I updated my Apollo and 1 of them BTC node is ok and the miner inactive but I see he is online and mining on the pool.
The other same thing, node ok and miner inactive in the dashbord but online and mining on slush pool in my account. on this one I see jstefanop.worker1 on the dashboard page. weird!  Huh
Does a reboot fix this? Are you updating via local network or a connected monitor? Shoot an email if your still have this issue, want to see where the update is breaking.
FYI should have an updated image out later today as well.

Reboot change nothing and I made the update via local network

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Quick question, the temperature listed at the very top of the dashboard, is that the CPU temp? Mine is at 75C. Is that a normal range? The miner hashboard stays around 60C. Thanks!

Hmmmm, maybe I need to open it up and make sure the fan is spinning. I am assuming that there aren’t any screws I should avoid?

Oh yes I was lucky this time. Definitely going to by a lotto ticket tonight lol. Managed to fit a Sunon maglev fav 25x25x6mm and run it off the existing harness. Dropped 8c compared to the cheap replacement I bought before. Completely silent aswell now. So I can stop fiddling with it  Grin

I tried to source one of these but couldn't find one in Australia so had to settle for the Nidec 10mm one. It's good but I feel the extra height is not helpful as it's being half cut off getting cool air by the mounting plate underneath the hash board. Maybe I'll keep looking and see if I can find something local that will fit the bill

Yea I could only order one from Germany (I'm in the UK). So shipping was the same cost as the fan  Roll Eyes

Real easy to take apart. Flip it over. Remove the Nvme drive. Remove screws along one edge. that will release the SBC and Nvme drive daughter board. Pull out the white connector and then you should be able to remove the SBC and daughter board in one go. Just be careful of the ribbon cable between the two.

So now that the release day bugs are all ironed out; how goes adding LN functionality? Was the main reason I bought the full node version. Alternatively has anyone installed an LN client themselves?

We are already working on native lightning + blockexplorer apps in the dashboard, but there is nothing stopping you from installing them yourself. You can connect them to the node using futurebit/futurebit rpc username/pass

Thanks for the image mate! Any differences between this and what was released the other day via the OTA (like the system level fixes - are they for the underlying OS?)

Not really most of the big changes/bug fixes were pushed over the OTA update. Main difference in this image is it includes extra swap memory on the nvme drive, so it can handle additional apps we will introduce in future updates.

Too easy, if I get bored I'll flash the SD card for shits and giggles

There is an update for Crucial P2 SSD which is inside Apollo full package. It's been shipped with P2CR031 firmware version, newest is P2CR033.

https://www.crucial.com/support/ssd-support/p2-support

They provide bootable ISO or Windows app to perform the upgrade. Both methods require taking SSD out and flashing it on another machine. So if you have spare Windows PC, or any PC with CD/USB iso boot support, with empty m.2 slot, you can do it easily.

I flashed my microSD card with the latest update, so I'm running Apollo v0.3.1. I've decided to try the lottery and use ckpool. When I check the pool stats for ckpool, I can see my hash rate reporting at like 1.78T, but my problem is that the dashboard on the Apollo says otherwise. All indicators to the pool say 'inactive', and says I'm hashing at rate of 0.0. I've tried, stopping, starting, restarting a few times, but all mining dashboard representations look like nothing is happening even though the pool is reporting otherwise. Any suggestions? The node dashboard looks OK and looks to be displaying accurate information.

Fan is a common issue. Depending where you are in the world its probably easier to source your own.

My LED didnt work to start with. Just turns out it wasnt soldered properly. Again an easy fix of you use a soldering iron.

Send us an email with this issue, looks like the webui bug fixed the issue the majority of users were having, but there seems to be a small number of users still having this and could be pool related.
