This type of comparison is not worthy. In this market there are no alts available which can reach ethereum s space. Ethereum is the most used platform based token with a huge marketcap. It has its own fanbase and dev base. In in profit factors maybe there are alts which can give hard competition but that wouldn't be next ethereum. Cause touching ethereums marketcap is at this point is just impossible for nay alts available in the market.

Most of the time when I see questions like this it make me want to laugh my eyes out, there is no coin that can be ethereum never. You need to understand that ethereum is ethereum and other coins are also other coins. Ethereum will always be ahead no matter how solid any project it.

I am really liking Tezos right now.  They already have wrapped usd, btc, and eth tokens.  They use price oracle that pays the contract from staking. Very elegant design. So we will see.  I definitely am accumulating and staking slowly a nice bag.

I wouldn't say next ETH cuz ETH has  a strong community having its back and is a  very firm and strong crypto currency .
ETH grew from $125 in Jan 2020 to $635 in Dec 2020. The market cap value of ETH was $72 billion in DEC 2020 second highest to BTC,
with $13 billion trade value after USDT and BTC.

I am worried that while people are still worried about which altcoin will replace ethereum, ethereum continues to grow away from other altcoins. I think so far, a lot of coins are pretty good at competing with Ethereum. however, like bitcoin, ethereum also currently holds the title of king of altcoins, and no coin has ever replaced it even when it has a high price tag.
Altcoins could easily replace each other. It's not a new thing that sometimes when a really good altcoin project comes out the rank in CMC for example changing.

When there's some massive pump ongoing on certain alts it could easily take over the position aswell like how XRP did to ETH in the past. Doesn't matter how big ETH if its dominance still nowhere near BTC then it could easily be replaced.

For the time being no token has the potential to surpass ethereum with the large daily volume and the importance of eth in erc20 token transactions the only way that a token can compete against it is to create an altcoin with its own network and that has more advantages over eth.

is the next ethereum is still on Tron, because in Tron fees for transactions are really very cheap,
sending 1 USDT only requires a few TRX with an estimate below $ 0.5,
this is very different from Ethereum which requires $ 1- $ 5 fees just for transactions.

At the moment, no any altcoin can even catch up with Ethereum, and it is certainly impossible to overtake Ethereum, so I don't think that in the near future there will be at least one altcoin that will be as popular as Ethereum, although there is one altcoin that may be able to compete in the future with Ethereum and its Binance coin.

It is impossible because ethereum is the mother currency of crypto world. Most important, it has a huge network combination. I think,Ethereum is always holding its position.

Market shows that Tron is going that direction, I don't know if it could ever become like ethereum, because ethereum is by far the best altcoin there is and nothing can beat it by the looks of it, but at least we could say that Tron is taking the similar steps towards that.

You can create tokens of your own from Tron blockchain and it has metamask type of wallets where you can store all those tokens, having your own blockchain ecosystem does bring you to higher level than other projects at least. Plus it is very cheap, and I mean like free levels of cheap or at worst it is very cheap like maybe 1 dollar at most. This is why I believe if we were to say any coin to be like ethereum, I could say that it would be Tron, it has the same path and hopefully it will go up like that as well in the future too, so it is a great decision to invest to it a bit.

If you are sending it from the exchange site and it needs almost zero USD as the dollar estimation for the transaction fees on tron network
that's very amazing thing to see that. This time A few dollars could be the new standard to create a transaction in ethereum network. Imagine when we wanna do 5 or more txs and that will need a lot of money.

Tron is just another overhyped coin. If low fee is the sole criteria, then we have hundreds, if not thousands of options available. What we need is a platform, which has good acceptability as well as scalability. Tron has some acceptability, but it has remained stagnant for some time now. I would rather prefer platforms which are growing in acceptability, such as Binance Chain.

there is none and there will be no next ethereum for altcoin in the future, the thing is in what terms are we gonna compete ethereum with other shit? if it is a price then sure any coins could surpass that, but in terms of community and how strong the support is then none of the coins out there even compete eth, not even close

There is no need to wait for that, because ETH is already much more useful than new tokens whose platforms are not well known at all, so what I am amazed at is why the OP asked such a question, did he not see most new tokens using the platform from ETH.
He only asked about potential coins like ethereum which are doing well. There may be coins born from the ethereum network that will make it big.
but if I see potential, I'm interested in TWT and CTSI. I don't recommend it but this is just my interest and still in my study process.

Exactly, i just want a smaller cap coin similar with ETH...some guys showed me this ZNN, any suggestions?

I like this project, I have some znn but not enough for a node Huh...

what about BNB?
With the Binance Smart Chain, they seem to be serious about developing the Dapps platform. If you look at the speed, and the technology used by BNB is superior to Ethereum, it may only be a matter of time for BNB to become the next Ethereum.

TRON is not only about low fees. It's EVM compatible which makes it easier to port Ethereum code to TRON. And they took some really good features from other chains.

If you want to find the next BTC or the next Ethereum, you must know the technology or characteristics required for the development of the blockchain. Ethernet brings us smart contracts, and Bitcoin brings us blockchain. Development depends on what technology we need. Want to know who is the next cryptocurrency? See what technology he brings to us? quantum?

Yes, this is another advantage that the TRON token has and not other tokens in the crypto space, meaning that TRON has unique things that can benefit everyone who uses it for different purposes.

Well, tron is one of the best altcoins in the market. It could possibly will going to be the next ethereum. However, there are some altcoins in the market now that are also doing better like the stable coins but I do not know if stable coins could be qualified to become the next ethereum due to its characteristics which is a stable currency. Other than that XRP is next in line and that could be near to beat ethereum even in the past.

Actually this Zenon is looking better TRX or XRP.You can stake it so ez , I like to invest in assets that can bring real value to their ecosystem, not only store of value, the future is digitalizade. You can check them out on medium.
