Is Bitcoin better than Fiat?

I think they're equal at the moment. Both are equally needed. Fiat is needed in a day for shopping, while bitcoin is used to produce fiat. But there is a plus today from bitcoin, which is a fully decentralized transaction. If now the pandemic condition covid19 bitcoin is better than fiat.

it is true that fiat is used for day-to-day shopping while bitcoin is more appropriate to be used as an asset in the future so that it generates a lot of fiat so both are equally important.

Bitcoin and fiat are both important we can use it anywhere as payment online or personally, so i think we dont need to compare what is better because we know how important fiat and bitcoin is. As an Investment op, yes better than fiat but as a means of payment, not at the moment which for me is the only down side to it. I would love to be able to spend it everywhere and anywhere but for now, most of my regular stores are not there yet so I still spend my fiat. It will be definitely the easiest form of payment when we have a global adoption.

If we are talking about cryptocurrency and fiat currency they always compare but they are the same as digital currency but the difference is the cryptocurrency which is the bitcoin is more volatile than the fiat currency it's more active than the market it as you can see it took a long run for the fiat currency to move for just one cent but if there's an economic crisis this is the time only when the fiat currency will fall down on the cryptocurrency i think most of us tells that we experience everyday ups and downs and lose some of our position and becomes liquidated if you want to along-term investment they prefer both but I think its more active if we ride on the cryptocurrency.

There is really much divergency about this question. I'm one of the Bitcoin supporters in this. Because it is the money of the future. But I also think that it won't be used as a main currency by governments because of its volatility. But Bitcoin is really helping for digital currencies to be developed by goverments to be prepared for the future.

Yeah, that's true, I don't think that cryptocurrency can be used as the standard currency in the future because the government won't never accepts it in different countries as they cant control it. With the ever-growing progress, it must be admitted that the use of fiat money will decrease, because digital money will be the most appropriate means of making transactions faster and more measurable. especially with the covid-19 pandemic where it is alleged that paper money is one of the transmitters of transmission, so digital money is highly recommended.

but in many countries they still cannot accept bitcoin due to several constraints and rules that cannot be made. because indeed the regulations regarding bitcoin must be clear so that there is no overlap. so that fiat is still used as a legal means of exchange.

If you are going to ask me, then I might be biased a bit in my answer, but opinions are welcome in this forum and a friendly, open discussion is always a good sign of civility in an otherwise semi-trollish atmosphere of the internet. Investment-wise, Bitcoin is much better than fiat as this is practically a tool and an instrument in making profit and being able to make your money bigger. Fiat, on the other hand, is the handyman tool in purchasing in the real world, as for me fiat is much better tool for payment than bitcoins. I would rather pay fiat for the meantime for good and services than bitcoin. You paid 10,000 bitcoins before for a pizza which became millions then I think that is too much, but alas we don't know what the future will bring.
