Quite agree with you bud, being a part of a gambling community on reddit, I can tell of a truth that people areore inclined to share their winnings more than their loses, and when  I say winnings, I mean big winnings, usually in the tens of thousands of dollars and up, and the reason for this is because, possibly, it makes them feel very proud of themselve, and they believe that that attracts respect to their personality from every other person around.

It is true that gambling has both of them, to be fair has losses a lot more often as well because of the house edge, you end up winning less than what you lose on the same bet, all because of the house edge. Knowing that, being aware of that, and gambling based on that is something that we need to care about a lot, and that has to be something to care about in the end.
