Not everyone has share same thoughts as you. Since even if you don't care much about their exchange or swap feature there are still people using that especially if they want to change for another alts for whatever reasons they have.

I am not yet tried to swap coins on both sites you mention. I also used swap coins option for some time but not very often. That feature is great and helps me solve the transaction fees. Yes, it is a bit expensive to swap because the casino acts as an exchange which they also want to profit from that feature. So I think that is normal for them to do that.
