Binance has been a trusted exchange and it has passed all the tests of time so I believe that its coin could still go more in the future. The potential of this coin will depend on Binance's reputation. However, I believe that it could reach better than Ethereum if it would compete with Ethereum's gas fee which is the agony of most traders these days.

When looking at the value of ethereum, you certainly wouldn't think it had any issues with the community but somewhere in some comments, they still complained about the fees ethereum brought, it's too expensive for the tokens we ship, in the long run, this cost will have a huge impact on our profits. Although they have made promises in the future but this has created an opportunity for binance to further expand their application, can't talk about the distant future but in the near future binance will be a very strong opponent for ethereum

It's a bit too much to say that Binance will replace Ethereum though. I even remember a lot of people claiming that Ethereum will even replace Bitcoin sometime because those two coins, not in terms of price though, are somehow competing to each other.

Just imagine, there's no major development for Ethereum network, people are still complaining about the high fees, but look at their standing, they are still at the number 2 next to bitcoin and I think they'll stay that spot and might increase its marketcap once major update such as ETH 2.0 will be fully implemented.

Binance has took the spotlight this year as it rose to top 3 but slowly sliding and now back to top 5, so what I'm saying is we definitely have to look at the consistency and it seems like BNB is not that consistent yet.

Ethereum band binance both of them are very good and future proof projects. At this point ethereum is facing some problem. And the biggest problem is related to gas fees. At this moment ethereum gas fees is too high. But surprisingly people still using it and love everything on ethereum. In other hand binance chain is low in fees, fast and many definbased projects are liking it. But I think after eth 2.0 this problem will be finished. Binance chain is one of the best competitors for  Ethereum. Ethereum is for the rich due to the high gas fee, it is not even cost-effecient to use ERC-20 to do micro transactions and to move your funds using their chains accross different platforms or any wallet.

Really hoping that the ETH 2.0 full implementation gonna fix this scalability problem once and for all. it doesn't make sense for a blockchain that supposed to be "cheap" for sending transaction turns out to be quite "expensive" , I do agree though ETH development feels really slow, even waiting for gas price to settle might takes eternity it's just far behind binance's coin in term of development.

I know that Binance is currently quite a fantastic development. but to be able to beat Ethereum this year I think it will be a little difficult. Hmmm. I disagree on this statement. BSC is far more advance than the current ETH in terms of speed and reliability that's why lots of new well known DeFi projects are choosing to launch in BSC like Pancake Swap and many more. The only thing ETH investors holding on is the ETH V2.0 success which is not yet showing a major upgrade. If trust is the one being consider, BSC is almost as well known and trusted as ETH that's Binance token. Is almost near ETH on MC for a short period of time compared to ETH.

Even though I believe Binance Coin BNB has been doing amazingly well in terms of price largely due to the gas issues currently facing the ethereum network, I think it is still some time away from taking over ethereum spot as the number 2 coin in the crypto space. There are a lot of projects now jumping on Binance Chain and that too is helping the Coin grow. Just yesterday, BNB went to $297 after dropping to $187 from its ATH of about $339

I personally like Binance a lot and what they do, I think you can be right and Binance can really achieve incredible success over time.
It will be difficult to pass Ethereum, but still not impossible.

Binance have a lot of supporter and also the ethereum coin so I think they have similarity but not near potential because BNB needs to prove to us before they reach also the potential of the ether. A lot of people are actually wondering if Binance can surpass Ethereum few years from now which I think is way far impossible by next 4 to 6 years because we can tell it already just by looking at the market cap of both. But it has the potential though especially it has lower fees when it comes to transaction, and most especially a lot of people are being attracted to the projects built in BSC, which brings a lot enthusiast to the network. And it is growing at a much faster rate we never expected or I never expected. So I guess, it can be, maybe 10 years from now or less. Can't tell it exactly but I believe it can.

I think they will divide the market and at some point they will be equal in their influence. For many years, Ethereum has not surprised its users, but Binance has surprised and provides new opportunities.
