It might be worth in the future icopress or one of the events team users actually getting into contact with theymos prior to voting next time, and seeing if we can release that kind of information to public in time for the event, so that they can vote more appropriately, i.e most reports in the last year, and potentially most actions by moderators if the moderator vote was reintroduced in the future.

Besides that, I think regularly releasing that information helps users report more. Though, I don't know how much work it's to actually retrieve that data. So, theymos might not go for it. However, it'd be nice if it was a regular thing, and could benefit this event too.

A report stat at least before the event could really help everyone. Or The category should be for the mods only since they handle the reports. A regular user does not have any idea at all to judge the quality of reports and the numbers.

I would not have known about the 2022 Community Awards if it hadn't been for the notification I received earlier today from someone who voted for me in a category. I'm sure many people will miss out if it isn't pin on the home page of the forum like it was last year. Thank you, betnomi and Sportsbet, for always making this 'stranger things' forum entertaining. I won't be participating this year, but best of luck to everyone who is.

Every vote is a duplicate of the previous year's; the only categories that vary each year are "Fail of the Year," "Event of the Year," and "Antihero," the rest is just rinse, repeat, and rinse among the same people. Same voters, same outcomes. Its worth is dwindling.

Everyone likes to think Foxpup is female but I found him attracted to women LOL. Lauda was a woman. The Pharmacist is a man. Suchmoon is an woman. Jet Cash is a man a senior citizen. JJG is a man, Mic is a man, Homer is a man, LFC_bitcoin is a man, Bob is a man, Dabs is a man, yahoo is obviously man and he got married not long ago. I can go on and on, it's been a long year with the community and watching all these peoples how they react and act. In one or two cases I might be wrong though, take it easy 🤣

I've also spoken about my wife, but that says nothing about my gender. Nor does being attracted to women. And maybe Leo is short for Leona (Or maybe it is a completely meaningless pseudonym with no bearing on my real identity.)

I have to say that it was totally unexpected to get nominated in that category lol. Back in the early days there was a rule that everyone on the Internet is a male until proven otherwise (which I still follow when addressing other members) so looks like time has changed and members now like to think of others as females. Wishful thinking I guess, like in Lauda case.

With the knowledge I have to day I should have defined myself as a women when I signed up. The community manager jobs I have you easier get selected if you are a "women".

I would not have known about the 2022 Community Awards if it hadn't been for the notification I received earlier today from someone who voted for me in a category. I'm sure many people will miss out if it isn't pin on the home page of the forum like it was last year.

Giving DT more voting power results in automatic slots for the same set of DT members over and over. I'm not sure, but having the same group of members win the same awards every year isn't a good idea in my opinion. What if each local board nominates a category, and then a general pool is established? Does it appear to be a bad ideal?

If I recall correctly, Foxup won the female category some time ago; how do you nominate someone whose gender is unknown to 95% of the voters? After antihero, this is the most useless category.
