I think Dogecoin had room to succeed without Musks help, but he definitely accelerated it much faster and gave it that widespread publicity. It actually has a lot going for it in comparison to Bitcoin, the main benefits being reduced fees and much larger circulation. One of the greatest things holding back some cryptocurrencies is they become unspendable investment assets rather than something used for regular daily transactions. At 126 billion (now almost half that after some were destroyed) it is less likely to be hoarded because the volume makes it higher to interfere with the price as it gets more and more expensive. The novelty factor of the name also draws in a large amount of younger "meme" buyers who want to own something with a shot at appreciation.

Yes, I believe If Musk did not tweet about Dogecoin we can not expect such a high value of Dogecoin even I believe when Elon tweets something negative about Doge in the future Doge will drop hard too. But, Dogecoin is already in the market long time ago but still with cheapest price. When Elon Musk make tweet about bitcoin, many people become interested in investing on it. Buying or accumulating is long time done and don't expect that it would raise up continuously considering that even Elon do make up some hype with Doge but doesn't mean that he would continuously buy it non-stop, this is a wrong mindset and if I were to say - he might already sold his coins and as expected when hype and talks is over then Dogecoins price will surely go back when it was before and this isn't something new that you can see into this market when it regards to hypes and fuds.

Before, the common use case of doge was really for transfer purposes or in gambling sites. This was when doge was still cheap so their transaction fees were relatively cheap. But when the price soars, the transaction fee is not cheap anymore. TRX or LTC, are now cheaper than doge, if you check the withdrawal fee in most exchanges, which may range to equivalent amount of $7-10 in doge.
With regards to the question, I don't think the price will soar like this if Elon haven't tweeted about this. Still the same, about 20-50 sats, if it has not been hyped.

There are definitely a lot of crypto investors with a different understanding, some have matured while some are newbies who invested blindly, they just follow the hype and get FOMOd. Couldn't agree more with you, mate. Dogecoin is nothing but hype that will soon fade away. Despite Elon Musk's shilling, Dogecoin's facing resistance to get all the way to $1. This is because the coin's supply is enormous. The hyperinflationary nature of Dogecoin will keep it from going up in the long term. It was never meant to be used as a store of value.

Once Elon Musk stops tweeting about Dogecoin, its price will go all the way down the drain. It won't go up on its own because of the reasons mentioned earlier. There are far better coins out there on the market with active development and innovation. People are just foolish enough to make their investment based on someone else's opinion, instead of doing their own research about the project. Elon Musk must've profited big time with his recent market manipulation strategy. With or without him, crypto/Blockchain tech will carry on as usual. Just my opinion
