Just did update and reboot and miners show inactive ? 1. stopped node 2. stopped miners 3. verified both where not active 4. started update on Web dashboard 5. updated in 2 min all went good. 6. started miners all going good as you can hear the fans spool up. 7. PROBLEM dashboard shows NO hashrate, NO Watts, status showing all 4 units inactive with no info, pool status inactive -front red led slow flashing on all units, orange/yellow lights on bottom of all units flashing, all units green light flashing and also the other solid green, - login into Slushpool account and it shows active hashrates no issues on that end 8. stopped miner and node and confimed it stopped 9. clicked on reboot, system rebooted everything the same as above miners workings confirmed in slushpool but all in showing inactive on web dashboard.
Any suggestions and anyone else with this issue? And no issues with internet connection
Update should have taken way longer than two minutes. Sounds like it did not complete all the way. Try re-flashing SD card and re-doing the update and see if you have the same issue. *UPDATE* Re-flashed SD card using (balenaEtcher) and removed SSD so not to lose my synced blocks. Rebooted just the full node unit on its own. Unit booted up but lost HDMI output signal to monitor (has happen before). Work around to shut down unit nicely is to grab my laptop and login in thru router IP address dashboard and shut down unit. To get the HDMI working again it seem that you have to not only shut down the unit in the dashboard but ALSO (at least for me) have turn off the power supply too. HDMI output working again, shutdown miner and unit. Reinstalled SSD. Powered up all 4 units. Verified miners and node dashboard info working and correct, all good. Turned off miners and node, tried the update again (updated completed in 3min 17sec) reset pool info and all is back to normal. Thanks Jstefanop Cool, yea must have been a bad/corrupted build on the UI during the update. Will probably switch to pre-built releases in the future instead of doing updates this way since it’s more prone to random errors. FYI getting hdmi to work if your monitor loses signal usually works if you just power on/off the monitor. Yea I tried that to but no luck with powering on off the monitor, could be something with my monitor when looking for signal. Will be picking peoples brains soon to get a solution on HDMI output for other monitor setups, project photos to follow soon to help understand why I really need a fix

I did note this yesterday on the full unit too actually. My internet went down for a half an hour and the unit was still hashing away at full power even though it had no internet connection. Thought it was just something on my end so didn't bother reporting it but can definitely say I had this issue as well

Great, thanks! When can we expect standalone miner update?
I was wondering exactly the same. Among others, enabling the solo mining feature for the apollo-miner binary would be great, since it does not work with bfgminer stratum proxy. Or at least I didn't get it to work (maybe a config issue, though it works just fine with cgminer). If somebody has succeeded here, please let me know. @jstefanop, you can count me in on some beta testing when it's due.

Great pool, thoroughly tested code and maintained superbly

I know all the solo pools, but I want to solo mine on my node for a reason (which is off-topic here). So it were awesome if apollo-miner would support that natively.

When I initially started the full + 2 standard units I thought I chose to disable the BTC node. Just checked and it wasn't disabled - it's actively running. How do I disable this??? I see no option on the Node dashboard and I do not want this running!

The whole point of this project is to run a full node, why would you disable that when the main function of the device is to run a node? There is no option to disable, nor will there be (at least not in the UI, you can disable the backend systemctl service that runs it if you really want, or pull the SSD drive since the update will prevent the node from running if it does not find the SSD).

My purpose was a SHA-256 miner. I have no interest in the BTC node aspect. Thanks for the info - I'll try pulling the SSD (seems like a more permanant solution) and hopefully the miner will still operate as great as it has been. Thanks for creating a great SHA-256 miner!

Anyone got a picture of the GPIO connector? I took mine off to attempt to change the heatsink (didn't push my luck so left it) but I didn't take note of how the black connector was orientated and what pins it was plugged into EDIT: Took a gamble and thankfully it paid off. All running again no problems

Does a reboot fix this? Are you updating via local network or a connected monitor? Shoot an email if your still have this issue, want to see where the update is breaking. FYI should have an updated image out later today as well.

Definitely going to by a lotto ticket tonight lol. Managed to fit a Sunon maglev fav 25x25x6mm and run it off the existing harness. Dropped 8c compared to the cheap replacement I bought before. Completely silent aswell now. So I can stop fiddling with it

THIS IS THE SUPPORT THREAD: Keep this thread on topic! All other comments/general questions go to the anouncment thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5314398.0__________________________________________________ Getting StartedThis post is for the Full Package/Node version, while it is geared for new users its still recommended you read the whole post as there is important information that pertains to how our system works. If you are looking for software for your USB Standard Version to run on your own system see post below: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5340015.msg57091051#msg57091051If you are looking for the Apollo BTC Image for your SD card (to re-flash to stock state etc) you can find that below: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5340015.msg57091052#msg57091052Below are the quick getting started instructions that you should have also received inside your Apollo, with more details and an FAQ section at the end. This thread is a great resource for additional questions, and is always monitored so if you have additional questions that are not covered below please feel free to post. Hi All, I have 1 controller and 2 standard units. 1 of the standard units stops working about once a day. (0 hash rate but red light still blinks normally). I stop and restart, this fixes it for a day and the the same unit stops again. Is there any thing I can do to prevent this from happening?

It's good but I feel the extra height is not helpful as it's being half cut off getting cool air by the mounting plate underneath the hash board. Maybe I'll keep looking and see if I can find something local that will fit the bill

Quick question, the temperature listed at the very top of the dashboard, is that the CPU temp? Mine is at 75C. Is that a normal range? The miner hashboard stays around 60C. Thanks!
