I do agree adding more items in FAQ. Though you are using LN, still it is good to know simple info like min deposit/withdrawal.
And if you are using bitcoin-on-chain, what is min depo/withdrawal? Those info sometimes are important to players especially small time players.
On the other note, when I check your aviator game, there are about 117 bets already. That's a very good start as you are just new here.

Are you saying the bonus can be awarded after the user has wagered their deposit 30x, but after this wagering the user has to manually claim it?

What is this about having 30 days to complete the bonus after it was claimed as well? At the start of the terms it says it can be withdrawn right away.

Went ahead and made a deposit to test this place out. The bonus terms are incorrect, its actually 30x the bonus amount which needs to be wagered rather than the initial deposit.

It seems like the bonus is applied post wager so you can't use it for extra playtime like most other sites. As i'm not particularly a fan of these post wager bonuses, i just turned over my deposit a couple of times and attempted to withdraw. It hasn't dropped back in my wallet quite yet so i'm assuming they require manual approval (to be fair it has only been an hour).

I also see from the terms that even though you don't normally ask for ID, the casino is not fully anonymous since an ID can be asked when a person wants to withdraw consent, and some info like full name, phone number or Internet connection info can be asked in some cases.

Correct, Aviator is a provided by Spribe so we do not have direct control of it. They do offer a provably fair implementation that takes players' seeds into account. Whether you find their implementation satisfactory or not is something you need to check and decide for yourself of course.

I agree, their provably fair implementation is probably one of the easiest to cheat I've ever seen.

Spribe are the only ones who could do the cheating, not Betplay. Also, the game is in an iframe, Betplay can't modify the dom.


I should probably state that I am a security researcher and my job is to protect casinos from losing money. I have no professional interest in protecting players. I don't see any way Betplay could lose money by making Aviator available to its customers.

This doesnt rule out nor exempt other casinos as well where you can be possibly asked with some verification if they do see something towards your gambling activity.
Its quite common that those are included on most terms and conditions.

Please note that we are temporarily turning off USDT on Betplay.io due to Ethereum network congestion and high fees. We will reevaluate this later and we are also looking into support for other USDT networks outside of Ethereum. Being able to provide fast and low cost payments are very important to us and right now we do not feel that USDT on ETH network meets our requirements.

Sorry for our late reply on this, so regarding KYC, the reason for why we still have that is because it is a requirement for us to have in our TOS if we want to go for the Curacao license. And as mentioned before we have had in plan to go for that license and that is why we chose to still keep it in our TOS. However, we have spoken internally and will remove that clause from our TOS until we have the license, because as you mentioned it is not necessary while we don't have a license. The "user contributions" is in our TOS because of upcoming promotions where we will show the players chosen username when they have won a big bet for example.

Yours is the first site I've seen that offers Liquid deposits though, but since I've never used it, I can't test it.

Other thoughts/suggestions:

• I like that the site just works in a Tor browser, without captcha. However, in said Tor browser, the BTC-symbol doesn't show:

• In the same browser, the deposit QR-code doesn't work. I've seen the same problem on another site, but I also know a site where it works. It would be great if you can fix this (I only have LN-wallets on mobile, so I had to create a QR-code by myself now)
• Amounts are shown as uBTC and UBTC. The correct name would be μBTC, but "bits" is much more common.
• The email-confirmation for a near-instant LN-deposit is excessive.
• You're asking for "your wallet address", which doesn't really exist in Bitcoin LN. The wording can be improved.
• When withdrawing, a "max"-button would be nice.

In regards to being first, most sites offering gambling that had lightning only offered one or two games. We don't really consider this to be a casino where you have slots, table games, live casino games, virtual racing etc. I guess you could argue that definition but that's way we see it.

The thought & suggestions are really good; email, wording and max button will be addressed shortly. It would be nice to fully support TOR, we don't have too much experience with it but it might be something we can look at in the near future.

Micro should really be μ as you say, in the games though we can't really control it as it comes from game providers. But on the site we can, so we will change it

Your withdraw was eventually resolved and money was returned. The routing issue happens after a payment has been approved, which is why you got an approved message but actual funds failed to route. This happens very rarely, but we will look into to trying to make sure the routing was successful before notifying the player in the future.

I've used Wallet of Satoshi and BlueWallet too, they all have their pros and cons. Phoenix Wallet needs to be online to receive the payment, and I tried to make it go online several times last night. I think the LN-transaction just has to keep trying for a while.

As for the "unable to find a path" error: I've seen that before when sending a transaction. It would be great if your website can show that message instead of "success", so the user can just try something else.

Custodial wallets use a well-connected node that's online all the time, while Phoenix Wallet needs to actually be online to receive a transaction. And Android probably tries to make it sleep whenever it's on the background. LN is easier to send than receive a transaction as a user.
I tried to use BlueWallet, but I don't think it allows to request a payment without an amount, and your site specifically asks for a payment request without amount specified. Is that really needed, or would a pre-set amount work too? I like how Lightning-Roulette.com does it: I set the amount in my payment request instead of on the site, and they send whatever I requested.

I now used tippin.me to withdraw. That worked.

If you enter the same amount in the invoice as in the withdraw then it will work as well. But if they mismatch then the payment will be failed and refunded to your player account.

Will take a look again at Blue Wallet, if not possible to not enter amount then maybe we need to amend the instructions to leave amount open or enter the same amount.

We were taken a bit by surprise by the rapid adoption and increase of LN payments actually. When we launched we figured we were still a bit early to the party, but right now it seems we were just in time. No doubt LN adoption has been accelerated by the extremely high fees we saw a couple of weeks back so that turned out to be a bit of a crisitunity for us 

Liquid Bitcoin on the other hand is still a sleeper it seems
