That is not going to work well for reputation, if 1) they still dont know how they were attacked (which might mean they might get attacked again) or 2) they cant give public explanation of an attack (which might mean attack was fake or own employee was involved; that means funds are still not 100% safe) or 3) they have managed to trace attacker or are in a process, and will give a full explanation later about how attack was done/what they did after/result of their actions.

Duelbits might even still be under attack or in danger. Re-topped wallets and new deposit wallets might also mean that Duelbits have found temporary solution, while still dealing with situation.

They don't need to at all since what matters more is how they handled the aftermath. Duelbits proved their reliability again and again thanks to multiple hacks over time, but the big question is whether they can continue doing that if more hacks happen in the future.

It's their business and they can post more details about it or not, it's their full rights to do that for best of their business. With users, they already got the best solution from Duelbits, no funds from users lost, and withdrawals were re-enabled days ago.
