There will be new drivers, new money coming to F1. Maybe not from Russia (at least for some time), but there are always dozens of drivers who want to take his seat. And I am sure that Mercedes is looking for a new driver to be Russel's partner - they have their "academy" so they know who could be the candidate.

Where did that come from? Mercedes looking for a new driver? I don't think Toto has said anything about that and Lewis is still the driver that they would want to have.

It is not about talking about it loudly. We all know that managing team requires to think (maybe even focus on it) about future, not here-and-now. It was always strange for me that transfers were announced almost in the middle of season, it was weird to "I do my best here, even if I already signed contract to work for my current-opponent".
The same with car - season starts so we should think about building car for the next season, of course no team builds car in a few winter weeks.
That's why I am pretty sure they have drivers they observe, maybe from F2, maybe even from other leagues. At the end it is not very different than situation in football - you have 10000 boys kicking the ball, some of them will join sport club in their district, maybe some of them will be talented more than others, some will work harder than others, some will find better manager than others... maybe 1 will make a (inter)national career.

Was curious with the age of the oldest driver to drive in an F1 and was surprised it was 58 years old.
Done by Louis Chiron but to actually win a race it was Luigi Fagioli at 53.
Back in 1951 for the French Grand prix so you know the drivers were probably less impacted with all the stress that the drivers now have to contend with.
Can Lewis Hamilton keep going until he is 50?
Highly unlikely but as someone else had already mentioned, it is now more about driving longer than their competition more then anything else.

Hmm...they won't let him drive by that age even if he wants it but I do see him driving more than Alonso as he is currently  41 and I think Lewis will race until 44 as that should complete his running in F1.  Also the numbers are playing a very important role in F1 drivers careers. I also do believe that Max his change his nr 1 driver as soon as he will lose his first championship after winning one.

Now , the question is , will Alonso drive more than 43 years old ? Because signing with Aston Martin clearly will catch him in his 43th but will he drive more ? If he has a great car he might keep pushing as long as his body will allow it.

How long did he extend it for? With drivers I would see them taking a 3-4 year contract at a time so the teams can lock them in and not be offered a better contract from another team.
But I agree with you on Lewis and once he wins that title he will probably contemplate on retiring with going out a champion and not just fade away like most drivers do.
Going out on a high note is a nice way to leave your sport and not many have the opportunity to do it on their own terms.

Yeah, not only the ground effect is now actively used in 2022 cars.
Everyone is now concerned that there should be less dirty air. 
And this is generally justified because it will allow for a tighter race.  It is certainly more dangerous, but also much more interesting to watch.  Actually, this is what the organizers of the races are trying to achieve. 
I also liked how the rear wing looks now.  Some kind of futurism.

During the extended break they allow Mercedes to make such extreme changes to their cars form?
Wouldn't this be risky to a team to have them adjust their driving styles for these changes in a middle of a season?
If these rear wing and ground effects tweaks are happening, then that only means they believe they still have a chance at the title.

No F1 fan really enjoy the summer break of F1 but we all know that after it ends , we get the legendary tracks of Spa , Monza , Singapore and Brasil so for me this is enough as reason to wait for the summer break to end. Also, I've played some F1 games with custom lobbies from time to time so maybe if we have a small community here who owns the game , maybe we can race each other ? That would be fun.

Just my suggestion on how to get it going.
It would be kind of fun while waiting for the next race to start and for the second half to begin again.

Great idea boltz but for my side i didnt have the setup, and as i know you need some skills to play F1 games, i dont have any of them, i stop playing (and i was really good in the NFS) but that was really arcade and fun, this its more like simulation and i dont have any clue on that. So i cant follow you in this one.

I would suggest not the latest version if you want as many people as possible to attend and to be able to attend then we want the easiest common base or lowest bar to entry.   I know the games companies want to sell the same game updated every year but strictly speaking its not really needed for people to play and develop any community.

  Is Monza still the fastest average speed circuit in F1.  I used to play Geoff Crammonds F1 when he was still an active programmer, I think he was the best because to begin he was a physicist who learnt to program

Yeah, the circuit in Belgium is considered by many F1 connoisseurs and even racers to be the most interesting of all the circuits in F1 competition.
By the way, this route has existed for over 100 years. 
And on it, for example, the legendary Michael Schumacher won - 6 times. And Hamilton drove it the fastest in the history of the track a couple of years ago.
So expect an interesting spectacle. It will probably be one of the best races of the season.
