Reading the buzz, I thought many would join but it turned out to be the tournament with lowest attendance among all series. Pretty comfortable win for me, for most of the part I got favorable hands. Knocked out 5 out of 6 players and got 10 points (which I think would be more than necessary considering the participation as we go).

Yeah you ran like a god ! I almost knocked you out with my pocket 9 and another 9 show up on the river making a straight for you . That was the moment that I know you are running like a god lol

Not at all because I wouldnt ever play 39 off in any position. Unless I fold pocket 9 for some reason and two other 9 show up on the board then that would leave a disgusting taste on my mouth

Yesterday I wasn't as much dissappointed by my result as by the number of participants, 7. I was upset by the fact from the very beginning, and couldn't play good in that state.

Here's how I finished:



After preflop raise by webtricks, I went all-in with my pocket Jacks, and lost the showdown to webtricks' AK suited



which wasn't bad luck, imo, because in my book AK suited is slightly better than JJ.

But again I wasn't disappointed by the game itself. After all, I finished in the bottom 3 with @iv4n and @icopress. I was in a good company!

I usually don't regret fold, but in this particular case, I could have been biting my elbows if I was in the big blind and folded, (if the raise was no larger than the blind).

webtricks, by the way, how are things going with early bets? The only catch is how to calculate the rates correctly. I am not an expert in coefficients calculation, but as far as I understand, we should first consider the probability of a certain player hitting the final table, (and only then can the probability of the outcome of the series be calculated). The question is how to correctly summarize these coefficients and make allowances for new players who will join the upcoming games.

We are on the road to BTTPS, last week I made a deposit at about + / - $ 35k (BTC price) and due to the late fee it reached + $ 31K so which I have about 10.57 euros.

Not everything is as easy as it seems ... To get to the main tournament you need to win 3-4 satellites, although getting a ticket playing in the freeroll is quite easy. Actually the information aims more than reaching  us (regular players of the series) is for those who want to get into the series in some way.

So far it is the first tournament that I play except for some other where I register out there in the past days that I play apart from the series.

famososMuertos, If you are talking about freerolls and their satellites as a means of earning money to pay for the buy-in in a BPS tournament, then I think 15 dollars is not such a big amount. I even suggested several times to my forum friends to join on the terms that I would cover the costs of the first game, but apparently it's not just about money.

Community spirit is the only reason I try not to miss Sunday games. Although some may mistakenly think that BPS members pay weekly buy-in just because of the attractive prize pool, (anyone who delves into this will understand that for the amount of BPS buy-in, you can easily get tickets to tournaments whose prize pool is several times larger than the Grand Final fund).

Yeah , there is a total disconnect in the fact  you mention, it seems it is not about money.

Well alot of us learn while we play. IIRC only Iv4n , yahoo, steamtyme , FOMA, obaming and efialtis were considered to be good back in the day and others were pretty much fish newbie when it comes to poker
