do you see other possibilities?

I don't really think what you've mentioned are effective.

I mean, gamblers will always be excited to play gamble every single day, and waiting would not help especially if they have nothing to do anymore, so why bother waiting. Also, limiting their bankroll is imposible as well, especially if they are winning too much, which next move will be betting too much and losing too much, that leads to playing the whole day chasing the losses.

well, I'm also excited about videogames and feel like I could play all day but discipline and purpose helps me to do other things in life.
in terms of limiting bankroll why is it so hard? simply separate money on different accounts, create the rules and follow them, I usually dont want to leave future me upset with my choices and actions.

I think it will depend on the gambler, We have a different kind of ways of limiting ourselves and I think some of us has full control over it. I can use myself as an example, I do control myself from playing all day by limiting my bankroll. It is my way of not overspending my time on online casinos. I also immediately stop playing when I feel it and I don't chase for profits or regaining losses. I can say that I'm a controlled gambler today.

When try stuck with loss all time better to stop and never join gambling any time, I think this why push your soul and you can't control how to manage with gambling moment, always make you to make higher wager after loss and all your fund loss when faced with gambling, I stop gambling and back to trading.

I try to trade in these few days, but it does not give me a good profit except to lose little money. Still, that bothers me to keep trying to trade, but then I realize it seems I need to stop for a while because I can not analyze better and see that my tension becomes higher. After that, I decided to stop until now. Maybe later, if I can reduce my pressure, I will start trading again.

That will be the same in gambling. If you have a similar experience as me, maybe you need to break for a while and never think about recovering your loss because that will not be easy for you. That is called calming yourself down and knowing yourself so you can come back in the other days.

Back when I was an active gambler I don't really limit my time on gambling.
But I tried it before I just ends up cheating on my own and losing more because of my own greed.
But if I ever comes back to gambling and have enough money I would try to limit my time on it so I could also limit my lost or keep my profit.

This requires a whole lot of dicipline because greed is one of the killing factors as far as gambling is concerned. I was once controlled by greed during my early days of gambling and I ran into debts severally. I used most of my valueables in to clear off my bills and still staked some during gambling. It wasn't an easy task to stop but I has to avoid gambling for a while then when I returned back to gamble I made sure I drafted my budget and once Its been exusted that's it for the day.

I do not limit my gambling time but I do limit my gambling money, everyday I set up a profit and loss. Daily I set up a $100 profit and $100 loss whatever comes first I stop already. But I think having a gambling time is only for people with hectic schedule as for me I don't limit my time to enjoy and to entertain myself.

Though this kind of things is a little bit hard to achieve and needed patience and practice.

Meanwhile I think yours is a good choice to limit losses and exit once the winning target is reached. If what you do can be consistently maintained, then I think it will make you successful in making this gambling a place to get entertainment. To be honest, I can't do it consistently because I find it hard to stop and exit immediately after a win.

1. Yes I do have a weekly budget for gambling but sometimes I exceed when I'm getting greedy. I'm still on the process of keeping myself under control and stick with the budget that I have.
2. That's one thing for sure, I know in myself when to stop and won't take loan just for gambling.

This is the reason why we should have a gambling plan or just self-control every time we play gambling sometimes if we exceed the limit and we already win a lot we want to urge more plays because we think there's already luck on our side. Another side is if we already lose a lot we want to urge again to just play and your thought of having brought back our losses and then stop sometimes we make it but sometimes it doubles more the losses.

Gambling is a field of risk the higher the risk the higher the reward but make sure you know the consequences.

Gambling with time is really a lot harder not everyone can decide when to start and end a bet therefore it is better to practice well with time. If there is a high risk it should be stopped if the time is set the chances of winning are low everything cannot be analyzed in a short time i don't limit my gambling time.

Yes, I admitted that it is hard, but you need to keep trying if you do not want to see yourself become addicted to gambling. Maybe you need to allocate some money to gamble and do not play for a long time. You can try slowly but do not stop because once you must follow, limit your money and not break or use more money. I am sure you can limit your gambling time, and you can quit gambling whenever you want.

All require a careful plan, let alone related to your funds. Financial management time constraints, emotional management is absolutely necessary. Don't let you lose all your money because you can't manage all that. In addition, do not let you become a gambling maniac, because it can make all your assets run out and may make life miserable.

If you can't gamble with time then you should be able to limit the money that will be spent and how high it should be made. When you already have these limits then at least you will comply with the time to stop when your money has run out on that day and will return tomorrow in the same way. On the other hand, when you win and have reached the target or are just approaching the target, then as much as possible you should stop, because in that situation greed will destroy your plans so make it a discipline.

I also limit my time not so much because I have a hectic schedule but because as we know your luck can vary wildly from session to session, sometimes you have bad luck and your session is over in minutes and sometimes you do well and you could be playing for hours, so in order to limit this when I gamble I set a limit of one hour, that way if I have one of those days in which I could be playing for hours I can limit my time and not forget about the rest of the activities that I have to do during that day.

It'd be interesting to see more reasearch on finding flow through Gambling.

not sure if all here are fammiliar with the research on the State of Flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi
but I wouldn't be surprise if the main source of flow for some people who get really addicted to gambling could be gambling itself.

this opens a possibility for researchers to check if having other flow acitvities being it reading, arts or sports could help with gambling addiction or minimizing time to gamble.

of course it's easier to each person to decide what is a healthy amount of gambling in terms of time.

It is not recommended to be a gambler who plays gambling every day because we will use more time just to play gambling and forget about the next activity that we must do. When we can manage our time and money to playing gambling, we will know when we need to break and do the other things. If we can do that, I am sure we can prevent becoming addicted to gambling. Losing the money will hurt us because we will not have a big chance to recover the losing money.
