Why are people still buying XRP?

People still trust xrp regardless of bad issues. I also invest in xrp and in the past month I do not lose rather I doubled my investment because its price rise simultaneously with btc and eth. It only means that they are fixing the problem.

The first point that we need to think about this story is that we are in an opportunistic market, filled with fraud and ambiguous news, as long as we have certain loopholes in our mentality and decisions, whales and those who control this game will thoroughly use those factors to manipulate and make more money for them, Ripple is a prime example of manipulation. Therefore, people still believe that ripple is a wrong thought, people only believe in the chance that can happen, many people are afraid but they still buy simply because investing is buying when others panic

Because it was influenced by Fomo, many people were interested because Fomo made the price of ripple rise again so rapidly, no wonder that until now, ripple still survived because their large community and investors made the price of ripple still survive if was an investor out and maybe later the price of ripple would befalls and losses in cryptocurrency can all happen quickly.

People believe in XRP (Ripple) even with a lawsuit because they face the same issue in the past but able to dodge it, at the same time maybe they believe that with XRP(Ripple)  they will become a millionaire like what other holders of other currency like bitcoin, ethereum, etc., we have different beliefs in life, maybe they are just following their guts, that someday the clouds will be clear.

Seems people still believe in XRP. Also seems there is no big deal for them with the current lawsuit. Another point that many traders and investors think that since its price is very less, it can be accumulated in huge numbers, and in the future, it may give good returns.

Speculators are speculators. Crypto people were investing in scam tokens knowing they were scams. Investing in ICOs they had no clue about. IEOs just because they were promoted everywhere.

Defi because they know they can get in early and make a killing.

XRP looks like that. Something cheap to buy to make a killing when the lawsuit is forgotten.

It is natural that the price of a cryptocurrency may go up or down.  But we need to buy at the right time and sell through good profit income.  My biggest loss in 2018 was buying XRP.

I'm also confused about why, after the SEC issue, other people are still buying XRP, because most exchanges have removed XRP from the list, so if people are constantly XR  If you buy P, it will be a big risk. Ripple (XRP) is still worth buying to be honest, XRP bullish potential to $1.0 remains intact despite recent pullback and lot's of people are still buying XRP coz' if you really into it, you'll find out the current status of their lawsuit case against SEC and they're winning against that case.

There are lots of coins to choose around this market why bother to buy if you don't understand the risk that you are going to take, if you have good amount of money, maybe you can spare some.

With the hope that SEC issue will be resolved, it's true that confidence from the investors side might comeback if XRP team will manage
to take of this issue, expect a  huge pump after.

They are not buying to keep the XRP like holding it for good. They are buying to trade it. I used it most of the time to transfer funds from one exchange to another because its fast and the fees don't hurt you like ETH. Anyone who wants to save their dollar will also find ways to spend the bare minimum and XRP just gives us a solution to it.

After any court decision - in favor of the SEC or Ripple Labs, regardless, the price of ripple will rise. This will happen because the court decision should not be associated with any restrictions or prohibitions on the circulation of the ripple coin itself. The essence of the SEC's claim is not relevant on this issue. Almost all responsibility should be borne by the two directors of this company through the payment of penalties.
Ripple was removed from the listing only on the US stock exchange and this should be regarded as illegal pressure from the SEC, but these are temporary measures.

We will never know how opportunities come to us. Maybe that could be Ripple by some investors thought. Although 22 February we could receive a good announcement from Ripple, which means lawsuit problem could be solved. I won't buy any XRP even after solving this issue. Although I'm very surprised that Ripple prices are still stable as last year.

The lawsuit will be solved in favor of Ripple and the price will be pumped hardly by the market after the positive news. The 20 xrp is the cost for creating a new wallet but you can always use exchange wallets for holding the XRP. It is always profitable to buy low and sell while the price high, the market has declined to $0.2 which is cheap to invest more. I always send $10 worth XRP to gambling wallet and last time I send a triple less amount to the wallet address because of the %300 pump.

I won't comment something like XRP to the moon or anything close to that but I always like using XRP because the transaction fees is really low and the fastest transactions if ever among all crypto currency I have seen, it has to be XRP. There might be faster ones out there but from al the coins I have used, I haven't seen any coins or tokens being faster. Only TRX comes near to XRP in that regard.

I don't know why people stopped using XRP and bashing it, just because they have a lawsuit against them. Yes they have some problems going on but how does that affect us as neutral users at all. I am really happy the price is recovering and the trust is coming back.

same here, too risky. will definitely wait until the legal problem settled first but then again I doubt i'm gonna buy coin like XRP which many people deemed shady.
There's better alternative than a coin that could vanish into thin air and the alternative sometimes performs better too, yeah I'm talking about coin that has market cap above XRP.

I think in my opinion XRP has good features considering famous cryptocurrencies have High Fees, In my part, I'm using Uphold account to withdraw my BAT tokens, I'm converting it to XRP first then into my Main wallet very convenient and efficient plus the majority of 3rd party wallet supports it
