Just like I said in my previous post here, I bet it will have some integration with LN
It would be a good time to do this since exchanges are really adopting LN, like Binance that did it recently, and we already have information that Coinbase will also work on it

Although we already have fast networks for depositing on DuelBits, LN is almost instant and the most used currency
LN brings interesting possibilities for more cautious people, such as the total ease of depositing, placing bets or trades (in case of exchanges) and at the end of the day withdrawing the money and repeating the process as many times as you want, since the cost of these operations is extremely low

Duelbits was launched in 2020 iirc so that makes them the 3rd year on 2023 so yeah this could be the reason they are launching Duelbits 3.0 and Im pretty excited on whats going to be added

Maybe a full redesigned website and hopefully some new unique features that we have never seen before. 3rd year anniversary with new or big upgrade in the system/website/features will be nice celebration and I hope it wont be stopped at new features but also big promotions to celebrate the 3rd anniversary which will come in September if I remember it correctly.

Definitely needs a big redesign but I do not think that they will be doing it. For that to happen there needs to be a lot of work put in way before, it takes months and months even maybe a whole year to redesign such a big and already functioning website, after that you require some beta testers which they can't just find from inhouse, they need to get some beta testers globally so they can see the issues, and we haven't heard anything like that at all.

So if you ask me, I think they are not going to do something that major. Maybe a few new features, that might be done because that's a small change and it could be done in that way, but anything big like changing the whole design would require a lot of testing and development.

Lightning Network is less secure than Bitcoin network and risk of hack on Lightning Network is bigger. It is impossible to attack Bitcoin network and revert transactions after it has like 3 confirmations. It is main reason why adoption of Lightning Network in gambling industry has yet been big enough.

Probably because even though it is a very secure network, there are still some risks of compromise. Yes that's what I mean why this lightning network is very useful for the bitcoin gambling community because this lightning network can be an alternative for bitcoin users who gamble if the L1 bitcoin network is busy and full, so you can use this alternative even though not many users use it at least Duelbits can be more advanced than other casinos using this network as another alternative for other users which might be used in the future if there is another transaction jam on the L1 bitcoin network.
