This is not as easy as we think of it because of the current situation of Bitcoin in some part of the world where they still don't recognize it as safe investment. there are some countries who still hostile to bitcoin where they making it illegal on their people to own them. nevertheless, we are from for that kind of scenario and we still need to promote the use of it to gather more people to join us using bitcoin as a means of payment or any other services.

what is interesting about countries banning bitcoin is that they'll just stay behind in terms of innovation
when people talk about the great economic reset this should be included:
countries that change part of their treasures to crypto will definitely have an advantage.
Cryptocurrency will lead the world very soon over physical fiat. Commonly, people can change their minds anytime. If they want they can stop using physical fiat and start to use cryptocurrency in their daily lives if they have a permit to use it in their country. Legalization is the main fact here.
In this way, the betting house can start accepting bitcoin as their payment method then it can be used. Many organizations already started it and many houses accepting it through crypto. If the country has permission then there are no obstacles to use it randomly.

As of now i didn't see any good sign that cryptocurrency will take over the dominance of fiat currency circulating around the whole nation of one country. May be crypto will become one of the currency that will revolve around a global economic but this can't subside as currency circulating inside of one country. Still the used of fiat currency of a particular country would still be the prefer currency and a plus factor if the people knows how to deal with bitcoin for business or investment purposes.
No sign?-- I don't think so. PayPal accepting Cryptocurrency, many organizations already accepted cryptocurrency and announced to accept more currency soon which belongs to crypto ultimately. Only one thing can't change the whole world so we need to raise our voice supporting Cryptocurrency. Government will take proper action to legalize this and will strick for illegal activities to be done by using cryptocurrency. Then we can hope that after legalization process, we may expect it to be used in online and offline shops as payment methods. By following this way, cryptocurrency will be accepted in a whole and step by step it can be considered as a regular currency like fiat. Yes, its a long process but we can start atleast.

I think this is one of the reasons why adoption is slowing down,

Maybe paypal will accelerate the adaption of bitcoin when they will start with paying in bitcoin next year.
But don't think Im happy with paypal

the big thing with Paypal that will really tell their intentions with crypto is the possibility ofbeing able to withdraw BTC from paypal and being able to hold your own coins.
if they don't allow you to have your keys it's simply a joke.
of course it helps, but could even be detrimental to users as they could create fraction reserve cryptocurrency.

I think it would really took a long time. As you can see physical casinos should be regulated and have license since they could be really in a serious trouble if they don't manage to get one and since it's license and regulated I don't think the government would like to know that cryptocurrency or Bitcoin is being used in the casino.

you have a point right there but still there but only time could tell, just lately paylpal who is just one of the biggest online financial service provider started to accept bitcoin on their platform so you may not know maybe next year or the next year after they physical casino would start accepting bitcoins.

but, just playing the devil's advocate here:
does physical casinos usually accept paypal?
I don't think so.

not sure why Paypal discussion started on this thread: I see the relation on saying it brings broader adoption of crypto, but that's it.

It will not take that long for sure especially to those casinos that freely accepts crypto currencies. Once the government of a certain landbase casino are not against in using crypto currencies then this will serve as a bridge for it to happen where we can enjoy using bitcoin or other crypto currencies in betting to a landbase casino.

Let's say that 2-5 years from now there will be few casinos that will announce this kind of news that they are already accepting bets in bitcoin to their landbase casinos.

Well in some casinos like in the real casino are already accepting bitcoin when betting. If you are familiar with e-games or e-casino that are accepting digital currency may it be fiat currency or via load wallet (certain digital currency in a card use only for gambling). If bitcoin will be integrated then there is no problem with that because it has been started already. I can guarantee that using bitcoin in betting is really an ideal for being an anonymous and the bad people around that are only watching and waiting for you to go home robbing you out could no longer trace you or someone in betting. It will make betting secured.
I don't feel familiar with e-games or e-casino because I don't search for other gambling games. If I feel enjoy with the current gambling games or the online gambling website, I will play on that site many times, but sometimes, I will try to visit the other site which I think is attractive for me.

But there still needs more time for bitcoin to be integrated into the existing casino, especially if that casino uses fiat or digital currency, as you said. Maybe the owner and the team need to learn more details on how they can take the benefits of bitcoin if bitcoin is added to their site.

But yes, by using bitcoin in betting, that can hide people from the tracking for who the gambling site members are. Still, I don't think that will not be easy because, in the casino, based on fiat, the members need to verify themselves before they can deposit or withdraw the money. But I am not sure about that because I don't play on that type of site.

~I am very sure that in the next few years, Bitcoin will begin to be used as an exchange (a type of coin) in many casinos to make it easier for users,

It's happening already in some land based casinos: you can pay for food and services with BTC, and you can rent a room with it, and you can exchange your Bitcoin for cash in ATMs, conveniently placed on the casino premises. And when most places will recognize BTC as money, you will be able to buy anything with it, including casino chips.
What name of the casino who is accepting bitcoin for the payment or for the chips?. We know there is a lot of store accepting the bitcoin including online and even the traditional store are accepting this coin so I glad there is a lot of business accepting crypto hoping to see an altcoins o like ethereum and ripple which is more advatanges in transaction fees which is much lower than the bitcoin.

