I like it. We should make the gambling promo ongoing (maybe refreshing every two weeks) so it encourages a constant flow of casino activity. Let's just make sure we have enough CHA to keep the gambling campaign and the signature campaign going all the time. I just sent the last 40 CHA from the old donation address, as well as 250 CHA from my personal burn address, to 1CHANCeWHSRAfvfi4rwo8v6NEY64RfZYqB. I've also updated chancecoin.com and this thread to refer to 1CHANCeWHSRAfvfi4rwo8v6NEY64RfZYqB as the donation address. Let's all pledge some CHA today!

Also, I think we should have a promo to reward people who wager with their own existing CHA to encourage larger bets. It will be nice to see lots of newcomers betting with 1 CHA, but we also want to see Chancecoin regulars betting hundreds of CHA at a time. I propose:
1 CHA newbie promo: get 1 CHA free to gamble with
Pot sweetener promo: whoever wins the most during a two week period also wins 50 CHA (winner can be anybody)

All these depend on the data from authoritative website such as Yahoo whatever the data wrong or right.Set up the rule,no one will complain even sometimes the data is wrong.

You might think that, but you can't make it 100% sure that those result streams from those websites can't be manipulated.

If these functonalities get implemented, where it isn't 100% tamper proof, I will sell all my CHA.

not 100% but 99%. Or to put it differently, it would be so expensive and difficult to do that it would maybe make sense if the market cap of CHA is 10 billion US, but then the developer can still change the data source when that happens

Show me a datastream that no single person can manipulate that offers relatively correct odds for sporting events? What I'm saying is that sites that offer gambling rely on mediating. A single person there can fuck with the API stream and place bets. That wouldn't be expensive..

What I'm trying to say is, no Yahoo employee will risk losing his job to win maybe 5000 USD on a bet (assuming 1% maximum bet at 500k USD market cap). This will become relevant if the market cap climbs, though.

1. Yahoo doesn't provide such a stream, gambling sites do. I don't trust those sites.
2. You can place multiple bets, can't you? If you place 10000 bets with ridiculous payoffs, then you can win millions of CHA. Do the math.

Bingo, you have a CENTRAL PROBLEM = data feed for scores, results, financial prices.

Today, one cannot even get a reliable feed for the price of BTC.

The solution to this problem is as complex as the casino itself...
But if you solve the problem of a FEED PEOPLE CAN AGREE TO USE (right or wrong)...

I just downloaded Newbiecoin and was disappointed to see that the "world cup betting" feature only allows users to bet on two teams: the winner and runner-up of the entire world up tournament. It looks like Newbiecoin is using a centralized feed fed by the developers to settle that bet - I'm not sure I would trust that and call that decentralized. Furthermore, the dice betting on Newbiecoin is reduced to only allowing users to bet on a 50/50 bet. The website newbiecoin.org is also almost exactly the same as chancecoin.com website. Adopting the chancecoin protocol or codebase is one thing, but this is a gross and blatant act of plagiarism in my opinion.

XCP has an implementation of world cup betting xbet.io that functions and looks better than what Newbiecoin has in every way, but it had almost no positive effect on XCP valuation and no betting volume. You can't just make a coin with a main feature that works only for two weeks worth of world cup, does it just die after that?

I agree your first paragraph but dont agree the second. Everything is gonna die not only for coins but people and animals. So I believe world cup betting is a good thought which will engage more investors to the coin.
