everyone knows that participation in European competitions takes a lot of energy, especially for teams with relatively short benches. that's why Ajax's potential participation in the Champions League or Europa League would help PSV next season. and now PSV will be able simply enjoy football without lookong at the result.

In my opinion, teams that participate in European competitions have a significant advantage compared to teams that don't, because the finances of those participating teams increase. They earn money from ticket sales at European competitions, they can secure more sponsorship, and UEFA also gives them money, if I'm not mistaken, it seems to be for qualifying and at each stage they advance. With more money, they will have greater financial power to hire good players. By the way, at the moment Ajax is losing to PSV. Even playing at home, they remain weak.

When you enter the game, I doubt that someone thinks so deep. Yeah, maybe Ajax would get more difficult calendar, but as you said, playing in Champions league would give them significantly more money. After all, even if it's meaningless game for you, you're playing with your historical rival and it's big factor.
It was great game and Ajax managed to grab 1 point after late goal. Not good result for Ajax, but they got unexpected gift from Telstar who played with Nijmegen 1:1.

Classic Ajax vs PSV draw. I stopped watching the game at 1-1 and went off to see the Barcelona game. I can't say I was expecting much from either team because Ajax is likely chasing UCL spot that they won't get and PSV had nothing to play for except fun and maybe for pride? I really hope that next season, one of these teams would be able to challenge PSV for the title because there's not been a strong contender in recent years.

In the first match of the day, we watched Utrecht take on NAC Breda. NAC Breda lost control of the game entirely after being reduced to 10 men in the first half. Despite playing with 10 men from the 35th minute onward, they held on well until the final minutes of the match, but the home team scored two goals in the last five minutes to secure a 2-0 victory. With this victory, Utrecht raised its points total to 47 and maintained its 8th-place position.
Excelsior Groningen, fighting to stay in the league, secured a crucial three points with a goal in the final minute of their away match. It looks like Excelsior’s fight to stay in the league will continue until the final week. Groningen, however, has fallen behind in the race for the top 8 following this loss and will likely not finish in the top 8.

Ajax failed to capitalize on its opportunity. Despite having the chance to defeat a rival like PSV at home, it could only manage a draw thanks to a last-minute goal. It’s hard to say they played particularly well against PSV. If Twente wins away at AZ Alkmaar, they’ll have a chance to overtake them. The fact that Ajax couldn’t capitalize on such a golden opportunity shows they won’t qualify for the Champions League. Had they won, they would have had a chance to move up to third place, since Telstar also drew with NEC Nijmegen.

Feyenoord managed to secure a win on the road against Fortuna Sittard and claimed all three points. The match ended goalless in the first half, but Fortuna Sittard managed to take the lead early in the second half. We must say it was a thrilling match as it entered the final minutes. Fortuna Sittard, down to 10 men after receiving a red card in the 80th minute, ultimately lost the match after conceding two goals in the closing minutes. We must note that these three points were crucial for Feyenoord in their quest to finish second in the league.

Feyenoord second spot is almost certain, they only need one more point to secure it. For UEFA Champions League, it would be better to have the best of the best teams here so they don't humiliate themselves in this European competition later. I don't appreciate seeing Ajax Amsterdam for example being one of the last teams in the ranking. They are destroying their reputation.
I find PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord, maybe AZ Alkmaar too as more stable than the other teams and worth to play UEFA competitions, mainly Europa League and Conference League.. In Champions League, it is better to have more investments to stay competitive.

AZ Alkmaar and Twente couldn’t beat each other. AZ Alkmaar has already secured a spot in the top 8, but Twente has different goals. They still have a chance to finish in the top 4. If they hadn’t conceded a goal in the final minute of this match, we might be talking about a very different outcome.

The only advantage that I can see right considering this matter is the fact that PSV would enjoy some financial benefits as a result of their participation in the UCL and also some privileges which includes rescheduling of some of their games especially when they have Champions League matches during the week as they do in France, clubs with UCL status or Europa status often enjoy such privileges and that's what PSV is likely going to experience come next season

PEC Zwolle has secured its place in the league. Their victory over Heracles was crucial for them, and the three points they earned were invaluable. Heracles had already been relegated, but their effort was commendable.

