themselves. These difficult times are nothing compared to what will happen when their best players begin to exit the club as they cannot play to their full capacity under Rosenior.

If Boehly is rendered useless because his minority stake is just 12.8% then maybe he should sell and find some other club to buy. If he wants, he could always sell to an external buyer that would come in and could make things difficult for Clearlake. Now sure how that would help the players but it might help Boehly feel better

Nice...  Will making my bet with the DNB for Bournemouth.  They've been one of my favorite teams for a few seasons now since the days with Eddie Howe.  But now he's at Newcastle and would be on the receiving end of a loss from his former club. 

But did Eddie Howe get a big transfer budget at Newcastle?  I think he'll do well if he did...  But then again maybe he did and the team still sucked.

Bournemouth just beat Arsenal therefore they have the momentum to beat Newcastle United.

If I recall correctly, Trippier was the first big signing after the new owners took over the club. They made some moderate to expensive signings but they never really managed to become a cohesive unit. I think they paid £55 million to Nottingham Forest to buy Elanga but he has not been able to force his way in to the starting eleven. If they buy players for huge amounts and they do not perform, that demotivates the owners from repeating the same error.

As for Trippier, he is leaving at the end of the season when his contract expires. The new owners have allowed Howe to manage the team but they have not exactly spent phenomenal amounts of money on any marquee signing.

Are Newcastle United owners not the richest owners in world football? Why aren't they buying players that would make them compete like City did when they got a new sugar daddy.

For Eddie; sometimes it's good to stay where you have very little access to the money and fully involved in players transfer business.
