I am ready for this, I made my account on duelbits today. I trust this will be an interesting experience and i'll also seize the opportunity to play in an iconic casino - Duelbits.com.

Let's get started tomorrow, looking forward to my 80+ points in the GW1.
The Fantasy Premier League pool is definitely something interesting, especially when you are a league that comprises people or a community, you know, in this case the Bitcoin forum community, and to spice it up there will be some reward.
I will definitely be an interesting adventure. I haven't played it with a particular social group and I haven't also staked anything, but this time 0.002 BTC is at stake.

It's unfortunate I may not be able to participate in this edition, as it has got me not prepared well enough. Perhaps next time I will look forward to it.
I believe there is more than 5 weeks to make the payment incase you still want to join. Wait, I guess no one can join again now the season has started.

Just wanted to double check here as I recently spoke with Duelbits support but wasn't able to get this sorted out.

I'm currently switching email addresses across all my accounts to move away from Google having recently upgraded to Proton Mail. I've successfully updated my email on almost every other platform but Duelbits support told me it’s not possible to change the email on an existing account. When I asked if I could simply close my current account and open a new one using my new address, they refused that as well.

Is it really true that you can't change your email here? That definitely doesn't seem like standard practice. Has anyone else run into this?

I haven’t encountered this situation myself, but I don’t think you should create a new account, especially if support explicitly told you that it’s not allowed. Duelbits may have an internal policy regarding changing your email address or creating a new account. It’s strange that you can’t at least close the old account and use your new email address. If I were you, I’d ask support to explain the reason for the refusal and clarify whether there’s any way to resolve the issue.

Just wanted to double check here as I recently spoke with Duelbits support but wasn't able to get this sorted out.
I just did a search to see what their terms say, but I couldn't get a clear answer.

Their FAQ says that you can't change your email address, but you can close your account and then create a new one.

Quote from: help.duelbits.com
The email address that your account has been registered to cannot be changed/switched to a different address.
This policy ensures account security and prevents unauthorised changes. If you entered an incorrect email address during registration, you must close the account associated with that email and create a new one with the correct email address.

Their Support Guide says that you can contact their live support to close your account.

If you need to manage your gambling activity, Duelbits provides several tools accessible via Live Support:
Self-exclusion: Close your account for a defined period, 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, or permanently. Contact Live Support and your account will be restricted immediately.

But their Self-Exclusion Policy says that you can't create a new account if you have closed one.

You should not attempt or proceed to open any new accounts during your self-exclusion period, or indefinitely if a permanent self-exclusion has been selected.

Thanks to both of you for trying to help! Since I’ve already completed their KYC I would prefer to keep my current account and simply update the email address. While I’d be willing to close this account and open a new one, support warned me against doing that and I don't want to break any rules.
There should be an option to change your email, especially for verified users. The support agent initially asked me why I wanted to change it but after I explained my reasoning, he just said no, not possible.
Hopefully the official Duelbits rep here can shed some light on this. Most platforms let you change your email but not your username, whereas Duelbits allows username changes while locking down your email  Huh
