For me personally gambling has always been a "just for fun" type thing.  I love to gable and have been doing so as long as I can remember, but for me it's never turned it to anything more than just a little bit of fun here and there.  I do however know how easy it is to get addicted to things and I never take for granted how easy it's been for me to not go overboard with gambling..and I certainly wish the best for the those struggling with the addiction.

Yes, I gamble with an budget. I usually set aside between 50 and 100 bucks per month for gambling, and if I manage to win some money I increase my budget a little for the next month. Usually I cash out with cryptos half of my larger winnings and leave the rest as new bankroll. Sometimes I exceed my limit and then I use a little bit more from my bankroll, but I try to not use borrowed money for gambling. I once asked a friend for 100 Euros in an casino to play more Roulette, in the end I lost it all and felt quite bad for losing his money. So now I try to avoid to gamble with other peoples money. At the moment I only gamble online because the casinos are closed.

You did the right thing by avoiding to keep asking for loans, friends and family members do not really have a problem with helping you when you are in need but if they find out that you are going to use the money for something like gambling then they are going to lose trust in you and most likely when you really need money for something more important they are not going to be willing to lend that money to you and that is never a good thing.

Yes, I agree. This is the main reason why it makes sense for governments to set a maximum limit of time and/or a maximum of money, which can be lost. To be fair: It's nearly impossible to create such a law, because of different providers. But in general at least some losses are covered  if you prohibit some players to risk all of their money.

Yes, I do have a budget to play. I has considered gambling as a form of entertainment for many years but it is hard to follow it if you recklessly deposit your money just to buy the happiness. And when you realize you are out of money, no fun anymore

I have never get in debt because of gambling. I understand the rudimentary idea that we cant afford to lose much money, especially if it belongs to others. Consequently, I never borrow anyone money. But I do lose a huge amount of money which make me reconsider the meaning of gambling throughout many months

I do not have something like a Gambling time, what I do have is extra money beside the savings. That money I do use for gambling every once in a while , I do believe that time should not matter at all. If you are playing well then you can use much more time , but if you are not playing well and loosing then you should wait for the next paycheck. You should never spend perse much more time, but rather set beside a different schedule and your money should be well managed. You have to understand that there are various things available on the sites , for example on the gambling websites there are things available to limit the account itself and you can also seek professional help if needed though.

I have a full time job so I can't really spend much time gambling. I have a very strict bankroll management and like I already specified I only bet on sports and mostly for fun. I'm not a pro, I usually bet together with friends and colleagues and that is good to me.

The problem is, most of the people who used to play lightly are now playing excessively. It's because they already lose some huge amount of money and they want to get it back. As I read some posts here in this section, people lead to play excessively when they lose their money that came from debt and they wanted to get it back by playing like there is no tomorrow. They better stop themselves before it results in that kind of nightmare or else they will suffer a lot more than they expected.

Exactly, you accepting the fact that you're going to lose the moment you start gambling technically means that you don't care about your money anymore, that's why somehow we could say that we lose our control towards our money.

And later on, when we realized that our money could've been more worthy to lose if we risk it to something else, like in a business or buying a property, so what's gonna happen next is you'll gamble again but not for pleasure, you're gonna play gambling because you wanted to take back your losses which is impossible and yes, you're going to be addicted on it while chasing your losses.

1. Yes, I have a weekly gambling budget.  That's 10 percent of my weekly income after tax.  

2. I try not to borrow money.  Borrowing money in order to gamble is a taboo for me.  

3. Yes.  I play on Thursdays and Fridays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  

4. Usually I play alone.  Sometimes in the company of friends or beloved girls.
