will always be a good time to buy a coin. we never know when the price will be high. based on some information I read, maybe right now, if you want to buy coins, it might be very good if we pay attention to the movement chart of BTC, ETH, LUNA, KLAY, and AXS. some speculate that the price of the coin is resistant to rising, and it's still not too late for that.

Currently the crypto market has started to stabilize, most of the altcoins have increased, I think now is a very good time to invest because the increase in altcoins has not been very high, but it is better to buy potential altcoins that are in the top 10 of the highest altcoins in CMC.

most altcoin now increase smoothly and only small correction that happen , investors now confidence to re entry their position in any cryptocurrency. major coins show its strenght but we still have several option in 2nd tier altcoin which is have potency to growth in near future.

I agree with your statement, I think this time will be a good time for investment to altcoins especially the top ten. but for bitcoin i dont think this is the perfect time, because the price had been up so much compare to last month. Also you can consider to invest to Ethereum because the price is slowly increasing because the London hard fork weeks ago.

if we patience waiting pullback correction it will give us better position , i know market on fire now but we must always carefull with unexpected condition.

if you say the top 5 coins I think are very true, but if you want to be precise again and will not experience losses at any time, obviously you are right that bitcoin and ethereum are very good coins to be used as long-term investments. You don't need to be afraid to buy it at any time because it will certainly reach a renewable price again and will certainly exceed the price when you bought it.

no need to hesitate to buy it anytime, where when you are ready to buy it then it is the right time because for bitcoin and ethereum it is very convincing but I also appreciate that you dare to choose cardano, because now there seems to be a very good increase even cardano can reach ATH renew again.

Hi everyone!

I'm new in the Crypto World, but I am absolutely obsessed with it.

I want to start investing in BTC/ETH, maybe also some others like THETA, Audius and more.

I am following different youtubers, twitter accounts, discord channels, to learn as much I can about crypto as I can.

BUT, is not the correct time to invest? As long as I understand, we are in a bull-run right now, and many do believe that BTC and also ETH will grow. Some belive BTC will hit 100K and some also think ETH will be up to 10% of BTC total value by end of the year.
- And addition to this, we might see a drop and go in a bear-market, but this seems not to be the case.

I'm also looking into start long trading on buybit, I want to start small and get the hang of it and learn the system and how it works.

SO, back to the actual question: is NOW a good or bad time to begin investing? Or should I wait for a heavy drop in the market, which might not come?
- I am looking for a LONG term investment.

This is a little late but it's never a bad time to invest.  A good way to get in is not just one lump sum as to try to time the market, but rather cost average in.  Take a little from your paycheck each week and start building your positions.  Before you know it you will have a nice little stack of sats.  Good luck

Investing in the top 5 coins may not seem like a bad idea but there have been coins there in which I would not have invested a single dollar, for example even if right now ripple is outside the top 5 it was there for a long time and many people probably invested in it thinking it was a good coin when it is nothing more but a trap set up by banks and now they are facing a case in court, so while the top 5 coins look good at the same time things are not so simple that you can just invest in those coins and obtain profits.

Proves out that nothing is an assured thing even you do stick with top ranking coins in the market.You wouldnt know on when those altcoins would really go down into the ladder and that what
makes the situation even more harder and its been a part of investment.Therefore, you should know on when get in and when to get out even though its hard but somewhat can be tolerated or

Yes, this is the right time to buy and invest until the end of this year which is expected to increase again. the price is still friendly to buy, but actually if you want to invest in bitcoin there is no best time, because anytime is a good thing. because bitcoin is a coin that will always increase at any time even though there is a correction but it is certain that it will increase again from the last ATH.

In my personal opinion, in investing, of course, we must have clear benchmarks regarding the assets we have, and I also agree that it is better for us to choose altcoins that are in the top 5 coinmarketcaps than investing in new altcoins or tokens like those that are trending in the crypto world now that is NFT coin, I think investing in new altcoins or tokens has a big enough risk, because we don't know how big the fundamentals and the community that supports the altcoins or tokens.

Yes. A few weeks ago, most altcoins prices were very cheap but people didn't know if it will increase this week. Who bought many altcoins previously, especially top altcoins like ETH, BNB, ADA, or even THETA, must earn big profits this week. And this is a story that repeats itself over and over again, you can take the time to look at the coins that were at the top 10 at some point and you are going to see coins that now are worth nothing, so it is important to remember that this is the case and never trust 100% in an altcoin no matter how solid it may look, the only coin we are completely sure that it is going to survive over the long term is bitcoin, so when it comes to any other coin we must always be ready to get rid of it if it is necessary.

i'm in the same situation as you, OP, but i know cryptos for a long time, i wanted to buy in june 2017 considering the fact that i was lurking the market for a fair amount of time on a french forum, but at that period i was too young to own a credit card and my mother said "no, bitcoin is bullshit" 
In December 2017 when Bitcoin made headlines she said "ok, i'll give you 100$" and i put it on OmiseGo with the strong desire to hold, and i got RIPPED off ahahahaa, still haven't sold and i still haven't figured it out why did it crash since the project looked solid to me, but i left the market until now
Now i want to get back on the road with my petty student/reserve soldier money, don't think i'll invest anything above 400$, i'm waiting for a small dip to jump into something like the BAT or the LUNA but i'm still hesitant

If we shall keep looking for the best time to enter the market will shall keep missing all these bull runs that have happened over the years. If bitcoin is believed to hit highs such as $100k or a million dollars and we have just moved a twentieth of this journey to a million..it goes to show we can still enter this market even as you read this...just treaty your investment as one you can afford to lose because markets don't move in one direction,  sometimes you will see bearish markets for a long time which is a time people fail to hold on to what they have, when this time comes hold and be strong,good luck.

It will always be a good time for investment, I do not see that there is a specific time under which it is bad to do it except that it is in a Distribution stage, however one of the currencies that has given more surprises is BCH, in fact in this technical analysis is displayed:

the BCH/USDT pair could rally to $806.87 and then to $864.28. This zone is likely to act as stiff resistance, but if bulls do not give up much ground, the possibility of a break above $864.28 increases.

If we take into account that the price for now is at the levels of 637USD and if it rises to more than 800USD the gains would be very good..

There is always an opportunity to buy if we keep waiting we will never know when we can buy. What we need is to create a plan of what to do once we decide to buy such coin if it has potential and when can we can get a profit if we buy a certain amount in such time. Buying anytime is well provided we knew how to trade and we have time to monitors it.

Bitcoin is currently at 47k4, a pretty good price to invest in, this is a nice drop after bitcoin corrected at $50k, which is a good psychological support to buy into.  MA 4h still shows strong bullish signal.  But depending on your point of view, I would buy cumulatively at this point.  I am bullish on bitcoin in this trend.
