the fact is ethereum still has good value and supply in the market.
this is a sign that it is not easy to find good coins.

For now there is nothing that deserves to replace Ethereum, because Ethereum's performance is still very good compared to other altcoins.
Moreover, the demand for Ethereum continues to increase with the DeFi trend this year, this is what makes Ethereum irreplaceable. There are
some altcoins that have the same functionality as Ethereum, but none is as good as Ethereum.

There is no need to wait for that, because ETH is already much more useful than new tokens whose platforms are not well known at all, so what I am amazed at is why the OP asked such a question, did he not see most new tokens using the platform from ETH.

He only asked about potential coins like ethereum which are doing well. There may be coins born from the ethereum network that will make it big.
but if I see potential, I'm interested in TWT and CTSI. I don't recommend it but this is just my interest and still in my study process.

Toughest question to ask anyone how is it possible for anyone to possible tell you what would replace Ethereum? How exactly do you think that can be done? When Ethereum had not been launched I believe someone somewhere must have asked what the next bitcoin would be.

Nobody can possibly tell you the next Ethereum or what other coin can individualise its existence; I'm currently pondering over these which might have triggered you to ask this question 1. Which next coin to do wonders as you have missed Ethereum from ICO/IEO so, you can beautifully invest there.
2. Maybe you're warming up with something you think can be a benchmark when Ethereum success is being mentioned.

some people thinking in wrong definition about ethereum competitors. most of them use " replace or kill " ethereum not as you said an alternative platform that provide same or even better platform services. if recognized all smartcontract platform as an alternative , we will find which is best for us and price will maintained.

The question is whether they can cover ethereum's scaleability? even now there are good projects like polkadot which they said have better technology and offer better scaleability. I think if we had to compare it, compare it from a technology perspective, then it would make more sense

that's not true at all caused by they are building their own platform use their own consensus, ethereum was able to creating the new innovation called smartcontract. Remember about the solidity was also creating by ethereum too.

It's not only about the technical aspect that owned by those platforms but people are trusting ethereum caused by this platform has been giving a big change into the crypto industry

The question is whether they can cover ethereum's scaleability? even now there are good projects like polkadot which they said have better technology and offer better scaleability. I think if we had to compare it, compare it from a technology perspective, then it would make more sense

Well, no hate to the lovely Ethereum Blockchain but i'm sure that you all started to hussle and to hate these big fees and even the rich people can notice that 6$ per transaction is alot. imagine someone paying 100 transactions through Ethereum, that's 600$ in fees, Fuck it man! that's not logical and that's not affordable by each and every crypto user. Either they work on scaling their network TPS and Capacity either polkadot or any other powerful blockchain could steal the position. I really love Ethereum alot but they are making us feel ashamed these days..

I am confused, why people always ask about which coin will be the next Ethereum and sometimes people also compare Ethereum with other coin, in my opinion there is no other coin that can replace Ethereum at any time, because many people still believe to investing and using Ethereum, so that makes Ethereum very popular until now and nothing will be the next Ethereum until whenever, because Ethereum will remain in its position forever and no other coin can replace it.

I noticed that several projects have been said to the a worthy competitor of ethereum, but non has been able to stand tall like ethereum. I remember Neo was once said to be the Chinese ethereum and as we speak its a nowhere to be found. I personally don't see any worth competitor to  ethereum presently.

There won`t be any next ethereum in a long years to come but an alternative will surely pop up one day and create a name of its own and take a place in the top, many speculate back in 2019 that eth is losing its popularity from TRON and EOS because of the developer shifting but still eth is the king of smart contract up to now.

I wonder why people are always thinking of coins that could possibly replace Bitcoin and Ethereum. As for me, any coin with a huge potential could be like these top coins. For now, Ethereum has passed lots of tests of time that's why it's also one of the top coins that we have but if other coins could also reach the same achievements, they could also be on top but it doesn't mean that it has to replace Ethereum.

Maybe, Ripple will be the possible Altcoins after ETH. Because many people remember Ripple and ETH are two very nasty opponents, both of these altcoins are very valuable and potential.When Bitcoin is back and altcoins are rising prices I believe Ripple will be a competitor of ETH.

I am worried that while people are still worried about which altcoin will replace ethereum, ethereum continues to grow away from other altcoins. I think so far, a lot of coins are pretty good at competing with Ethereum. however, like bitcoin, ethereum also currently holds the title of king of altcoins, and no coin has ever replaced it even when it has a high price tag.

I would not say the next ethereum but if you check out the utilities and use cases I find Tron TRX to be the closest to ethereum ecosystem as tron is almost offering all the same services that ethereum does with faster and cheaper transactions but eth is more popular, more practical and has more adoption so it will not be an easy task for anyother project to even come close to ethereum.
