I’m just genuinely curious to see the sentiment amongst bitcointalk posters. Please no trolling which includes being overly bearish or bullish. Just vote for what you genuinely think, no agendas.

Personally, I’m thinking option 4 ($12,001 - $14,000).

It’ll be interesting to see the results.

I personally think bitcoin's price will be between $8,000 - $12,000. Boring answer, I know. I chose the 8k-10k option though because I think it's a bit more likely. Why? Idunno, I'm just not that bullish in the short term; though your $12k-$14k pick is surely really possible too. If it does reach that price point, I'm guessing it will be because the stock market rises more; and as we know, bitcoin has been following the S&P500 for a while now.

I voted for the latter (just a guess with not real analysis). We have just over three months left in the year, and I personally do not expect more spikes to happen to move the value above $12k for sustained periods. I also do not expect the price would fall too low i.e, below the $10k mark, any time soon. If I am to choose, we are more likely to break above $12k than to drop below $10k.
The festive period could of course bring some surprises in the market.

Pointing out, there is no option for that in the poll. It has;
$8,000 - $10,000
$10,001 - $12,000

Yeap. I just pointed out that I think bitcoin's price will be at $8k-12k; not necessarily saying that that was my poll choice, hence why I followed up with this statement Tongue

I personally think bitcoin's price will be between $8,000 - $12,000. Boring answer, I know. I chose the 8k-10k option though because I think it's a bit more likely.

The price for a long seems to move between $10000 - $11500. At times there is higher fluctuation, even after such level of price fluctuation the price used to stabilize around $11000. Following all these pattern of growth, even by the time of world market crash I expect to reach atleast $15000 by 2021.

$12-14k would really be realistic and im quite surprised that no one hits up the poll in "MOON" and $20k. LOL..Basing off on the movement we had now and in past months then its safe to presume that breaking 14-15k price
would really be hard but well its all about speculation yet market is always been unpredictable.Im watching for those people who would post about 20k price above or even on a million one.  Cheesy

I won't be surprised if we see a extended period of consolidation happening especially with the lack of volume we are seeing in the market. It can either be two ways depending on how we see the chart and it is either Bitcoin continues to go up and down near this level of Bitcoin will finally correct since it has failed a lot of times to go up above 12,000$ meaning it might reach to appoint where Bitcoin will finally correct. But still there is still no accurate answer here especially when we still have about 3 months left for 2020.

Ask me in a month and I'll have a better idea. Right now it's a tossup.

I voted for "$14,001 - $16,000" because I think we'll continue trending upwards in Q4 after this September-October pullback. I could easily see a spike towards $16K-$19K (before another mid-term pullback) but I'm trying to take time into consideration. January and Q1 are often bearish, and there have been several significant tops historically in December. Given that and given where we are now, $15K is basically smack in the middle of the next trading range I expect to develop, so it's as good of a guess as any.

It will be hard to predict what the actual price range Bitcoin will hold as we enter New year since the Bitcoin usually experience some in price towards the end of December and early January but with the total bullish market still expect to happen and the economy status I believe Bitcoin market will maintan the range of $7000 - 10,000 but i voted $8000-10000.

Since its an election year its very difficult to predict. If Trump wins then I am pretty sure it will be $12K however he is loses then its hard to tell what it will be. Many are expecting a huge stock market sell-off if Trump loses and hence why many traders are on the sidelines until the election is over.

Remember what happened in 2016 when Trump won the election. Nobody could of predicted the type of rally that SP500 had since he became president. And right now its no different. Bitcoin is a risk-on correlated asset to stocks and what the stock market does... bitcoin and other crypto markets will follow suit. So New Years is way too far to predict an accurate price.

It looks like I'm very optimistic here and I'm only the one who voted $16,001 - $18,000 range price.

I don't see any reason Bitcoin will dump at the end of this year, besides, I still believed that there is a good result after the halving. It's been a month halving successfully launched but I didn't convince the effect on it in the market, as the previous result, it took more than 6 months before the market shows a bullish trend.

Regarding the US election, I didn't see that this will may affect the Bitcoin price.

I voted $14,001 - $16,000 as I have been expecting a $15,000 max price before the year ends and I'm still believing for it to happen.
Btc is in a very familiar position. Just like when It was stabilizing around $8,000 and $9,000 early in 2020, and then It breaks resistance level after a couple of months. Now, Btc is stabilizing at $10,000, and I'm feeling like it could surge up to $15,000 somewhere in the 4th quarter.
Though, I'll be fine If Btc will be staying above $10,000 level before the year ends.

We cant really remove those beliefs back in the past on when the time comes specially on 4th quarter of the year or on Christmas season where majority do believe that there would be a pump just like what happened in 2017 bull run.To see that it didn't happen in last 2 years but at least it did make some significant move.

I have voted also on $14- 16000 price but to believe that we wont easily break those resistances heading to 12k 13k 14k 15k.So this would still be a bumpy ride but these numbers
are realistic imho unlike those other 6 digit speculation.

For now the thing we do need is to wait on how this market moves and be smart on placing up your position for tendency to make out some profits.

Same as your Vote OP,i think it will be $12,000-14,000 with this kind of movement and the effect of Corona Virus.

The Bullrun for me will be expected 1st to 2nd quarter of 2021 according to some prediction and also for me.

Not unless the Vaccine will be proven before the end of this year, changes will happen also in the end of the market prices.

I predict the bitcoin price range at the New Year will be $10k-$12k or $12k-$14k because the bitcoin seems stable at that price for a few weeks. But I hope that the price can surge to the high price because I see that the trend looks better than the last few weeks so that bitcoin can break $11k soon. The trend will be better if the vaccine can be found so that it can give impact the crypto market too. At least, people will have hope that the virus will end, so people can have a chance to have a better life.

It seems bitcoin price will have more support in the next month. But I think people will not wait for a long time because once the price increases for a small price, they will sell quickly without waiting for more. If that situation continues, I guess bitcoin's price can't stay or increase to the high price because people will take a fast profit before the chance is gone.

I voted $10K to $12K based on my own prediction and price analysis, a strong resistance is at $11K its very possible that price will break it as it
approaches that zone in next few days to come and thereafter retrace to that zone i.e resistance turned support before heading to next
resistance zone at $12k.
ALL these TA should be achievable in the next three months thus as we enter next year the price should comfortable
stabilize above $12k.

I’m just genuinely curious to see the sentiment amongst bitcointalk posters.
the problem is that sentiment of right now is going to be very different if we see a price change. so even though you are asking for the price in about 3-4 months in the future the repliers are using the current sentiment to vote.
take March of last year for example. if you asked people what would the price be in 3-4 months because the sentiment of that time was a depressing one they would have never said $10k+ let alone saying it will reach $13k (the actual price that was reached). in fact topics from that time all say something like dropping to $1000 more than those who were optimistic and said $6000.

I think that until November 3, 2020, the price of Bitcoin will be at the current levels, maybe a little higher... After the U.S. presidential election, stock indices may fall, and along with them, the whole crypto market!
I think so...

I voted $12,001 - $14,000 range, it's a conservative estimates, regardless, I think we have several movements in the last 3 months to push that price in that range. The US election might have a positive effect, just saying. As smart investors are going to hedge more of their wealth to bitcoin prior or after the election. And we might hear some development on the vaccine, or countries resetting their economy on the positive side.

I have voted for $12,000 - $14,000 the same as you. Not that too ambitious price but very near to the reality. I think that in the last quarter we have will still show bitcoin at these prices.

Personally, as long as it's on the 5 digit range most of us wouldn't worry as we're on the safe prices.
