I hope they can get their shit together because you keep getting hacked it is just a matter of time until you get again, and again, and you do not have infinite money to lose

Indeed, the main Duelbits site is temporarily suspended, but I found some duelbits mirror sites are still active, but I can't be sure whether they are official or not.

I don't know what mirror website you are talking about, but as far as I know there are only two official domains.
One is duelbits.com and the other is duelbits.io.

But $500 is a very small amount. Bitcointalk is only a discussion forum and there is no money flowing like casinos but they pay even $60k por a vulnerability disclosure

Security can not be played around, so if anyone from Duelbits is reading I believe the amount should increase a lot or you will pay in millions when hacks happen like this

Damn man these are some really bad news for them, and the ammounts are not small at all. I dont really know if for a casino this big the are significant but is not good for sure, not only because of you need to improve your security but also because of the financial damage of this attacks.

Man this really sucks! 2234.59 ETH that roughly $6-7 mil, it's just crazy? That's a lot of money. And as far I know, this is the second time this has happened. And this happened right before their Duelbits 2.0. Worst timing ever!

Such high volume should have been manually checked before confirming (or at least have some failsafe system to alert the higher up that a big amount is being moved). That's the most logical thing to do/have. Unless it was a RAT thing (insider job) that made the slip possible.

They have like everything, big infrastructure, big money, big team of experts - still they suffer this huge loss. Then what about us? You and me and general crypto users!? We are nowhere near safe. Hackers and scammers will never stop looking for ways to see loose ends, loopholes in order to take on their targets. Everyone is surprised just like you but that’s to show that any form of vulnerability in your wallet can be used to have access to your wallet. I just imagine the layer of security they have ensued on these wallets and yet it was hacked.

They can handle that for sure, I think they are just fixing things and try to make sure that their platform is safe. Before they launch or make their site live again.

Most of the stolen assets were swapped into ether and consolidated into a single address, which now holds about 2,234.6 ETH. At an ether price of 2,666 USD on September 24, that comes to roughly 5.96 million USD. The address has not moved the funds.

Onchain data from Etherscan shows three sources feeding that consolidation address. An intermediary wallet ending in a1d7 sent the largest share, 1,601 ETH worth about 4.27 million USD across four transfers. A second intermediary ending in 8cD23 was the first funder, sending 478 ETH worth about 1.27 million USD. A third address ending in EF1c, linked to the stolen bitcoin, contributed 156 ETH worth about 416,000 USD.

Casinos and exchanges do that all the time, security of the wallet is one of the big role to keep it going to run a casino successfully in the long term even if they do all that, just one mistake can result them into this and we don't know when it will happen that is why no custodial service is safe to keep our cryptos.

Casinos and exchanges do that all the time, security of the wallet is one of the big role to keep it going to run a casino successfully in the long term even if they do all that, just one mistake can result them into this and we don't know when it will happen that is why no custodial service is safe to keep our cryptos.

Sometimes this kind of exploit can come from external factors, like the license providers data getting stolen, or even games provider's, but now that this incident come in the midst of a wide spread of data branches that happens recently, it quite expected for big crypto casinos and exchanges to get hit in one way or the other, between I believe other platforms will be taking extra security measures to keep their hot wallets  protected and the overall site security.

It's certainly a big money that sits there and it might take time for them to get it back but I wish that they'll be able to handle this situation very well. It’s really sad to hear this. Duelbits was one of the casinos (services) that I thaught would never be hacked. Unfortunately, it got hacked.
I still can’t believe this happened.
Anyways, it seems like those casinos (service providers) don’t care much about their security. Not sure if Duel have ever conducted a bug bounty program.
