I remembered when Canelo fought Mayweather last 2013 and from that fight, Canelo learned and trained from that fight. He gain all the knowledge, skill, and discipline which made him today's perfect warrior especially in his weight class. If I were to gamble and bet again (I vowed to stop), this would be one of the few exceptions that would let me gamble again.

Callum punches is no push over, but he may never had a great fight such as Canelo. Definitely a good fight, especially when the boxers likes to brawl this would be a good fight but i think Canelo would dominate this match considering he has face such Golovkin.
I wonder if Callum can match Canelo in his fighting style.

Canelo Alvarez (53-1-2) is back in action after November 2019 and win against russian Sergey Kovalev and winning WBO World Light-Heavyweight title.
In total he had 36 KOs so far.

Callum Smith (27-0) has great winning record and  19 KOs and he wanted this fight for a long time, and this will be great fight between Mexico and UK.

Odds suggest that Alvarez is heavy favorite in this fight with around 70% chance of winning and that is not surprising.
I am still waiting to see odds for this fight on some crypto bookies, and I could not find it on Sportsbet or any other I use.

Yes, just like the way they support Hatton during the Pacquaio fight. Really hard to beat Canelo on the scorecards, we have been GGG almost do it, but not enough for the judges scorecard. I tried checking their records but it seem that Canelo has been listed as Saul Alvarez so I am a little curious why there is a little change in their names.

Saul Alvarez is his real name, Canelo is like a name in the boxing world, like Floyld for Money or Manny for pacman, that's their alias and it's easy to recognize since it's just a short one.

If it's for money then it's all business. But it's also a good decision. Let us not use pacman as a comparison, he is a legendary and on a different level, an 8th division world champion that no boxer had achieved yet, so this fight is just an ordinary fight and either boxer has a chance of winning, but of course most of us go with the popular boxer as we think it's the better fighter.

This is as close as a cherry pick fight for Canelo. Yes, Caleb is undefeated and a champion but Canelo is just about in his prime and no one from Middleweight to Light Heavyweight that can defeat a version of Canelo right now. Perhaps Andre Ward, there have been talks but I don't know if its going to push through and get Andre out of his retirement.

It's a good decision for him and his team to get out of Golden Boy's contract. He can manage himself right now as he is one of boxing's premier attraction.

A close much for Canelo and this is not like his last fight cause he is fighting someone who hasn't been lost and at the same time a major contender and a champion on their weight class. I think this fight will be good if happen at the coliseum where lots of people cheering for their favorite fighters.

They're professional boxers so usually they know how to deal with someone who isn't their height, and has the height advantage. Its quite typical for a fighter to spar in training camp with boxers similar to the style of their opponent. Personally, I don't think there's much of an impact with height advantage as people try to make out. Of course, it has its factors but being taller than your opponent also leaves you open to certain type of attacks. Mike Tyson in his prime was one of the smaller boxers in terms of height, yet he fought on the inside, and made a massive career out of it. His ducking, weaving style is what made him so dangerous to those that were taller than him, and of course his killer uppercuts.

I have always thought of Tyson as an exception rather than the rule, it is true that he was incredible and if it was not for a series of very difficult circumstances for him it is possible his reign at the top of the boxing world would have lasted way longer, however he had all the skills to deal with his short height and even make it an advantage by getting so close to their opponent that their height became a problem, but for the rest that lack his skill and raw talent height difference can be really important especially if the taller boxer is very good at throwing his jab.

I don't think we've seen the best version of Callum either, and there's no way to tell if we'll see either fighter at their best in the up and coming fight. I would say, it'll be decided on points, and be within a point or two if I was going to make a prediction. I wouldn't advise anyone betting on this fight though, because it really could go anyway. Canelo has definitely got the experience to avoid a knockout, while Callum has definitely got experience, but he might be a little more prone to taking chances than Canelo.

While I see this fight being closer than what many imagine we also know that in the world of boxing fixing fights is a reality, to me if Callum wants to win he cannot hope to win by the judges since they are going to have a heavy bias towards Canelo and he will need to KO him.