I read this article saying "The only brick-and-mortar casino that currently offers Bitcoin gambling is the Merit Hotel Nicosia in Cyprus.". But it was published in February 2018, and, as of today, it looks like it is no longer the case. There are also many articles about the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas accepting BTC for foods and services, but those articles are even older, 2014-2015. It looks like  there is no new info on this topic.

Yes that's what I am thinking, few more years bitcoin will be accepted as mode of payment in every casinos, maybe also the reward amount can be in bitcoin or eth depending on the top coins in that year it will be adopted, but I guess 2020 is the year if bitcoin where it is heard in more countries now and lot of people are aware to what bitcoin is and how do they trade, gambled and mine bitcoin so I think in able to make every casinos in the trend, they will accepts bitcoins soon.

Why pay with bitcoins in a place that is full of cameras? Why to be able to tie your bitcoin adress to your photo and you can identify the owner of the bitcoin  adress. Of course, if you agree to pass KYC on the stock exchanges or anywhere else, it is not a problem. But those people who want to be anonymous at the crypto market are unlikely to pay in an ordinary casino bitcoins.

I think here in my country there is a land based casinos accepting Bitcoin already, but of course the majority of the
gamblers here are not quite familiar with Bitcoin that's why most of the Bitcoin fanatic they've used to play in online in the cryptocurrency
Just like we saw here in crypto space.
I think this is one of the reasons why adoption is slowing down, we want businesses to accept bitcoin as a form of payment and that is completely natural but at the same time we do not want to spend it and we are holding it in the hopes the market does what it is doing right now and skyrockets, so businesses eventually realize that there are not a lot of people using their bitcoin to pay for their services and then they decide to drop this form of payment and then we complain about it.
No that's not what's stopping or delaying Bitcoin adoption because the government standpoint against Bitcoin is whats somehow delaying Bitcoin adoption but we can't blame crypto investors/enthusiasts to see Bitcoin more as an asset than a currency cause it will be a foolish idea not to hold more coins than spending it. However, the last time i checked most crypto holder are fans of online gambling site not physical.

People's awreness has increase after this pandemic, those who are not interested before seen the advantages and usages of
this system, not just a pump and dump project but real usage has been offer.

We can remove the fact that since there are businesses who already catering bitcoin and other known crypto ciurrencies adoptions
within more business such as gambling is not far to happen.

I hope there will be more adoption to come especially for gambling sites on lightning network, it would help to make transaction in an instant. however, I would like to comment on bitcoin and kYC, i think that is not necessary, casinos just have to issue a chips once you have already deposited in their bitcoin address, in fact ,when you go to the casino, you can enjoy gambling even them not knowing your real identity.

Casinos does not put any exemption, if you are playing in a physical casino and they require KYC, they would require it to every gambler,
I just want to know what is the reason a physical casino asks its customer to tell them their identity, is that really necessary ?
I don't think KYC is necessary in a physical casino because players should be able to play without anyone knowing, including casinos.

If you are using Lightning Network it will be more complicated for them to track you, moreover you can use BTC tumblers to preserve your anonymity.

Of course, if you want to pay with bitcoin car you can go to any difficulties just to do it. However, put yourself in the place of an ordinary person. He goes to the casino to relax and have a rest. He is already mentally at the table or the slot machine and enjoys the game. And here at the cashier's desk someone makes him wait for his transaction to be confirmed by the network. People will choose the payment method that is more convenient.
For the interest of course I would try to buy chips for bitcoins. However, in the next few times I would buy the chips in the most convenient way for me.

As time passes, the usage areas of bitcoin will of course expand and grow. It is used in many areas of our lives, let's not think of it only for gambling games. If it attracts more and more attention, its usage areas will become more widespread.

KYC on casinos are not even a thing, all they expect from you is money and yourself. The question is on how long we can wait until Bitcoin can be used in casinos. I think that question can only be answered once it is already used within supermarkets and many necessities that people need. Casinos are a higher tier of business so it would take a longer time for them to study on what are the pros and cons of Bitcoin once they will be using it.

Bitcoin have multipurpose use and using in gambling is just one of an option. As mass adoption keeps on happening, bitcoin would be more accepted to pay for goods and services and for casinos as well. Might be where already bitcoin is accepted widely in those counties, casinos as well can start accepting it.

As long as regular casinos do not see the potential profit in accepting bitcoins for payment, they will not change anything in the payment methods. Even in this topic, some people wrote that they would not want to pay with a bitcoin at a regular casino. Each person has its own reasons. However, all this is expressed in the fact that among the huge flow of customers of ordinary casinos, those who are willing to pay with a bitcoin is very little, it is good if you get a few percent.
In online gambling, many peoples agree to pay with bitcoins, because it is convenient and profitable, as well as confidential.
