Remembered right before the womens championship fight happening this weekend at UFC 277 there was an article about a UFC fighter who wanted to receive their entire full salary to be paid in bitcoin.

Good for Luana Pinheiro as there were fighters who received partial amounts of their purse in bitcoin in the past but not their entire earnings, including whatever she receives from sponsorships she has stated, converts it immediately to bitcoin as soon of receiving them.

UFC 277 press conference happened last night and it was much more of the same from Nunes and Pena.
She wants her belt back and Pena saying she will take her out again so come and try.
I found the Derrick Lewis and Sergei interviews more interesting even if they had fewer words.
The hometown crowd loves him and would difficult to bet against him.

I have Lewis, Kai Kara France and Nunes as winners on the main card for this weekend's UFC 277.

Amanda Nunes was injured pretty bad after the fight with Pena for the retaking of championship title.
In the post fight interview she had to be helped with crutches and you can see her eye was closed shut on one side.
So the five round fight did take her toll on the lioness.

Great matches overall and can not wait until the next UFC main event.
Should be a stellar one later on in the month.

Nice UFC on ESPN this past weekend. The only fight where I had a bet on was Luque that I had wrong.
Usman was surprise winner of the night being the underdog with odds of 3.25x.

Can't wait for the next UFC main event with his brother the champion taking the octagon to defend his title.

UFC ESPN 41 event this weekend with a really good matchup with Vera vs Cruz.
It should be a tough fight but both fighters look ready to take on the challenge.

UFC 41 was another good fight night to have witnessed with the main event not disappointing.
Vera was dominant during the entire fight but the head kick to take out Cruz in the 4th round was the way it was ment to end.
The only real upset that I could remember was Nate Landwehr beating David Onama.
This was the one fight that caused my parlay to lose so it was the one I can recall being the biggest loss of the night.
Never call Nate the train ever out of the fight as this one looked to be done in the first by Onama.

To be honest, I was half asleep near the third round and only got bolted back up when I heard him knock him out.
This was in the dying minutes of the fifth round.
It was unreal.

I'd say Leon got lucky with that last kick; it was a well-placed kick that hurt Usman so badly that I couldn't have imagined that a kick like that would knock him out. Usman was superior to Leon other than the first round; he outclassed Leon in all areas, stand up and on the flood. I'm overconfident that Usman will win the rematch, but please understand that I'm not picking on him because he's from Nigeria. Lol.


It was a difficult weekend. Over the course of one weekend, I had to stay awake to watch Oleksandr Usyk humiliate AJ, watch our under-20 women's team be eliminated from the FIFA World Cup, and watch Usman KO.

no limbs was broken. it was just the jaw. they are healthy athletes, they can recover quickly after a blackout.
but what i'm saying is that it will be best if they could fight right before this year end, probably nov-december. ufc does have fights schedule every weekend. it be wasteful to see fights that are not hyped and with nothing to get excited about. but Usman vs Edwards make a resounding hype in mainstream media, White would love that.

December is the perfect time for the game to end the feud between the two, but has White brought up the discussion of the trilogy match after the last match. However, I believe the Usman vs Edwards match has been planned behind the scenes but they will not rush to announce the schedule. On the list of upcoming UFC events there are spectacular fights until the end of the year so we can enjoy some more big fights before the official schedule for Usman vs Edwards III is announced.

Wow! What a great UFC fight in Paris to behold last night.
The french fighters did know how to put on a show for their home crowd.
The last main card fight was one of the exciting matches I have seen in a while.

Gane got knocked down in round 1 and it looked to be over for him.
But he came back in the next round to start his annihilation of Tai's mid-section with those lethal kicks and then a few punches and it was over.
