As I understand, no one will be able to create challenge if he/she has no funds on his balance. ]
Lets say you want to create a challenge with $100 prize, so you must have that amount on your balance.
Once you created the challenge, the amount will be deducted from your balance means that the prize is guaranteed.

I created one challenge for testing purpose few days back but it seems that no one is interested, perhaps because the prize is not attractive as it was few bucks only and with a 1000x multiplier to hunt. I asked support about a way to delete or edit it but it seems there is no features to do it and they deleted it for me eventually. Yeah, wagering 1 billion dollar is quite a long run to go. It can't be easily achieved by anyone.
