I just saw the post on the Hacker News. Chancecoin looks like a very promising coin. I just bought a few hundred CHA on the Poloniex. This coin should really be trading at a higher price. Why are there so many big offers posted at low valuations? This creates a downward pressure on the price and makes it harder to get your order filled. If you want to sell, don't show your hand. Either pull your offer or put it at a way higher price. Be patient. We need to get the valuation higher so we can get higher on coinmarketcap, etc. so people take the coin seriously. Worry about capitalizing on your investment later, when you can do it at a better price. It's going to be pretty stupid if all of the initial investors fall over themselves to try to sell for like a 20% gain when we can work together to gain 2000%.

TLDR: Initial investors: please be more patient and don't show your hand on the sell side of the order book. Let's shoot for the sky high valuation this coin deserves. Who's with me?

If the coins has enough promise, valuation will come.  I wish everyone in the forums would stop thinking they can control market forces.  If you think the price is too low then buy more.

Thanks for dev's great and talent work!

The new version actually greatly improve the client stablity, especially to Chinese people without using VPN.The fee is also significantly reduced after a complete overhaul of the transaction system.

After the promation of wallet stablity, maybe more betting and gambling types should be added to gamble in the wallet.

These new betting and gambling types will greatly improve the CHA's value.

Besides of roll dice, these new betting types can be used to gamble in sports, stocks, gold, crude oil and other markets. These will greatly expand the application range of the CHA. Of course, football betting is also a very big market.

It's very easy to add these new betting types using CHA protocol. We eagerly look forward to this.

CounterSports looks good. CHA can realize these very easily since CHA protocol is more robust and clear on bet.

Hello Chancecoiners!

We're excited to release Chancecoin version 2.1. If you already have the client, it will automatically update for you. If you don't already have the client, you can download it from the Participate page. If you need some CHA, you should head over to our official centralized exchange, Poloniex.

The biggest change in this version is a complete overhaul of the transaction system. Loading a private key used to take a while, but it's fast now. As soon as you load a private key, you'll see your CHA balance and BTC balance as usual (if this didn't work for you before, you should try again). If you click your BTC balance, you'll see a list of unspent outputs that Chancecoin sees as being available for spending. You may recall that every Chancecoin transaction costs some BTC. For example, see this one. Those 0.0001086 BTC multisig outputs are what many of you were complaining about as "betting fees." With the new transaction system, Chancecoin will automatically reuse those outputs and credit them back to you (for example, see this transaction). This means that effectively, the only fee for a Chancecoin transaction is the standard 0.0001 BTC fee. We think this is a major win.

We've created an Issue Tracker. We'd like to ask that you file all bug reports and enhancement requests there so that we can organize and prioritize our tasks more efficiently. For example, if you upgrade to version 2.1 and you're still having issues submitting transactions from China without a VPN, please let us know through the issue tracker.

Ideally, we'd like to start using this forum as more of a marketing think tank. How does that sound?

Magician

P.S. Check out the new Stats tab on the Casino page.

Hi,
Is there any guideline to get the CHA which was burned through Bitcoin wallet before? I downloaded the wallet and installed Java 8, but the wallet is always downloading even after 48 hours. Can you investigate on this issue so that we can access the wallet from China without VPN?

This makes sense but we want to be completely ethical and let the natural market forces determine where the price equilibrium should be. People who placed offers to sell at low prices do so because they want to make a quick profit. To us this price level actually makes a good opportunity for us to buy another few thousand CHA's. We are planning to add more betting types in the upcoming months, and we believe that we are well-positioned to be the #1 coin in the bitcoin gambling space.
