Why do you compare the Billionaire and second richest person on the planet to John McAffee they are not equal maybe Elon Musk is annoying sometimes due to his crypto-related tweets but Elon Musk doesn't need the crypto money to shill any ICO projects unlike McAfee, Elon has a number of technologically advanced companies such as Tesla, SpaceX, Neurolink, the Boring company, etc. and technically Elon doesn't need crypto to survive that's why they are not the same. I admit I don't like some of Elon Musk's pronouncements and tweets about crypto but it doesn't mean that he lost my respect I still admired Elon as a tech-savvy entrepreneur.

Elon Musk is more influential than Mcafee but I would say that he's just a business-minded person but doesn't have the same motive as Mcafee. He's literally rich and he's not seeking too much attention but he's trying to play by manipulating the market through his influence. He's using his money and influence to make a huge name and he has proven us a lot through his businesses, unlike Mcafee that couldn't prove us anything.

I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would ever compare Elon Musk with John McAfee. But that time has come now. What Elon is doing is pure manipulation.. although I don't think that he is profiting out of it. I can no longer classify his actions as "trolling". And I really don't know why he's doing this. The only difference between Mcafee and Elon is the fact that one of them is super rich and the other one is rich, plus one of them is super famous and other one is... only known by certain people who are interested in the market he is in. So long story short they have no difference in character, they are basically the same person, I wouldn't be able to pin point any difference in character if I had a gun pointed at my head, it is impossible to make that kind of difference between the two.

However Tesla is one of the biggest companies in the entire world versus Mcafee is just a software company that didn't grow bigger than what it could be. Plus Elon gets all the attention because mainstream media shows him like the savior of the world whereas Mcafee is portrayed as a delirious idiot or even not portrayed at all as well in the end.

There is a major difference between Elon Musk and McAfee, Elon Musk is not a scammer while McAfee is a scammer who promotes scam coins and lure people into investing in those scams and i can pin point many scam projects McAfee promoted and hence you cannot compare them in that aspect.
What Elon Musk is doing is not that great either with his tweets but he never scammed anyone.

Elon Musk has nothing to blame, except for the frivolous behavior on Twitter (what has already been said in this thread).

But I know for sure that John is a deceiver ... if only for the reason that a few years ago a project within the framework of an advisory agreement paid John a lot of money, and after a while he demanded to double the fee, seeing that the ICO results exceeded all expectations. He substantiated his demand by the fact that his assistant had allegedly stolen these funds, although he never provided any convincing evidence. There are many other incidents in which his name appears, but for me personally, this incident is enough to understand who is who, (Roger Ver, by the way, is the same two-faced slippery shit like McAfee.).

I have not fully lived the Macfee experience but it seems that he ended up in oblivion and had problems with the law ... Musk will be smarter and even if we will remember 2021 as the year of meme madness launched by Musk, also of him we will forget.

That's a bold statement that we will forget about Musk anytime soon. Do you think people will forget about Steve Jobs or Bill Gates? They are all different, in fact very different from McAfee. Even if you take Musk and his madness, McAfee isn't that category. McAfee is insane and out of control in so many situations. There is a very distinctive and important difference between McAfee and Elon musk.
Elon must for all his antics on twitter hasn't actually done anything illegal or wrong, all he does is make occasional tweets about a crypto he obviously likes, but this isn't a form of paid promotion of any sorts.

So far Elon Musk is doing a hype on DOGE only compared to Mcafee who has hyped and promote dubious ICO projects, for money, I don't think Elon Musk will promote dubious projects for the sake of money, he is one of the richest men in the world, he is more on taking care of his reputation than earning more money, earning money is easier for him.

John McAfee got money for every coin/token he advertised, and he talked about coins he owned. He was in it for the money. Elon is too autistic to care about the money, he is just tweeting what he wants. Pump Effect on doge will be same though, more he tweets about it. Less value those tweets will have. For now people have bots making market orders for doge every time he tweets, so yeah, there are pumps every time. Eventually that stops working.

It's to early to tell so far many are still making money with Elon Musk's hype of Doge, if Elon next hype are all abut new coins which looks like what McAfee used to promote, then he is in big trouble and with two big names coming here to hype, people are going to lose to personalities
 and just go for projects with proven usage and potential, Musk should watch all his moves, he should learn from McAfee and avoid his mistake.
