How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos?

Suppose you are referring that we can bet using bitcoin in a real-life casino. I think it will be unlikely to happen because others still find it convenient to use fiat currency in making purchases or bet using physical money. After all, you just need to hand them over the money. However, it will be useful to buy chips using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies; the only problem is paying a high transaction fee, and you need to have a good internet connection to complete your transaction. It is why betting using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is only suitable in online casinos; after all, bitcoin is made for online transactions.

Well, it is the same with everything else if you ask me. How long until you can go shop with crypto? You can do it in some places and can't do it in other places, it is accepted in some shops and it is not in some shops. So, what you need to have for this to work; a place where gambling is legal, a place where crypto is legal, a place that accepts bitcoin payments, a law that allows crypto to be paid in casinos to buy chips.

When you get all of this you are free to do whatever you want, but same logic applies to every product, like for coffee you need a place where crypto is legal, and a place where bitcoin is accepted that sells coffee, only difference here is that you need to have gambling legal there which is not legal everywhere and you would have the same result.

I haven't heard any but if there is a casino existing like that I am pretty sure they were only numbered. Currently there a lot of businesses are now going to accept Bitcoin and other cryptos so I am pretty sure that sooner or later physical casino will consider accepting Bitcoin as a bet, maybe after the pandemic.

I think mass adoption of cryptocurrencies will happen sooner or later so it will not be limited to online websites, take other big companies for example.

We cannot technically tell the exact date when will be that happens but looking at the rate of adoption right now, I am pretty sure that it's near.

Volatility, confirmation time and fees are three of the issues that needs to address first if casinos will accept Bitcoin as one of their option, unless these three issues are addressed I don't think the casinos will integrate it, but we never know three years from now if they will have a system that will fix all these issues.

I don't think volatility will be a problem here. I see confirmation time and the fees as an issue but in terms of volatility, no because since they've accepted bitcoin, they already know that it is volatile and they are ready for that. They could just base the exchange rate of it on other exchanges and work with it as they go.

I do think the most possible thing to happen in real life casino is that the casino accepts bitcoin as payment method only (to buy/sell the physical chips). Casinos will still using chips with fiat value instead of bitcoin as it will be easier for both casino and players to manage their bankroll. In my case, I can gamble with bitcoin in online casinos is a great opportunity already since I wont be able to gamble in real life casino as it is something prohibited in my country.

In theory it should not be long.When Bitcoin ATM-s will be as standard as bank ATM-s that will be the moment when we can play with crypto in real physical casinos.This is critical that Bitcoin ATM-s become standard or at least in big casinos so we can use crypto in those casinos.

As we are seeing, bitcoin is more applicable in online betting, real life casinos do use fiat as it's easier to use and less volatile. To be honest, it is easier to buy chips using fiat to play gambling in real life casinos than having to pay with Bitcoin.
Moreover, using Bitcoin still has several obstacles, such as volatility and high transaction fees. Therefore, it is unlikely

Each Countries has their Own policies and treatment regarding casino houses so thinking that there will

Merchant are accepting bitcoin or other currencies because they just only need to scan your code or send from wallet to wallet,
but what about in betting?how can you just use your crypto in wallet just like that?

Depend when your government allow to use bitcoin as legal currency payment transaction, I think all casino will accept bitcoin for betting after government legal using bitcoin as currency, or casino owner will give service for bitcoin member to use bitcoin as betting salary. Yes it will not take so long before they will accept bitcoin and other altcoins as their mode of payment, I think every business knows this and they have a plan to make some innovations to their business that possibly can bring them new people and new gamblers in the future. There is no difference at all, just a minor adjustment in terms of volatility and supply. Maybe 2 years from now , we can see bitcoin in real life casinos.

Just my opinion, I find gambling using bitcoins as a waste. Bitcoins are precious resources that has the potential to double-triple its price in the unforeseeable future. As a metaphor, it is like your gambling away your stocks in casinos that have a very unreliable chance for you to win. Though if you are that eager to gamble, then again, I would not judge your choices.

On the other hand for real life casinos that is still too big risk with lot of complications so I don't think they will make that move soon and it's really not necessary.

Well, gambling is also considered an art and one gambling is one of the precious activity to the life of a gambler. Actually, using bitcoin in a gambling is a big help. If you want to be anonymously without also getting notice to get into bigger bets by those chips around that are visible. This is why other gambling casino are using online betting through a digital currency controlled by a private key but it is not cryptocurrency. It was I think an upgrade of old casino platform like from traditional casino to e-casino.

If they don't want to lose their gamblers then they should adopt the changes and go online since if they will wait for everything to get normal for sure there gamblers already find a place where they enjoy playing. But I don't think all will settled to play on online casinos once it will introduced to them since for sure many will still prefer to go on offline casino once everything is normal since the enjoyment and gameplay are different if we play physically.

With a proper rules and preparation i think this confirmation time problem could be solved.
I mean there is third party service that can analyzed whether the transaction is safe from double spending pr any other malicious transactions etc , so it is something could be done.
Another possibility is by exchange your money with a chip worth of 1mbtc each for example , with this way you dont have to wait while making bets.
So by the end of the day when you try to cashout it is all in bitcoin .

Yes, that is what I said before.
Accepting bitcoin as a payment for their token/chips to play in the casino.
Because players dont want to spend more time to just place a quick playing bet.
Let say, slots game. You will need to play it quick and usually multiple times, paying with “online money” would be  terrible, unlesh the slots machine has a deposit mechanism.

First of all every country hasn't given access for the bitcoin access as well as for gambling. By this time talking about bitcoin into real life casinos has nothing to do. Maybe if the government is supportive then the casino owners can take necessary steps for the usage of bitcoin and give access to the gamblers.

In real life casinos we can see everyone are quite busy and keeps on staking and changing decisions. When one does this through bitcoin there is possible chances of delay due to the transaction congestion/confirmation. This will affect the gamblers mood, so various factors need to be considered before taking it to implementation.

With how the transaction going on, I don't think it can be done  at this point in time, I would like one day to walk in a physical casino and use my Bitcoin to play slot or any games in Casinos but I cannot wait at least 30 minutes before I can make a bet,  I am ok as long as there are ATM on every gambling casinos so I can exchange my Bitcoin to fiat and buy chips.
