It is not that simple. Many people are scared that the price is way too high and that is why they should not be investing into anything at all, they are scared and I understand that. I am not saying it is bad time to invest, I am still putting money into crypto all the time, I have lost a lot of money on days that were purely green, I really do not mind whatever the result will be I will keep on investing because I like crypto.

However that doesn't mean that we should only see the world from our perspective, there are tons of people who are scared of this situation and not investing. I would be scared too if I was new for example, because price is a lot and people do not know what they should invest into when prices are so high. What if prices went up so much and now it is time for them to go down? Who knows when they will go down? So, that is why they are scared.

Bitcoin will be attacked even further, the longer it stays up the more attack it will get. Think about it, how many people have profited from bitcoin going up? 10k people? 100k people? 1 million? 10 million?

BUT, is not the correct time to invest? As long as I understand, we are in a bull-run right now, and many do believe that BTC and also ETH will grow. Some belive BTC will hit 100K and some also think ETH will be up to 10% of BTC total value by end of the year.
- And addition to this, we might see a drop and go in a bear-market, but this seems not to be the case.

I'm also looking into start long trading on buybit, I want to start small and get the hang of it and learn the system and how it works.

SO, back to the actual question: is NOW a good or bad time to begin investing? Or should I wait for a heavy drop in the market, which might not come?
- I am looking for a LONG term investment.

Long term investment needs patience and patience need trust, because if you dont trust the coin that you wanted to invest i am sure that you cannot hold it for a long term. The best coin to invest are bitcoin and ethereum this two coins are trusted and useful so there is a great posibility that this coin will soon rise, but as what you have said we are in a bullrun season and investing in bull run comes with a big risk because you need a big money to buy a few amount of bitcoin and eth so i think you need to wait the dip for good.

My suggestion for anyone who wants to invest would be to sit tight, buy however or whatever you want, buy something that is decent, doesn't have to be just bitcoin but don't go too risky, but at the end just keep that for at least few years. I can guarantee you that not waiting and being scared and panic selling will not be helpful for you, it has to make some profit for you but if you can't wait, it will not profit at all.
