I think its a bad and good time for those investor who invest in alt when Bitcoin price is at 50000$ then it will be a bad for them because after a dump of Bitcoin from 50000$ to 47500$ most of the alt dump about 10 to 30 percent but if you are not still invest in Bitcoin at 47500$ then its a good time for you because there are huge resistance between 50000$ to 55000$ it mean that it will take too time to break this resistance so its a good for you if you invest in Bitcoin or any alt after dump then I think it will be profitable for you as compare to invester in btc at 50000$

few weeks ago actually be good moment for crypto investment , price still in low range and have bigger profits potency. but today price increase alot and even bitcoin could hit above $49k. maybe waiting small pullback to get lower price and lower risk will be better for our trade.

I don't see it going down, it's actually recovering now because the market trend is bullish. Maybe the price now is lower than its ATH which is $64k, so if you think it will break its current ATH, then there's no problem in buying bitcoin at $50k. My thoughts on the current situation is I'm riding with the short term movement but not to accumulate for the long term as I'm waiting for a lower price which I believe I would see soon.

Indeed. It will also depends on the purpose of how long you are going to hodl your investment. If you couldn't decide about it, then try to invest in a small funds first and see how the market moves so you'll learn how to deal with it. I am following different youtubers, twitter accounts, discord channels, to learn as much I can about crypto as I can.

BUT, is not the correct time to invest? As long as I understand, we are in a bull-run right now, and many do believe that BTC and also ETH will grow. Some belive BTC will hit 100K and some also think ETH will be up to 10% of BTC total value by end of the year.
- And addition to this, we might see a drop and go in a bear-market, but this seems not to be the case.

I'm also looking into start long trading on buybit, I want to start small and get the hang of it and learn the system and how it works.

SO, back to the actual question: is NOW a good or bad time to begin investing? Or should I wait for a heavy drop in the market, which might not come?
- I am looking for a LONG term investment.

If you want to do investing don't look into one or two coins only, there are a lot of altcoins that is worth investing today. Investing is a little bit risky this time because we are on bullish season, but we can make risk lesser if we can choose the good coin to invest.There are still a lot of altcoins that still low at price and very promising we only need to pick the best for good.

There are many new investors that don't do this. Whoever taught them to invest in crypto did suggest them some other strategy of buying different altcoins.

But it's true that new investors, should invest and look first for btc and eth as their main start for investing. In these two, there's confidence when they invest their money on it while they're still learning.
