I think yes, because many platforms have implemented BSC on their platforms. BSC is considered faster, safer, and lower fees compared to Ethereum blockchain technology, therefore many platforms will switch to BSC.

You can say that BSC is faster and lower fees but you cannot call them safe because there are many variables you need to understand. It is a centralized platform and any major hack you might see them disappearing and then later of compensate the users with quarter of the coins you own and we had seen many markets going down in the past, only time will tell what the future holds.

Binance is centralized platform, im not sure about it. True crypto fans will avoid it. In addition, we soon will see ETH 2.0

I think it's only for now, Binace only have some Centralized Validator and if i'm not wrong it will become public and fully decentralized, I saw some tweet before but forgot to screenshoot it. Well ETH 2.0 and EIP-1559 is the only hope for current ridiculous gas fee today, Let's wait and hope it can be implemented soon.

I totally with the poster, the number reason why binance is likely to replace Ethereum is cus the high transaction fees on the Ethereum blockchain, it has been a major challenge for the network and its looks like a solution isn't even in sight soonest, so everyone is running to binance smart chain cus of the cheaper fees there, I agree that if Ethereum fails to find a solution to the high transaction fees issue in a year or two from now, binance coin is likely to become more expensive than Ethereum eth, but of course this is if binance as an exchange continue to maintain a good reputation and standard.

I do not think so binance could be defeat ethereum. Binance will be people’s choice for joining bsc project. But Leaving etehreum for people’s it is impossible. Though we know that people are aware of this all because of ethereum high gas fees where bnb has soo much less. But you have to remember binance exchange control the whole thing that is why they an cotrol the fees. But you have to remember non any exchange control eth network so users control ta gas fees. That means user still loved to work with ethereum project. Well i am not saying that bsc project are worst. No its not bsc is also a best project from their network. But we can't compare each other. as we can see if the price of Binance has risen very high for now and even all the coin that use Binance smart chain have also increased very high and of course gas fees from Binance are very low compared to Ethereum, so there is a possibility that in the future there will be many projects using blockchain from Binance and that is an opportunity for Binance to replace Ethereum (become the king of all altcoin).

Possible but also not likely. If the owners of Binance see and understand why they are getting all the shares of other cryptocurrency project coming to their network, I believe they would make every means necessary to avoid falling into the same predicament that has befalling the Ethereum Network now so I believe this will be one of their top priority.

Possible but also not likely. If the owners of Binance see and understand why they are getting all the shares of other cryptocurrency project coming to their network, I believe they would make every means necessary to avoid falling into the same predicament that has befalling the Ethereum Network now so I believe this will be one of their top priority.

Well yes BNB being centralised means it’ll get some benefits from governments regarding their promos.
Whereas coming to “Can it be next Ethereum” my answer would be - Not now maybe in future when Centralised projects prefers BNB chain over ETH chain, which is a great possibility when new projects ICO all become centralised.
ETH is popular and only drawback it’s facing atm is of fees which is no doubt very high but intended to be fixed on next update.

A high fee is really the bad side of ETH and it can be the reason people staying away from ETH and prefer BNB. But l think it is not enough to stay away from ETH, both of them are my favorite coins. However to tell the truth ETH is always the second cryptocurrency for me and more than that l can not imagine there can be any cryptocurrency that can replace ETH. BNB has great potential than other currencies, however, BNB should work hard for overtaking ETH.

Currently I admit that Binance Smart Chain is very smart because it can excel from ethereum in terms of very cheap fees
and even many projects that use smart BSC contracts. Ethereum has to quickly find this solution and fix its very expensive
fee if it wants to stay in its current position. So yes, Binance has a chance to outperform ethereum.
