Is it right time to Buy Alt coins now?

I'm not sure if we can see the pump of the altcoins just like the year 2018 of January. I don't think if this is the right time to buy altcoins but if you planning to hold for long term then I guess you can buy it now but for me, not good to buy now maybe I will wait the down prices of the altcoins then that's the right time to buy.

Time is already peaking so it's best to wait for a large drop back to make it easier for you to buy some good tokens. But if you feel you will get a loss you should buy it now.

Better assessment and good timing will allow you to gain good compensation inside this market, don't buy if you are unsure with the market movement.

Very well said. It is never good to make buying decision of any asset for investment including digital crypto without proper Fundamental and Technical analysis. Mostly people follow Technical analysis which is totally based on Historical Data. What happened yesterday same will happen tomorrow because History always repeats itself. Typically, Human behaviour never changes. If we follow Technical analysis then we should start buying in Top 10 Alts when BTC Dominance comes down to 60% or even less.

Agree, altcoins will improve its performance only when the price of Bitcoin stables, when the price of Bitcoin drops, we might see there is a huge drop in altcoin and it will easily give opportunity to the investors to grab some potential altcoins. I can not 100% agree with you that buying altcoin for a cheaprate current time will be good to earn profit. An Article on internet said that when the bitcoin dominiance increasing like current time, People will more willing to hold and buy bitcoin rather than altcoin (it can be the reason bitcoin's price increase and altcoin's price decreasing). Holding altcoin at such time would be a losing trade and a significant oportunity cost. Refference

Buying altcoins these days depend on the your purpose and the altcoin that you're going to buy. If it's for a long term hodl, then it's not the best time for you to enter the market because most altcoins these days follow the Bitcoin trend which is too risky to buy. You better wait for the dip if you'll just hodl but if you're planning to trade then try to look for good coins and make sure that you're ready to deal with its movement. I personally think that it is the Right time to take entry in Good Alt coins ( Ranking from 2 to 20 on coinmarketcap). I believe that History of 2017 will be repeated soon. We will soon witness Huge rally in Alts. It should happen when BTC will stabilize around current levels and BTC dominance Index comes down to below 60%.

The current bull run is all focused on Bitcoin alone, I can barely see any of the top 20 altcoins pumping hard, they are just moving normally just pump a little then dump if bitcoin pumps/dumps, I don't think we are going to have another altcoins season like in 2017 where altcoins were pumping insanely, the present bull run is hell bent on Bitcoin, i can see Ethereum following close by due to the ETH 2.0 which will be launched anytime soon, aside from this as a trader the best time to buy/invest is when the coin/token is at a low price. .

For the most part whenever someone tries to outsmart the market they are the ones that end up being outsmarted by the market, right now there is no need to try to invest in altcoins thinking they are going to make a comeback, right now the attention of everyone is on bitcoin so invest there if you want to make some profits, there will be a time for altcoins to shine but right now is not the moment as the market cap of bitcoin is approaching 70% once again.

Today we are seeing ETH rally from $ 625 to $ 700 and currently ETH price around $ 685 is likely to go up again and I believe that by the end of this year at least the minimum ETH price can reach $ 750. It's currently priced at $28k+ now, and the dominance has grown up to 69% since Ripple has been dumping due to the lawsuit, IMO I don't think there will be an altcoins rally, you want to know why? judging from what I'm seeing during this present bull run, altcoins are just dumping with no significant increase, the only altcoins trying to keep up with bitcoin's pace are Litecoin and Ethereum ( eth touched $700 today) the rest of the altcoins are just red,just pump and dump nothing else.

There is more chance for an altcoin bull season. Probably the present market is stabilizing for a big growth without much of downward movement. I don't really think if now is the right time to buy Altcoins because most of the traders are more focused on Bitcoin right now, since bitcoin is the head of the news because of its rapid increase. Time will come that Altcoins will also increase like bitcoint, but for now, have patience. Just wait for it to be the highlights.

For me it is never too late to buy bitcoin, depending on the vision and mission we want, for short trade or long term. In the short term it is never too late because we can make profits from the altcoins we buy quickly. for example, in the last two days I have gotten quite a lot of profit from DOGE and TFUEL, ZIL, because their pump is quite fast, until now Doge is still a pump and I can take advantage of the difference.
But for long-term investment, it is still possible because BTC is still at 34K with predictions this year will be more than 50K. In essence, it's better to buy than sorry to see crypto price increases without us owning the assets.
