Let's start the new year with some funny jokes and light humor. I think everyone will understand that this is a joke. I've always considered you a person who knows how to joke and has a great sense of humor. After all, in our modern technological world , you can not only have two genders but also pretend to be a cat or a pig.

But you have to try to understand that sitting with children and maintaining a household is not at all easy.

While writing that post, I remembered our former President, who was asked why he did not set up the First Lady's office and he said, i quote, "My wife's place is in the bedroom, not the office." He died last year.

Two wives, 10 Children - I guess he won the bedroom fights 

There were a lot of controversial stories about him, including claims that he passed away during one of his medical trips in Saudi Arabia during his 3rd term in office, was buried, and had a lookalike from Sudan cloned to complete his eight-year term. Finished his tenures and was declared dead a year later during another medical trip. ( Look it up if interested)

I set out to find this user Miles2016, as I'd never seen such a nickname before, but I was unsuccessful. However, judging by the JollyGood tag, it's quite possible that those who own multiple alternative accounts might confuse even their existing accounts. The nickname Cryptoprincess101 would be more appropriate here.

That’s funny. Also, the phrase “never gave up on the forum” gives me the impression that it’s probably someone they know personally who probably had issues on the forum at one point. I was going to wait and see if others would vote for the same person.

On the other hand, it could be a typo. My best guess is that they wanted to vote for miles2006.

So, i finally did my voting for the ongoing community awards and i'm concerned about one of the categories which is 'Miss Bitcointalk'. This category should be scrapped because it ought to represent physical attraction and elegance of a woman but this forum is anonymous therefore we don't know what each other looks like in reality despite that some forum users have claimed to be women but not proven beyond reasonable doubts. I learnt that foxpup is a woman and i have seen different constumes, avatars and symbols that represents her identity but they ain't trustworthy evidences. I know that the members of the foxpup's merit cycling club might want to defend this but am just stating the fact.

My bone of contention is that the category of 'Miss Bitcointalk' should be discarded.

Even though i voted for this category last time but in this forum, almost everyone is being addressed as ''he''. But if i can see anyone that has never been addressed as a man in the forum then i might consider filling this category.

Afaik it hasn't been decided yet, but icopress said it will be either February 25th or 27th.

I think it will be 25 or 27 (the thread was made in advance).

I keep delaying voting as I am not 100% sure about all categories, but might start voting for those that I have decided and eventually finish other categories.

I rushed here because I saw someone on the Italian board stating voting ended on January 31st.
Glad to understand I am not overly distracted, and I understood correctly that voting ends toward the end of the month.
I might suggest to @icopress to decide and publicly say when he’s going to close the voting operations? We had an “incident” in the past in a similar situation, and I don’t see any downside to announcing the exact moment in forum time.

::/ yahoo62278/:: Thanks! Regarding the nominations, it may be that some users are leaving everything until the last minute. Let’s hope more people in the community get involved. I think that regardless of the reason (say, “laziness”) more users will participate before the voting period closes.

It’s worth mentioning that the announcement is still appearing in the news feed. But to be honest, we’re so used to reading about Bitcoin Core 30 that we might just overlook it.

Perhaps, throughout the year, we should remind users that this event exists. So that, a year from now, we don't have to keep thinking about which users we thought were good to recommend in each category.

I sometimes remember that there was a user who, at some point, did something that caught my attention, and who should now be nominated for some category... but I can't remember their name. Sometimes I have to investigate and I find something, sometimes I end up "giving up"...

The question is, if you can't even remember the name of the user that you want to vote for, does he really deserves your vote?
