Only fighter I know one the main card is Reyes since he fought and lost to Israel Adesanya late last year.
So I can't give much in predictions on these matches.

It's time for UFC #262 starting with the first pre-lim of the night in 15 minutes.

The main event is in about 3 hours from now when all the above matches are done.
So there is still time to put in your favorites and your selections of who will be the winner of their bouts!

Managed to catch the Souza fight just when Muniz broke his arm. You can hear the crack during the replay and he couldn't move it at all of the bout.
That one was the best out of the early prelims and prelims from the three that I watched.
Before this one Wright, Lee and Vannanta all beat their opponents.

Looking forward to the main events now.

The main event and last fight of the evening was a good two round showdown for Khabib's lightweight championship title.
For the previous fight you can see after the punch there was a delayed reaction when his opponent started to fall backwards and from this screenshot you can see his eyes starting to roll back.

That was a weird knock out.

With Oliveira winning the fight he fought the adversity that came along with it so good for him.


I felt that he deserved it since all Chandler was just a loud mouth prior to the fight.

Since everybody is mad at Elon why not a fighter during a post interview at UFC 262.

Don't know what that was about but it was an event the same weekend as his SNL appearance so maybe just to get on in during the hype.

Dariush explained in a post-fight press conference. He basically ordered a Tesla when his wife got pregnant but the Tesla is yet to arrive and she is almost due. I have seen somewhere that Elon apologized for the delay and that it's on its way, but can't be sure if that was fake or even to him...Anyway, cool call out amidst all the Elon crypto controversy the past week

Watched a video the other day about some UFC fights and they mentioned about how fighters were allowed to punch other in the region below the belt (I mean direct hits) early on when the sport was just taking off.
I don't know if Dana White was the owner of association at that time but that just sounds unheard of by todays standards as this can really end somebody in the hospital let alone hurt more than anything you could ever imagine happening in the ring.
Well other than having your neck snapped or your head crushed in.

Thank you for this thread rdbase! Have said before am not knowledgeable in this sport but I spent a lot of time in my youth (more than I care to remind myself actually) watching muay Thai in very very small local tourneys but I totally enjoyed the atmosphere and build up (and betting haha).

Plus the streams are impossible to get live (with good quality) where I am, add the unnatural timings for me... but they do look a lot like muay Thai in some matches. Strawweight! That's my area!

Betting wise, seems tough as hell for me to find value though! Look at the Vegas 27 odds, worst underdog is 35/10:)

If you are streaming illegally, UFC has a really good track record of taking down illegal streams of their PPV fights and most of the time, this fights are streamed for free in their official social media pages.

Almost all the UFC Vegas events were on local cable if you have ESPN where they broadcast those non-PPV events.
As for the UFC xxx main events, those are certainly on PPV and are illegal to stream as some youtuber got kicked and banned from streaming on the youtube platform by showing just a second of it from his tv during a stream sometime last year from what I remember happened.
The pre-lims are shown on ESPN as well but not the co main event nor the main event itself.

As for the next UFC 263 event Adesanya fight will be a major one. As his friend who was also a fighter just died last week from a mugging. So expect him to show some respect to his passing in this fight during the event against Vettori.

Thanks for the responses, Kittygalore and rdbase, clearly, I am a noob both at UFC and at social media. May have to try and see how FB works again after all these years.

I have one ESPN channel for free but it's the one where you get random sports with just news mostly, never actually checked it out during MMA fights but I'll have a look. My local cable is, let's say, limited, and not in English.

I got tricked by Adesanya in the last time I bet so is it a matter of fool me twice, shame on me?

This would be another of it's kind considering the long period of trainings and anxiety. Would Usman kamaru defend again his place in the minds of his fans ? Are you referring to Usman vs Lewis?

Usman is pound for pound the best fighter there is and Dana White has stated this in his last interview after Usman's victory.
