I missed all the action earlier, but after checking the highlights, that was indeed a free NFL daily special with Cook scoring a TD around the third quarter.

Also, that missed field goal from the Bills spoiled my point for the pick'em, as their handicap was 10.5, just a half point short for the cover.

James Cook was cooking in the first half of the game and thought he was going to score their first or even second touchdown but it eventually did come in the second half as you said.
Completely missed the entire last quarter so only seen when they tied it up at 21. And just knew they weren't going to get the -10.5 handicap for the pick'em pool at that point.
Remember when they had to make a comeback in their first game and only won by a point? I think I will be fading the Bills when it comes their handicaps from now on because they seem to be a team that just can't cover on the points spread.

Anyways, they showed the quarterback which were injured and won't be playing this coming weekend.
Was mistaken with Caleb Williams being out with injury and it was Jets QB Justin Fields who will be replaced with Tyrod Taylor for their next match.
Also Washington Commanders will be without Jayden Daniels as their QB and Marcus Mariota will be at the helm:

They did mention during that call there is just too much going on for the referees to catch everything during this formation. They miss every movement that occurs.
Impossible for them to catch everything they can't see during the tush push play.

This is what I got for the early matches. I recall parlaying the big favorites in the previous seasons, and maybe it's worth a shot to run it back.  



Also, some of the handicaps this week is tough to call. It's tempting to pick the underdogs, as they're above the key numbers (+3.5 or +7.5), but i'm scared that they'll get decimated.

Hated Panthers winning against the Falcons in the early games since I had them in the pool too.
They got humbled by Carolina 30-0 the last I looked at the scores before the late afternoon games started.

Just watching Denver doing the exact same thing to the LA Chargers on their home field.
But Los Angeles lost their main running back Harris in the second quarter so they are not looking confident in this game at all.

Another surprise so far in the season are the Kansas City Chiefs starting 0-2. Not sure how they will do against the Giants when they play them in New York.

I also thought the Panthers were bad, but the Falcons decided to one-up them by getting rolled and finished the match with zero points.

They did good against Chicago Bears in showing the Lions still got game. But these Baltimore Ravens are a whole different beast especially at home.

Since I've already submitted my week 1 prediction, I’d like to see other players picks just like on Superbru where you can view other players pick after submitting your picks.
Is that possible on the Sleeper app too?

Unfortunately, it's not possible because the mechanics on the Sleeper app aren't similar to Superbru, where you can submit or lock your picks ahead of time.
The only way to see what the others have picked is to wait it out until the match is live.

True statement from ralle14 on how the sleeper app works compared to the SuperBru one, which I find better IMHO.

Yes I can't see the pick of other user even I already submitted my prediction, but to good side of the Sleeper app is better than Superbru for NFL because Sleeper it gives you live scoring (unlike superbru that sometimes delayed) also news updates, injury reports,. You can also chat with your league directly in the app, and make comments on the matches making it more interactive with the communty.
Superbru is more focused on making simple game predictions yeah simple is beautiful. But sometime superbru app is complicated imo.

That's interesting to know, I thought Seattle was the slight favorite from start to finish since the odds didn't move even though i've been seeing a lot of gamblers lean on the Seahawks.

In the first three quarters, it felt like Seattle had the game under wraps, but out of nowhere, the Cardinals found two TDs in that final quarter, nearly forcing OT.

Unfortunately, the Cardinals mismanaged the time after their second TD, and it was enough for the Seahawks to sneak in a game-winning field goal.

Today the first NFL game is super early for American Football fans then what they are use to with Sunday games beginning around the lunch time for them to get their beers ready to watch the games for the next 8 hours infront of their big screens.

But within the next hour the first NFL match will be played in Dublin, Ireland making history when the Steelers face off against Vikings!

I can see Jake Browning and the Bengals' offense struggle to score...25 points might be a tough ask. They got demolished last week, and you can argue the Broncos have a better defense than the Vikings.  With Burrow's injury, things look bleak.

If i were the Bengals, i'd pick up the phone and see if Kirk Cousins or Jameis Winston/Russell Wilson are not available via trade. Imo, this is their only chance to save the season.

In any case, good luck with your parlay, maybe Cinci puts on a clinic tonight ...stranger things have happened in the NFL.


I've got this boring double up on the Broncos ml and Jets alt spread +7.5.

Just began watching the first game on the MNF schedule and Jets are looking terrible with the first quarter ending with them fumbling the ball while Jack Jones was jumping into the endzone and Fins recovering it to take over.
Fields with 5 yards so my bet is looking like it will hit for the first part of the acca because can not see him getting over 150 yards now with playing the first quarter that badly.
The Bengals with the Broncos was the one that I am not so sure about hence the over 6x risk.