Ajax have been extremely lucky this weekend.
I don't even mean the stoppage time goal by Godts that earned them a point against PSV, but the fact that both of their biggest rivals in the fight for the 3rd place (that grants participation in the Champions League qualifiers) also failed to win their games.
It's hard to blame Twente. They played away against AZ Alkmaar, so earning a point in that game is not something to be ashamed of. But NEC failed big time. They played at home against Telstar, a team currently placed 15th. Winning that game would give NEC 3 points advantage with a better goal difference. With only 2 rounds to go, that would be massive. But they are still only 1 point ahead, so anything can happen.

It looks like Feyenoord is the only team from the top 7 that managed to win their game. If they win against Zwolle in the next round (with Zwolle not having much to play for anymore) their 2nd place will be safe.

I personally had predicted that Ajax would win the match against PSV given Ajax’s strong motivation to further secure their spot in the Champions League qualifying round or even perhaps because PSV had already secured their place in the Champions League group stage. But my prediction was off the mark as PSV continued to perform very strongly in their recent match against Ajax, where they completely dominated the game with high ball possession. PSV even managed to score the opening goal in the first half and even in the opening minutes. I had thought that PSV wouldn’t take this match too seriously. But now I’m convinced that PSV has the mindset of a team that doesn’t want to let up easily. They seem so serious in every match they face. And I’m confident they possess the champion’s mentality needed to defeat the two teams they’ll face in their remaining matches. The draw at the Johan Cruijff Arena has made me even more certain that PSV won’t falter even when playing on their opponent’s home turf.

Ajax lost at home to Utrecht and have significantly reduced their chances of finishing in the top four. We can still say they have a chance in the final week, but I don’t think they can finish in the top four now. The first half ended goalless, whilst the final 10 minutes of the second half were incredibly tense. With both teams scoring in the 81st and 84th minutes, the match was decided by Utrecht’s goal in the dying moments. Utrecht must be pleased with their last-minute winner, but I cannot say the same for Ajax. A draw in this fixture would at least have ensured they went into the final week level on points with Nijmegen.

Twente managed to win the match by scoring four goals against their opponents within 20 minutes of the second half, having finished the first half goalless. It was a truly fine performance for Twente. They could have scored more against Rotterdam. They took 26 shots, half of which were on target.

Yesterday we lost against Utrecht, we're in 5th place and at risk of finishing in that position. But even if we finished in 4th place it wouldn't change much. The most important thing would be to qualify for the Champions League, but we didn't even manage that. I see that next season will be the same disappointment. The management really needs to do something different urgently. If they're not managing the club well, it would be wise to bring in more competent people.

I know the clubs has lots of financial obligations and are struggling with these issues which is the reason why they always sell off their best players in order to raise funds to balance their sheets but in all of these, its the club that suffers most because you can't compete without good players in the squad, Ajax has a very good youth system where they often source for talents and I hope they look inwards to get some players  because i dont think they could afford participating in the transfer market as the elite clubs in Europe usually do.

NAC Breda managed to secure a win at home against Heerenveen with a solid performance. However, as this victory won’t change anything for them, one could argue that the win itself doesn’t mean much. Boy Kemper scored both goals in the match, and I would have expected Heerenveen to at least pick up a point from this fixture. Strangely enough, they didn’t even manage to score a goal in the match. They failed to make the most of their chance to finish the league in at least 5th or 6th place.

Especially towards the end of the  season, their performance was very erratic. And that's why they lost the title. Ajax is fifth in the table this season. Ajax is one of the renowned  teams in the eredivisie. Their decline is  sad. You are probably right that their  management is responsible for  their decline. I think Ajax are experiencing what I call a downward trend and this could be as a result of the club's inability retain good players within the squad or attract good ones due to financial constraints, last season they finished in second place and this season they did worse than that, this time they didn't even have the chance to fight for the title and I wonder what next season would be like seeing that there are no exceptional players in the squad that could make a difference. Perhaps that what's lacking in the club, and if this is not settled then ajax may soon be threatened with relegation in the coming season.
