Errol Spence jr has made public that he plans to knock out Old Pacquiao into retirement but i seriously hope that he can perform as he has youth & speed associated with age as an advantage to him and a very impressive career record of 27 wins and no losses, 21 of them being KO.

On the other hand, the Pac Man is not going to be an easy opponent, he is very experienced and is preparing really hard for this fight as seen from his social media handles, he is also one of the greatest fighters alive and I hope he will be able to uphold his career record.

Well, that's the path he'd like to take. He shouldn't have get involved into politics, I've said it a hundred times.
However, he made a statement that the current political issues he's facing including the lawsuit didn't bother his preparations against Spence.
Let's see how he would coup up with a lot of burden he's carrying inside his head.
And I agree with @KTChampions, this fight will most probably end his career.

In the world of politics, any publicity is good publicity. It is better than being ignored. This attention is good for Pacman. His political handlers should maneuver the situation carefully, however.

How many previous opponents of Pacquiao said that they will put him into retirement? Just like Thurman before, but ended up Pacquiao as the winner. Thurman was humbled by Pacquiao after the fight. Now, I really hope Pacquiao will win again on this one. And let's see what the boxing world will say. But the thing is, if Pac will win, he may look for another opponent again. I hope he retires very soon.

The stress that his political career brings him at the same time while preparing for the fight, I just can't think how he can handle them calmly.

Similar to other high profile sports personalities, they have to maintain their lifestyle that's why they needed that kind of money to sustain them for the next decade. Plus as other have pointed out, Pacquiao has this political ambitions so in the Philippines, you need to have billions of pesos to run for the Presidency. Just one fight and easy $20 million = 1 billion PHP. Yeah that's a lot of money, but it won't last with Pacquiao's personalities.

What controversies are you alluding too? People support him because he is one of the best boxers to have fought. Yes he has started losing more towards the end of his boxing career or winning but not as convincingly as he did when he was younger but they guy is one of the most exciting and technical boxers ever. Errol Spence Jr does not have much for Manny when you compare their boxing abilities I think a convincing Manny Pac win is on the cards.

I think Manny will remain an underdog even on the actual fight, lots of Americans will bet on Spence as he is the younger and the bigger guy, and champion as well. We believe in our countryman and since he is a "pambansang kamao",  we should support him no matter what.

Most of us here are betting on Pacquiao to win, that's for sure as most fans are Filipino fans.
